Looking for a fresh start and some new surroundings, you set off on a voyage to begin your new life! Unfortunately, the weather has different plans, as your ship is hit by a monsoon, and goes down! You drift into a small harbor town, now in shambles from the storm, where a young doctor named Jeanne saves your life. The town has essentially been deserted, but you’re never one to back down from a challenge! It will be up to you to help rebuild the town and save the lighthouse…but it won’t be easy! Nevertheless, with some hard work growing crops, tending livestock, and gathering materials for repairs, you will be able to make new friends, start a family, revive the lighthouse, and save the town, your new home!

Second Edit. Fishing has been fixed. Before when we got the exclamation mark, we would catch one fish out of ten. Now we catch 80% of the time. Edit. Game no longer crashes. Fishing still impossible though. Fish bites and the ! Exclamation appears. We tap and get the progress bar. We tap our phone furiously. No fish. IPhone doesnt have a button like the PS4 or Switch. How are we supposed to catch fish? Game also crashes quite often.
First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANOTHER HARVEST MOON GAME ON THE APP STORE! We have always loved your games and each one never disappoints. This game only crashed once for us coming out of the ours, but it wasn’t a big deal and hasn’t happened since. Other than that we have no complaints. Definitely worth every cent.
We’ve been playing harvest moon since we were 4 years old and its one of our all time favorite game series. Recently, we’ve been thinking about buying a HM game to pass the time (quarantine), but we cant find a decently priced N64 or PSP anyway. This game has a Hero of Leaf Valley feel mixed with HM Boy and Girl. But, somehow, it still feels like 64. We dont understand how there are so many bad reviews on this game. The only thing we noticed that we could bring up is that when youre playing the game for hours without breaks in between, the game crashes and you have to re load the app; as long as you save it doesnt really effect the progress. Other than that, we think buying this game was the best decision we couldve made (seeing as the entire world is locked in their houses right now). Thank you, Natsume! – a life long HM player.
We really love this game, im addicted to it. But for the ocd person like us, please please please can you please do the delete option at the save slots, so we can delete the slot that we accidentally clicked. Pretty please.
This series has been fun since our child hood days. Its so nice to see Harvest Moon on mobile. To be able to do activities of agriculture and simulate the wonderful farm life. Only have two issues about the game: 1) Have some ocassional crashes that can be a nuisance. 2) Loading screens should not have such a long delay. If these issues could be addressed then we can enjoy this game fully. Thanks for this mobile port!
Yes the loading time is a little long, but it does not take away from this great game. Is there anyway we can get some of the dlc content like the clothing store?
Right after save and sleep… The loading became long… And still loading after 2mins. What happened??!!!
This is very much like a Seeds of Memories 2….a much bigger map, more things to do, improved mechanics, better graphics, and nice soundtrack. Relaxing and fun. Nicely done devs!
We just buy this game it showed 14.99 but when we looked to see how much we payed for it said we pay 16.09 we dont mind we love this game but yall need to fix the Price on so people would know it 16.09 not 14.99 dallor plz fix the Price on ty.
We can’t believe all the bad reviews. We were scared to get it because of all the bad reviews. We don’t understand why there are so many bad reviews. We played the hell out of seeds of memories on iPad and we got this game and we’re glad we did. We like it so much better than SOM… We’ve played about an hour so far and still figuring things out. We know a lot of complaints are recycled characters but those are characters we’ve always loved so we’re glad to see them in the game. It really is a great game and a lot of fun although pricey. But we for one love the art style and we feel like the graphics look much better then SOM… The ONLY thing we are worried about is the fishing, that seems to be a major issues for all the reviews on here, we’re not at that part yet so we don’t know, stardew Valley is a well known game but the fishing is really frustrating on that game too, SOM it was just tap tap tap it was easy to catch fish. We sure hope it’s not like stardew valley. We love fishing in these games and we get a lot of income by fishing. Anyways we’re not sorry for our purchase as we are enjoying the game.

We have an IPad that we would like to play our save file on, but am super confused how to transfer the save data instead of starting over? Any help would be appreciated!!! :(
We really enjoy this game and we play it almost everyday and we’ve come to work around the bugs in the game and having it glitch out while mining, fishing, or doing really basically anything you spend some time on to make money, but we definitely think they should update the game and fix the problems that everyone seems to be having, but we definitely still do love the game bugs or not just would be better fixed.
We came here to write a review specifically because we purchased this game yesterday, even reading all the horrible reviews. We’ve been sick the last couple days and decided to play a game yesterday. We have not experienced ANY crashing on our iPhone 7+. The loading screens do not take long at all; 5 seconds at the most? Mainly 1-2 seconds for traveling in between rooms/ areas in the world. Some of the bigger cutscenes may take up to 5 seconds, and the loading screen about 5 seconds. But mostly it takes 1-2 seconds to load up on our phone. As a kid that grew up on dial-up Internet, its still pretty fast. Maybe for the z-generations, or whatever theyre called, 5 seconds is too slow…? The only thing that grated on our nerves is the cicada-like sound during summer days. We have to turn our sound off, which makes fishing a bit more intense. We havent gotten to fall or winter yet, but the spring sound was nice. Wish they wouldnt have included that high pitch cicada background noise everywhere. All in all, a very good game. Im very much enjoying it. We played some sort of harvest moon game at a friends house, back in the PS2 days (I think?) and we remembered liking it very much. Thats the extent of our harvest moon knowledge, so we were pretty new to it. We wanted to play a game that didnt have in-app purchases. Just pay once and play. This has been a very enjoyable game so far! We would recommend it for kids and adults alike. Theres no swearing or adult humor that we’ve found so far (although Im only in mid-summer; have not done any marriage stuff yet. The farming aspect and mining is keeping us busy enough.) So if youre on the fence and see all the bad reviews, it appears theyve given it a pretty good debug. Its good to go now.
Its been a great game so far. But it just recently crashed in a very important part where we were in the ours at the level we needed to be at (31) to get mithril. Unfortunately now we have to restart. Pls fix the crashes.
Not many bugs, the controls are not very smooth. Long load times when transferring areas. When you go to bed it will save THEN sleep. So when you come back you need to sleep again. It should be sleep then save.
Hi, we love the Harvest Moon games a lot. Would give it 5 stars but it force quits from time to time and it doesnt auto save from area to area.
We love this game, despite the fact that it crashes sometimes. Make sure you save frequently!
Love this game. It crashes here and there so save often if you dont want to lose your progress. Features we would love to see are MFI controller support( Im using our SteelSeries Nimbus Controller and It somewhat works) and Apple TV application to play on our big screen.
We love the Harvest Moon Games!! But what we would like to see, that is in all of the other games we have played, is a calendar so that we can see events coming up. That is our only recommendation. Otherwise, this game is great!
We really wish there was a way to connect the game across your devices, we’ve been playing on our iPad but cannot on our phone. Crashes a bit but not bad, all in all a good game.

If it had an auto save button without having to sleep that would be dope. If not, please find a way to keep it from crashing SO FREAKING OFTEN then we wouldnt worry about to autosave button.
Love the game play, only major flaw is it shuts down randomly. So if you didnt save you just lost everything you did following your last save. We hope they fix this bug soon as 14.99 for a crashing game is a bit much. Also we wish it auto saved instead of having to manually save. That would be a nice add on.
This game is fun, we love harvest moon but you blow through the main story line extremely quickly, and while there are still things you can do post credits, it takes some of the fun out to beat the main storyline so quickly. Game does crash at times, but we just save after we do anything important.
Love the game… Keeps Crashing… For our friend above the quantities of the item matter for the quests. Please fix the crash bug and Ill give you a five star… Keeps crashing before we get to save on our good parts eg. We filled our animal barns but before we could go to bed it crashed now we have to buy them all back… We were headed to the mines to close off our day… We literally have to go through the whole events after we buy each animal all over again… Name them again ….
Dont get us wrong there are much better Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons games out there. But this one is cheap, and it lets us play one of our favorite game series on our phone.
There are a few things, first. The moving system is kinda annoying, a simple joystick would be easier. Also, we wish you could skip the character talking cut screen. Another thing. The repetitive loading screens are reeeeeeaally aggravating, so less of those would be nice. Clicking on things is also difficult, (mailbox, collectible items, etc.) otherwise, the graphics are great! Another thing that would be cool, is if you could visit other towns for money, maybe 100 coins, and make others multiplayer friends. Thanks! And keep up the good work!
If you save it a couple times throughout the day then it crashes less often. Graphics are good and storyline is fun.
We are using iPhone X iOS 12. Now playing this latest update, but 3 time crushes within playing. Please, fix it. You know we cant save while playing for every min and hour. We have to play again from morning.
We really like the game it has a lot of different things that could keep you entertained for a while. The only problem that we have with it is the constant crashes.
Great game, but just cuts of in the middle of the game causing you to lose progress and have to start over.
They make the game a bit too easy, which makes it a little more boring. Wish it was like the old PlayStation game that made it more challenging.
We love this game overall and would give it a five star except for the crashing. It seems like we need to save every five seconds to make sure we dont lose progress. We’ve lost days of work because of these crashes and it would be nice if it gets fix.

Whats up? Im playing along doing well, then bam, the game crashes!!!!! Im getting more frustrated the longer we play. What gives?
We love the game, dont get us wrong. But Im giving it three stars because this is the FOURTH time that it has crashed after we did a TON of work on the farm AND mined up to level 53, only to have it crash and loose all of that progress that we made. We paid for the game, this shouldnt be an issue that we have to worry about.
Dont get us wrong with the 3 stars… We love this game. Im a 29 year old – much of our childhood was spent playing/enjoying HM64, and many of the game boy games. This game has allowed us to relive our younger days by providing a complete Harvest Moon game for our phone. Crops, animals, mining, fishing, some festivals, finding someone to marry… Its all there. We just completed the main story line, and we can say that this game does provide a lot to do even after the credits roll, including being able to plant more crops, buy more animals, upgrade your house a second time, get married, have a kid, etc. We will definitely still be playing this for a significant amount of time. The two flaws? The game suddenly crashing, and loading times. We have done our best trying to avoid this game crashing completely screwing up our progress by routinely saving a few times per day. That way, if it happens, at least it doesnt set us back that much. In our experience, the crashing always occurs when leaving the ours, Gus house, or the Docs house. There have been 3 or 4 times where an untimely crash completely wiped out 10 or 15 minutes of our playing time (very frustrating, and not enjoyable to replay the same day). We hope that Natsume sees all of these comments about the crashing and releases an update to fix it – we imagine that it wouldnt be too difficult. The loading times are less of a serious issue, but still a little off putting – we feel like our Nintendo 64 loaded faster than this game! Despite these flaws, we were able to complete the main storyline relatively quickly (by Fall 24, year one). The story is somewhat short, but the replay value afterward is still there. Overall, this is a very fun 5 star game that is being held back our a couple of ridiculous things. People do not want to have to think about saving just in case when they are in the middle of dozens of daily farm chores. It is very easy to forget to save, and players shouldnt have to worry about a game crashing in 2018 (not trying to sound obnoxious, but this is the only app we have that crashes this often). Do we still recommend it? Absolutely. Will it be worth your money? If you already know you like HM, yes. If youre not sure, but think youd like it, we would say theres a good chance youll get hooked. Lets just hope they fix the crashing…
We love the game, but it crashes SO much!!! We get so frustrated once it crashes that we wont play for several days at a time because we are upset with how much was lost! We try to save every time our person goes to sleep, but a LOT can happen in one game day!! Please! Please!! Update and add an autosave feature for every 10 minutes or so!
Just started playing this game. Its a tedious game so far and Im sorry we paid to get it. THE LOADING SCREEN TAKES FOREVER! Keep getting kicked out of the ours,losing what we mined and everything we accomplished for that day.
Game crashes constantly and in turn you lose all progress since your last save. We try to make a habit of saving frequently but even that is super annoying…. Would be nice to not have to save every time we enter a new area/house. The loading screens are a mild annoyance. Typically last between 3-5 seconds. Would we like them to be shorter? Of course, but we think the crashing needs priority here. Especially since we paid $15 for the darn game. Other than these two major issues its a cute, fun game. Just wish we knew we would need strawberries come summer… Now we have to wait a whole year to be able to make the delicious animal feed for the blue bird God help us….
This game is fun and feels very true to classic harvest moon gameplay, and we love having the game on our phone so we can play all the time. That being said, the loading screens make the game seems very clunky. We save often, so we dont have a problem with the occasional crash that some other people have mentioned, but on more than one occasion, we have gotten stuck on the loading page that occurs when you sleep for the day. We will be stuck on this loading page for 5-10 minutes before we will give up and close the game, so we always make sure to select the Save and Sleep option before going to sleep. We actually decided to write this review because we have closed and restarted the game 3 times now and we still cant sleep and proceed on to the next day, we keep getting stuck at the loading screen. If Natsume could fix this issue, we would absolutely love this game. We are excited for any new updates, and we hope they do continue to update the app. $15 is more than we would usually pay for a phone app, so we hope the company will continue to look after and improve it.
We love Harvest Moon and was excited to play a mobile version, but it just crashes too often. We save it as often as we can but it will crash when you leave the mines and at random other times when going between locations. Its very frustrating. Its great when its working but they need to get the bugs fixed.
We love all harvest moon games, they are the best ! Honestly we dont mind the 5 second pauses, but we HATE the game crash in the middle of playing ……. Other than that Id give it a 5 star review !
We wish we could give this a higher rating, because it does keep us engaged when the problems aren’t making us want to delete it. 1: Load times. We’re spending way too long staring at the loading screen. There is no excuse for such a simple game to have constant, long load screens. 2. Crashes. We’ve lost our progress too many times at this point. This wouldn’t be so bad if we could save whenever we want, but limited saves just make it so much worse. 3. Give us a warning tone when stamina is low. Other versions apparently have this.
We’ve been a HUGE harvest moon fan from the moment we popped in the GameCube disc for A Wonderful Life. However, Im greatly disappoint in this new game. The graphics are wonderful, there are a lot of new challenges with crops as far as terrain, and we LOVE that your ours progress gets saved every 5 floors. We are truly tired of being in constant fear of the game crashing. We are tired of putting in the time to complete quests in the storyline multiple times, for a glitch and crash. Also, why such long loading times? It reminds us of the PlayStation 2 version of A Wonderful Life (the only game we played but didnt finish because of the loading). If this game was free, we wouldnt gripe, but we did and Im quite upset. Please address and fix these bug issues. Its clear Im not the only one annoyed with this.
We’ve gotten pretty far into this game without problems, but now its starting to crash randomly. Usually when we’ve been playing a good bit and we havent saved so of course we do hours of work for nothing. Please fix because its very frustrating!
