This is one of the best games we have ever played! We love zen koi one and two and now pro! The new update DOES delete the thrill when you find a new koi pattern and get the new pattern BUT it tells you how to complete a collection! ALTHOUGH you cant get pearls. We feel like pearls made the game interesting and we also feel like 50 slots isnt enough! If you have time please at least add our second suggestion. No pressure! You dont have to do it if you dont want to.
Okpretty nice game but Zen? How about letting us chose a truly Zen mode without torture plants and torture bugs? This is supposed to be relaxing, not frustrating. What we mean by this, as the developer questioned us about it, is not plants and bugs being tortured, but plants and bugs are torturing the fish that we are taking care of. When our fish, not on purpose, has to swim through those red plants and red puffer bugs depending on which version of game we are playing, the whole screen around the outside turns red it is not a positive experience. What is the point of causing stress in a Zen game? Isnt life stressful enough.
We love this version of zen koi. No ads, and a quicker game as well. We enjoy the lovely shiny colors of the rare fish. We appreciate the greater simplicity of this version as well. Our only complaint is it is extremely difficult to close out the last few rare fish of each breed. We thought the new addition to the game where they give you fish to help you get the remaining ones would help. But we have played the same origin fish you send us twenty times without getting the fish we need. This gets boring and makes the game less fun. Please fix the algorithm so it is easier to finish our rare breeds. We love this game and thank you for your creative efforts.
We have loved Zen Koi one and two, so we bought this twice, once for ourselves and once for our sister. Im kind of disappointed. The goals are great and stuff, but without the ability to decorate up pond and earn a few decorations it feels kind of like we got half of an app. We know that wasnt your intention lol, but perhaps a pond and the ability to awaken dragons to earn points in this game as well would be a good thing, especially if you allowed things like like the stones for changing the color in the pond. Do you know additional downloads for seasonal things wouldnt be a bad idea either just keep them very peaceful. Halloween can be peaceful, even though would think that it cant be. Some ideas for you to consider. Up to you. But just remember your fan base equals money.
We like this game its relaxing :).
We have been playing both games for a few years and pro for a month or two. Our only issue is that once the Koi become dragons, thats it. Id love to have something added to this beautiful game with the dragons.
Of the 3 games this we like the most but we miss finding pearls. Maybe use pearls to get a koi needed to complete a collection.
We wish more companies would release versions of their games where there are no micro-transactions. All over its a very relaxing game, made even more relaxing by not having micro transactions.
Our fiance showed us this. Its worth 10$. So many fish slots and you can play offline! Its so mesmerizing! Love it.
We think that zen koi is fun so any cool designs and cool dragoon we have payed zen koi 1 zen koi 2 and now zen koi pro we think zen koi anything the fish are so koi we love the dragons and love the koi.
We love playing ZK2 mostly because they have collector koi, while we love this game it does get a little bland without them although some people say its a dissapointment it isnt, its just bland other than that it would be a 5 star.
Honestly Ive been playing 1 & 2 for years and we feel that they are much better games than this paid one.
Missing koi from 1 & 2 your better off with pocket frogs! Pocket frogs is free with THOUSANDS of patterns and colors and styles this u get 16 of each set & there's only 4 sets yup 4 .. Lame .. Waste of money boring.. Knock off pocket frogs attempt maybe. 10 is not even worth it! 1$ is worth the price given they give u little to no gameplay.
This game is so fun but they dont have the pond from zk2 we heard the developers response but Id enjoy it much more we like the less restrictions but Id also like if yall added the constellation and the collectors koi and if you could breed your own koi.
This version has finally fixed for us two things we disliked in ZK1 and 2. First, it is now playable offline. Second, you get new koi instantly. No more waiting until next day to continue playing because all egg slots are filled. If you enjoy collecting aspect of the game, this is perfect.
Ive been playing this game on and off for years and losing interest due to the paywall. Finally, theres no paywall, plus some extra types of edible bugs! We look forward to any updates and potentially added features from Zen Koi 2 because we really liked the dragon mini games.
This game takes the best bits from the other ZK games, with no ads and no interruptions, no asking people to send you koi. (we never play apps multiplayer as we do it just to relax, not compete.) we hope there are plans to expand with events and even more great patterns, but we love the instant-hatch (we hate to wait!) and large koi list.
While we love the ability to instantly hatch our eggs and having so many egg slots, this version of Zen Koi really takes away features. We personally could care less about the social aspect, but the lack of events or season koi really feels unjustified. This is supposed to be the pro version of zen koi, so why does it feel like it has less than the free-to-play versions? We love collecting things, but we would also like to feel rewarded for it. The lack of anything to do with your dragon points really makes the dragon points worthless. Honestly, it feels like they wouldve been better off making the original games have an offline option (you dont really need internet to swim, breed, and ascend). They couldve even done a premium option for hatch times and the slots and even the new shiny/metallic koi. This version of the games really feels like a hit and a miss, because ultimately it does not feel like a pro version at all.
This is exactly how we want to play Zen Koi. We dont need to rely on other players to complete challenges or for new patterns, we dont have to swim the dragon realm or maintain a pond. Just swim and ascend beautiful fish. Perfect, relaxing. Thank you.
The developers have listened to players and delivered an offline version of Zen Koi. Sure, it doesnt have any socials like gifting of koi anymore but that comes with an offline, no internet game app. So we can play Zen Koi even out at camping or in a subway where there is no internet connection! With Zen Koi Pro, you dont need to purchase koi slots anymore, no more wait time on hatching and faster koi ascensions. We have played ZK1 ZK2 and now ZKPro and we love all of them. Depending on how you play the game will probably decide which you like most. We prefer ZKP. Its a true zero stress experience with all the restrictions removed. Our only concern now is that we might move through the ZKP game too fast! We hope that the same seasonal and event patterns will be added in future upgrades. We would be sad if the game experience is finite and ultimately ends with no path forward once current patterns are completed. We would be more likely to upgrade patterns in ZKP with the lower stress environment.
Our disappointment with this is that its a repeat of Zen Koi with out boosters we can stock up on. We wish we had known before hand that Id be collecting koi we sweated to conclusion two years ago.
We love all of these games and love the changes to the breeding and eggs with this but we really wish we could use those changes to do the collectors koi that were unlocked with dragon points in zen koi 2. It seems like this could be added without interrupting the more chill offline vibe of this version. The fun different colors and more intricate designs of the collectors koi are amazing and would be so much more amazing with the smoother breeding process! Please consider this for a future update.
We were really hoping there would be new bugs and critters to eat.
We were really excited for this game, and we are enjoying it. However, they cut a lot that was in the free version. Theres no pond, no friends, no daily quests. Im hoping they add seasonal koi that are in the free version, but Im not holding our breath. Im very disappointed. With how much they left out, it feels like half of the free version. We dont know if we can recommend buying this. Edit: we just saw the developers response to someone else, saying theres no social features because its an offline game. We dont know why it cant have online features with the option to play offline. We really thought this would be a replacement of the free version, not a companion.
We wish we had our pond and a way to see all the fish swimming around. Whats the benefit of dragon points if we cant design it or open up new fun patterns. Just ascending koi and making new patterns is fun but we feel like removing daily quests or friends also diminishes the game.
Its pretty, but we cant even finish one koi in this. Fish come by to mate far too often and apparently the queue is infinite. We also miss all the things they removed. No daily objectives. No eggs. No pond. No shop. We hope theyll add things back. Not worth it just for the ability to play offline.
Having to start our collections from scratch is annoying. We had hoped our collection from ZK2 would be available so we could continue working on it.
Ive advanced on the other two games so starting at ground zero is hard. Disappointed that we cant buy boosters. The koi is so slow! The graphics are updated but we guess we gotta give this a chance. Why no boosters? Dang.
No way to aspire to anything – no way to outreach and trade – a very dumbed down version. You all gotta fix this. Got a response from the developer. They just dont get it. On the other hand an adult coloring book based on your fish would sell well on Amazon.
