Ads after every two games. Words duplicated, sometimes within minutes. Letters not removed or highlighted after being used.
We really like this app, however the ads are LONG (sometimes up to 2 minutes) and pop up VERY OFTEN! There is a limit of how far you can go in the game, then after that, its just wash and repeat.
Too many and too long ads. Annoying.
This is a great app to help exercise your brain. Its a really fun and addictive game. We gave it 4 stars because the ads are very obnoxious.
We like Lingo and play it almost every day. Because of this we noticed that the weekly leagues are almost always led by someone whose performance is impossible without using free letters on the first line every time. For instance, just this week, one of the players has guessed correctly on the first line over 250 times. That means without making a guess and using deduction (like the game is intended for), they are buying free letters to figure out the word and have been doing this for 4 or 5 weeks straight. Just seems like this is someone who probably works for the company. Makes us feel like its not worth playing.
Our ads are 90 seconds thats a bit much and long. Even after a minute and a half. Another pops up again for another 15 seconds its insane.
We love this game, watched the show as a kid, play hurdles in YouTube. But this theres WAY too many ads, that last WAY too long. Also every time you pick a letter thats not correct it should disappear from the keyboard making it easier to see what youve already used. We may not play much longer though because we cant stand the ads. Ads just makes us not want to even check out what the ad is for. Its annoying. Annoying isnt good marketing.
Every time we open the app it makes us click the bingo game. We have no interest in this feature.
This is such a great game. We used to play this at work when you could play against strangers or friends. Now we just can't give it five stars with the excessive number of ads. We've never played a game with this many ads and then we have to start the over because we can't find a way out of the ad. We would pay for no ads, but that is not an option.
Way too many LONG ads we always forget which game Im playing and most times we just close it out.

This is a really fun and challenging game. However, there are way too many ads (after about 2 or 3 rounds) and they are way too long. Takes the fun out of wanting to play rather than watch ads.

Im not opposed to having ads to play a game. But when the ads last longer than any game play over and over, its excessive. We played maybe 5 games and gave up. 60+ seconds worth of ads between levels is wild.
The ads are mazes and we got repeat words within the first day of playing. This app is just another that fits the mold of pretty colors and something to kill time until the next ad.
We purchased the monthly subscription to eliminate ads and they still appear. Use of boosters could be explained more.
Lingo itself is a great game but this app is loaded with other elements that get in the way, Tickets, Ink, Bingo, leagues, Daily challenges, Streaks, then theres an Add every time you want to play more. Would be great if you could just play without all the distractions.
This forces you to watch ads every two games. And were not talking about 20 or 30 second ads. Were talking full 90 seconds.
This game is fun as well as challenging to play. We think sometimes the 4 letter Lingo is too easy for us, and the 5 letter Lingo is too hard; we guess our difficulty level is between the two! Ive unlocked the 6 letter Lingo but we havent played it yet. We like that you can get the letters to earn more points per letter as you play more we think (we probably didnt explain that well enough, but youll see as you play; itll pop up after youve been playing for a while). If you like word games, this would be one Id recommend to play.
Only wish the used letters were highlighted.
This game can be disruptive in public spaces- should be easy for developers to fix.
Terrific for fans of the show, supplements the New York Times daily Wordle nicely.
This could be a great app – the game itself is fun and the features add incentive to keep playing. But every two rounds of play is an ad, and one that requires you to tap multiple times to move past it. Extremely intrusive and repetitive, and since each round doesnt take very long to play, it feels like you are just constantly viewing ads. Not worth it for the amount of actual play time you get.
This game was so much better before releasing ink as a currency. The ink replaced getting gems, so now earning gold takes far longer so upgrading letters is such a chore. Give us a way to earn gems again please.
Ive always wanted to play this when we would watch it on tv and now that Im playing it , we didnt realize how good we are at this.
This is one of the best word games out there. There have been a number of Lingo rip offs that never really got it right. This is by far the best one.
This is a fun game but there are way too many lengthy ads.
Part of what makes the show interesting is the fact that the contestants have to make quick decisions before the 10-second timer goes off. This app, however, gives you a VERY long time to pick each word. We wish the timer were adjustable or would get shorter/harder as you level up. We also agree with everyone else about the excessive ads. We like the game itself enough that Id probably pay to remove the ads, if given the option.
U start with 5 tickets and gotta wait to get more which is how most games go and thats fine but we just downloaded the app 5min ago and won all the challenges til we get more tickets .. Its only been 3 minutes . Now Im bored . We thnk it need to start off with more tickets get the excitement goin . Also the app isnt responding sometimes.
Only use words a 3rd grader would know. Dont overthink it, this game isnt made for geniuses. Ads are frequent and super annoying but the game is not worth the subscription fee.

Love the game but however we paid for ad free with some tokens and we still see ads.
We enjoy the game play itself – when Im allowed to play. The ads are way too long and too frequent. Occassionally the bottom ad link to app store gets stuck and the bottom row of letters is covered. Four dollars a month is also too much to pay for a simple word game.
Updated to most recent version and when clicking DRAW or AUTODRAW, nothing happens other than an animation of the colored balls no number is ever drawn and we can't exit the screen. We have to close the entire app to get out of it.
The game is fun , but the ads are ridiculous! There is an option to buy app to remove ads$3.99 a month?! NOT worth that.
