Community Insight:
We have had this app on our iPad for awhile, but never actually played it. We rediscovered it while doing some cleanup and have found it to be very relaxing, but also mentally challenging. The mellow audio helps and that you get several tries before the level starts over is nice. We are on lvl 62, so we dont know how much further we can go, but we are enjoying the ride. Check it out.
And we finished all of the levels.
Love that this puzzle is still getting new levels. It is a nice wind down at the end of the day. Enjoying on our iPad mini.
We love this game and we replay it every now and then (often while waiting for something unpleasant, as it takes our mind off of the thing Im waiting for.) Yesterday we were sad because we were at level 50 and wasnt done waiting, so imagine our delight to find more levels! We were so happy. (BTW if you like this one, check out his other games – klocki is also excellent!).
A very well-made game. Some of the lines were hard to determine where the break-in was. As a result, we made unintentional mistakes. We made it through all 50 levels.
And was sorry to see it end. It was a great way to forget about all else for a few minutes. Liked the three chances before restarting too. You might give some consideration to making the overlapping sticks show which is on top of which. Its hard to see when you play on your phone unless youre wearing good glasses! Now get busy and design more levels.
This is a fantastic puzzle to give your brain a good workout. No instructions, no anything. You figure out everything for yourself. We got stuck on level 42, but we kept trying and finally finished all 50 levels. After a break from it for awhile, Ive started over. It kind of seems like it has started with s new set of combinations, but we cant be sure. Anyway, no pressure, no timers, no distractions. Its great. Its challenging enough to give anyones mind a real workout without the stress.
Probably our favorite game Ive ever had. The music is ethereally beautiful and soothing. It seems a lot of games seek to cause a rise in adrenaline, of the win-or-lose anxiety. Not this game, its the antithesis of that model. Thank you so much for making this game. Ive played it many times, and we revisit it often. P.s., would love to see the soundtrack released. : ).
We have had this game for quite a while. The more advanced you get, the harder the puzzles. Many times we have gone back in and solved the puzzles over and over. Still a challenge when you get to the top tiers. Excellent game. Really wish it had more levels.
Ive enjoyed this for some time now. Started over after completion of the fifty puzzles and hoping for more.
So relaxing….. Easier levels are there to teach you what the symbols mean/do, then the upper levels are just pure concentration and satisfaction when completed. We would gladly pay for more puzzle packs. We hope the developer will offer more puzzles as in-app purchases.
We absolutely loved this game. We're a puzzle addict and this is by far one of our all-time favorites. Beautifully simple design, but increasingly complex puzzles. Wish we hadn't blown through all the levels as fast as we did.
This is everything we want in a puzzle game!! Its relaxing, rewarding, and perfectly challenging. Lets kickstart this! How much would it cost to develop 500 levels? Assuming they continue to be progressive.
The 50 levels are pleasant and never get to that pulling-our-hair out level of challenge. It took us about an hour to get through, and while Im disappointed there arent a dozen new ones yet, it was a fine way to take our mind of 2020. We found this when trying to find a game that was like the cool puzzles that Hero Wars and Total Battle put on Facebook but that arent actually a real part of the dumb combat game. We still wish there were a game that was only the sliders and gold and lava and monsters, but Hook has a lot of that mental challenge in a very coming and enjoyable game.
This was very cleverly designed. Im at level 40 and although its not extremely difficult, it still draws you in and begs you to solve the puzzle. What we really love is that – in our opinion – we can also use this as a bedtime sleep app. 2 Thumbs Up.

Its pretty much a maze and logic game. Its like youre trying to figure out wiring but actually fun. One of the best games and want more.
As we kept on playing a few levels, it got more and more interesting. And by the time we reached Level 23, we came straight to the App Store to write a review for this magnificent game. Magnificent is just a makeshift word we used here for lack of a better adjective. We honestly think they should invent a mew adjective to describe this game.

Just completed the 50 levels. Loved it so much we are starting over again.
We just finished Hook – 50 levels of wonderful puzzles. The mechanics are easy to learn and the puzzle get more and more complex as you go on. But nothing was impossible – take it step by step and youre sure to find a solution. Theres no competition or ratings or anything in this game. Theres no perfect solve. Its just relaxing; Ive found solace in it when everything around us seems to be moving so fast. This game helps us slow down and focus for a while.
This game is awesome! No ads and makes you think. Was sad there were only 50 levels as we could have kept playing.
Please please please continue to make games. You make the best games on the app market. Ive beat some of them several times. Love them all. Please make a sequel.

Purchased this game today and Im HOOKED! Beautifully simplistic gameplay, calming, relaxing music, and masterfully built levels all make this puzzle game a five-star masterpiece! The levels begin as very simple and easy to teach you the different components, but quickly become mind-bending challenges around level 25. With an astonishingly low price tag of $0.99, this game is worth every penny.

This is the kind of game we like. No scores, no time limits, no lost lives, just complete the puzzles. Each puzzle is beautifully laid out but becoming more complex each level Currently there are 50 levels and first time through it can take awhile to complete them all. The first 10 or more are really the tutorial, but by level 20 you have to start thinking through your moves. We look forward to more levels. Until then it'll be fun repeating the entire game again.
Its truly a puzzle game of combinations; like the description indicates, more of a journey and experience with calm soothing sounds along the way. Just yesterday we blasted another app that placed ads being a puzzle game like this but the 2nd one was not a puzzle, it was a finding game; no logic or brain needed, just timing to tap not a half second too soon and not a half second too late. We hate timing games that are not puzzles; we like puzzle games like this where is just us and the puzzle.
This game is so relaxing, and so incredibly well put together. Id LOVE to see more levels! Y only but, isnt really a but, as much as it;s a suggestion. Up the ante here. When you clear a bar, make one thrust out somewhere else and force an additional move. We really love this game…..so much potential for it to be even better……cant wait to see what the developer comes up with on the next installment. Please tell us theres another installment, or another level pack coming out.
We recently stumbled upon Maciejs puzzles and immediately became hooked (yup, we meant to do that). This one, Hook, is our favorite (so far). We binged and went through all fifty levels in a couple days. Maybe by time we finish his other games, (s)hell have added more levels… Or other games. Ive not found anything else quite like them or anywhere near as satisfying.
Our go to game while riding exercise bike. Makes the time go by really fast. Wish there were more levels.
The only drawback is not enough levels…. This is a great minimalist puzzler game thats fun and easy to play.
Very satisfying puzzle app. Some intricate sequences requiring multiple step-backs and planning. Methodical and meditative. Got this in a puzzle pack – so far, this is the best one, imo.

We've always been fascinated by puzzles that are multi dimensional and require the player to think through various scenarios before moving. This is a terrific game for people like us. It is simple and clean and tests ones ability to concentrate and clear the right path. The one and only drawback is there are only 50 levels…then you're done. Give us more, please.
This game was amazing. We wasnt sure if we would like it at first but we couldnt put it down. Really makes us thing which we loved.

We loved everything about this game, but wish it lasted longer. Its really great stuff.
While the premise is simple, there is something very calming and satisfying about it. The interface is very minimalistic, yet pleasing. Our only qualm would be that there are only 50 levels. We blazed through this game in a few hours. The nice thing is that you can still go back and do it over again and it still feels relatively new. There are no tricks, short cuts, nor surprises. Its very straightforward, follow the path and figure out the circuit. LOVED IT.
Nice little puzzle game that entertained a five and nine year old for an evening, as well as a 41 year old.
We quite enjoyed it, but at 50 levels we wanted more – expect to finish this in a few hours. Still delightful.

As someone who is always stressed out by calming games, we can honestly say that this game is a work of art and the perfect speed for anyone who needs a real break from stress.

Its simplistic and it slowly accumulates to a very complex and exiting game. Would definitely recommend.
We love all sorts of puzzle games and this one was a perfect fit for us as well as our playing style. We adore the simplicity of this game. The first dozen levels are merely introducing the various ways to work the puzzles, but beyond level 15, you need to concentrate and plan your moves with ever increasing hardness. We did finish all 50 levels in one day, so we were disappointed to see that is all there was, but we hope the developer will add more levels with even more twists and turns to keep us on our toes. We have now played through all 50 levels twice and may go once again because we enjoy this type of game so much.
