Just one problem we have some problems connecting our phone to the game but everything else works perfectly we love this app.
Its a Ok app they fixed it with some bugs but there still there for Just dance 2014, 2015 you need a Move controller for Ps4, ps5 Im not sure about the Xbox cause we own it but for Xbox im 100% sure Just dance 2016-2022 works fine with this and its actually fun if your depressed.

The controller app used to just work fine but when we went to play the 2020 version, it didnt even try to connect.
Good app but so sad that unlimited is no longer available for ps4 our just dance game is basically useless since they barely have any songs on the 2020 version. We remember this being the hype back in the day when it was good. All good things come to an end. Rip.
Please upgrade your app. We cant connect. We love just dance.
This app is not working on demo versions.
We like how it's easy to connect but we wish they allowed more JD games, like, we would like to use our phone for JD 2015.
Ive been trying to connect our phone as a controller for the past few months and it always gives the same message of our devices not being connected to the internet. Its a waste of money honestly since the disc is now unusable due to us not having a Kinect sensor.
Fun game and all, but it is ridiculously hard to connect phone to it. Im not able to and judging from these reviews a lot of other people havent. The reviews were from a really long time ago how is this not fixed.
The app works well when it actually connects, which is very rare. 9/10 the app will not connect to the game just dance, no matter if you reset your device, the platform, or even download it back. The chance you will actually be able to play is relatively low.
We threw our phone across the room, seriously dancing while holding a phone?! What is that logic.
It was working perfectly fine bf the update and now it just keeps saying error you guys should fix this asap.
It keeps saying that we need to connect the WiFi to it and it is we turned it off and back on and tried turning our phone all the way off and nothing is working it doesnt need to be updated.
All we get is an error message. We've contacted people and googled things and spent hours researching to find out it's an unfixed but.
Ive been using this app since 2017. Its perfect but now everytime we try to use it, it says please allow app to access the same WIFI network in your settings even though we have it turned on. Its been doing this for about 2 weeks now. Please fix it.
Worked up to the most recent update. This app is wonderful, works well, good motion detection, etc. But fairly recently Ive had a pop up saying to connect the phone to the same Wifi, which its connected to, and shouldnt be a problem. Please fix.
The new Just Dance update on January 19th, 2025 caused our phones not to connect to our Just dance ps4 2022. It says you need to connect to the same WiFi as your controller. And we are. We had one phone that did not automatically update the app and it still connects. A bug.
Its telling us to allow it to connect it to the same network but it already is. We played with it the other day, usually id rate it higher but unfortunately it is not working.
We have been using the just dance controller app for our Xbox series s for a couple of years it worked fine we recently bought just dance for our play station four and the app says on our phone that we need to connect our phone to the same WiFi as our play station but it is on the same WiFi so we updated our phone thinking it was the problem and it still says the same thing so we go on our Xbox which we had originally used and now it says that same exact thing we are very disappointed and dont know what to do.
They renamed it to just dance 2016-2022 controller and now it wont work with our phone and if we try it say connect it to the same WiFi as your console and it is connected fix it.
Just dance won't let us connect our controller, we've connected our system to the same WiFi as our phone and it's still not connected. Something's definitely wrong with the app.
Our sisters and we have been playing Just Dance 2022 with this controller app for years now , and we never really had issues like this before. Used to there would always be a bug stating that there was a problem on the Ubisoft side and they were working to fix it. Which we would always end up getting it to work when it said that so it wasnt a biggie.But Its been a few months since we last played and we just now TODAY 1/19/25 updated and opened this same just dance controller app. It states on our phone every time we open the app To use your phone as a controller, please allow the app to access the same Wi-Fi network in your phone settings Then it gives us the option to open our settings which we then do but we already have gave access to EVERYTHING there is to access. Its doing the same for our sisters phone. We searched this up on google to see if anyone else was having the same problem as us and there are several people having the same issue. Someone said on Reddit that it was yet again another problem on the Ubisoft side server that they are currently trying to fix, but it has been days and still no updated response on if this problem will soon be resolved or not.
Recently we had been getting an oops error when Im connecting our iPhone 11 pro max it wont work like it used to we dont know if you guys drop the servers for mobile play because we use our phone to play so can you guys fix the problem.
We dont know if its just cause its on an iPad but itworksperfect for mer.
Our daughter and we have played using this and ps5 no issues. Works great! The app looks to connect to ps5 immediately so basically: 1. Start the app on PS5 2. Make sure your phone is on the same WiFi as ps5 (or has multicast enabled if on different WiFi networks) 3. Start the app on your phone and it should have your ps5 name in the start button on the Just Dance iOS app.
Ive only had it for a few days Im using a ps5 with 2022 game and its been going great no issues connecting like other and easy to use overall great.
We played just dance 2017, and just dance 2016 it we great nothing bad it happens.
This app doesnt work at all but is so cute and preppy that no matter how many times you get kicked out you just keep smiling and try again for the one millionth time! This is all we do everyday, even tho it doesnt work! The only negative thing is that we keep having to get a new phone because we keep throwing across the room when we are dancing but a tip is, when you throw ur phone just keep playing! Love thissssss broken apppppppp.
This app is a cool app and for our Xbox we got more just dance games and we do not have the connect so we use this app as our controller like switch joy cons but the switch stopped the controller app for 2017 to 2018 and it is fine and there is one problem on 2017 when we tried to manage our account it says log into U play account on smart phone when the smart phone app does not even give a choice to login, but at least we can dance in the game and the game is a good for people who do not even have controllers for game consoles, and still play just dance.
We have played a long time and it the best we ever saw this didnt work on iPads, so we guess it can only work on iPhones. Well good job.
So yesterday when downloaded just dance on Xbox it said something about the Ubisoft servers but we dont care about it so today when our dad let us have the app we thought playing this game Rn.
We remember first using this app with JD21 and it worked perfectly no crashes no nothing. Only frustrating thing is accidentally throwing our phone across the room.
Got the game today and tested it out no issues will definitely give 5 stars.
Yall just close out your apps before you open it.

We do agree with the reviews but the just dance app has changed and its easier to connect your phones. The only problem is why they charge you for a subscription to play any song even thought the game cost money.
On our ps4 we got some games for quarantine and we got just dance 2020 demo and connected our phone and our moms and played it and we were all happy.
We used this app for Just Dance 2020 on the PlayStation and it worked great. It makes sense for this app having problems loading for other people, we were having problems when we got the app. All we had to do was click the the manual option and type in the just dance code into our phone.
We use this on our Xbox one and it is so good.
When Ive played this since 2018 and we have a blast and Ive played 2021 and 2022 with our bestie its so fun and good especially the kpop dances. But we think yall should add more kpop dances because they more fun.
It works great for when we are playing just dance 2022 on the Nintendo switch! It scores even better than the joycons do! This is a 10000/10 amazing app.
This app is so great!! We use it with our friends on the new Xbox. Easy to set up but some mini issues that can be fixed. But over all its a five outa five rating. Make sure to follow the directions that the tv gives u.
We have no idea what the one star reviews are for, this app is so useful! We use JD 2016 on Xbox one, and this app made it much easier as we dont have the motion sensor. :).
Try adding to Apple watch so you might not have to always hold a controller. Great.
We absolutely love it, the process is simple connecting your device to the game, for the controller app to be free its really good and definitely worth it.
All these reviews are just people with non stable wifi! Thats it! It works perfectly fine for us. Scores very well, navigating and connecting is super easy, very convenient when having multiple people play. We like how you just have to swipe to navigate through the menu and we really like the ready feature when playing with multiple players since you can make sure everyone chooses the ideal coach they want to follow. Confused on who youre supposed to copy? Look at your phone! Confused on which player color you are? Look at your phone! Its perfect when you have stable connection and Just Dance Unlimited ads even more fun. Sometimes it glitches and says it cant connect but just delete the app, reset your WiFi, and tinker with it. If you got stable wifi this is the perfect app to use, no extra accessories required.
We know it is not part of the app but can you add Masked Raver-Vexento for Unlimited.
Should make it able for the apple watch.
