Just to start, we adore this game. We've put in many many hours and it always just makes us smile. It's peaceful and colorful and overall very well designed. Great for insomnia or if you really need to just take a minute to calm down and let your mind rest. Nothing in the game is harsh nor tricky, and we have almost no improvements to suggest. However, we do have a few ideas for the game. A possible add on would be to make it wifi free. The necessary to be connected is mildly annoying because you cannot play on a plane or other non wifi or cellular area. Another add on would be to have another connecting method other than facebook. We are part of the generation that no one uses facebook anymore, and we'd like some other way to connect with friends. Speaking of connecting, our friends and we cultishly play games like these and kleptocats. Fun and simple games for the most part. However the common trend is that we are unable to connect with each other in the app. It would be awesome if there was a Bluetooth or nearby scanner so we could get all our koi together in a pond if we are near each other and possibly breed new and exciting fish with our friends fish. There's no need for anything other than the ability to interact on a very basic scale with our friends. Thank you so much.

We love this game. We just have two things that would make it better. 1. Syncing through Facebook – we wish that we could connect our advanced game to the new one and keep our progress. 2. It would be wonderful to be able to play without wireless and then have it sync back. Even just chasing down prey off the internet would be awesome. The different fish are neat and we love the progression to get a dragon. It doesn't take too long of dedicated playing time to get a fish to dragon hood. ETA — we wish there was a 'friends' feature where you could add FB friends and send them needed prey items and see their dragons. It'd be a nice social touch.
It is a neat game but for some reason our tutorial didn't come up so it took us a while to figure out the game. But it's really fun and addicting.

You need wifi to get to the next crafting stage or to find a mate please fix this. We live in a no wifi zone and would love to play.

We were able to get help very quickly when we had an issue and the gameplay is very calming. It might be a bit repetitive, but it's meant to mostly soothe, not excite. We recommend this to people who want to sit back and relax for a while. It may take time to finish the whole game, so be prepared.
If Zen Koi had a little more to it, we would be more than happy to spend 50-100$ every paycheck on this relaxing game. It would be great if instead of just seeing our koi and eggs in a list, if it took us to a tiny pond where we could view them swimming around together, waiting to go on their adventure. It would also be much more pleasing if koi had particle effects coming off of them as they grew, depending on what element of dragon they would become. (Aka red koi have some flame effects, green koi have nature) we'd love to see the game expand more on its existing concept is all. It's close to 5 stars for us but it needs a little more diversity to the gameplay to keep it engaging long term.
When we exit the thing you use to craft the gems to expand the pond, the game freezes and we have to close it out. Please fix.
We love this game but it's so annoying when the internet connection goes out, during rides… We'd love it if it were available offline, it keeps us calm in stressing situations.
We got this game about three months ago. We got a dragon and also got really far on some other ones. But now we can't play the game unless we update it. PLEASE FIX.
It's a great game, we're addicted! But the ads keep making us lose our progress because every five seconds, a video pops up. We had a rare koi pop up to breed, and the ad made us miss our only chance. Until it is fixed our rating stays low :/.

We recently downloaded Zen Koi because we were looking for a new relaxing game to play when we need to slow down our ADHD brain. We had tried a couple of other "relaxing" games and they just weren't doing it. Zen Koi hits the spot. It's beautiful, its serene, it has just the right level of goal-orientedness to keep us interested but not feeling anxious, competitive, or frustrated. We can play it for hours. Recently we had a question about the game, and we sent them a message on Facebook. We received a reply within half an hour, and our question was answered thoroughly and kindly. They were extremely helpful and attentive and made us feel like a person, instead of just another faceless support ticket. We were very impressed by the level of detailed, timely, and friendly support we received. In short, this game delivers and the people behind it are great, too.

Great for when you want to waste some time while trying to relax or chill a bit. :] One of the very few games we spend money on (just to remove the ads, really, which didn't remove the optional videos to earn pearls, thankfully), and it's worth it. You'll definitely want more slots for your fish. If repetition isn't your thing, and are looking for something with more fast-paced action, then this isn't for you.
Very fun to play and it's truly a great game! We have no issues or problems with this game and it's a really good for it's kind of game. We like that you can breed and turn your koi into dragons. It's satisfying when you can make your koi stronger. What a great game.

This is a great calm game to play. It is beautiful and we enjoy it as a go to chill game. It takes forever to load. You can play it offline, but can open it offline.
Once you've done it once it's the same mission over and over. There's really no motivation to continue. Also what is the point of the dragons.

We really like being fish (lol) and eating everything; it's really hard tho. We bet it is for everyone, so that's not really our complaint. The eggs are! We love hatching the eggs, but the stupid slots that we apparently don't have enough of. So we spent gems on getting one, 10 gems. But then, next egg, 20 gems for next slot!!! So it just goes up and up??? This may make us delete the game, please fix it, because the rest of the game we love.
Thus us pretty good but it could be more entertaining.
