Took us a very very long time because we really didnt want to use the walkthrough and im not great at games like this but theyre so fun!! We really hope you guys are still making games and soon!!! We need more:)).
We loved how it wasnt a breeze the whole way through, and how there was a whole storyline. We enjoyed it so much and cant wait to try the second chapter.
Im new to this type of game, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time while playing. The memory puzzle was the most difficult part (at least for us), but finally cracking it was so satisfying! We loved the storyline and artwork. It has an eerie, liminal space ambiance which made the mystery element delightfully intriguing. Ill definitely recommend this game to friends.
Today we are filled with sorrow cause this was the last rusty lake game we havent played. Now back to twiddling our thumbs waiting for a new release. Awesome work, really loved this one.
We enjoyed the first chapter of paradox and decided to buy the second chapter. It was breathtaking and provided more depth to the story than the first had already shown. We love all of the rusty lake games, and this is one of our favorites.

So, we just finished chapter one, and we havent watch the movie or anything, but DANG! Its creepy, but only had a few jump scares (thank you), and we love that all the games are connected. Its so crazy. You guys did an amazing job. Like, just, wow. Edit: we have tried to watch the movie, however whenever we click the link, it takes us to a website thats just a white screen. We checked and it supposed to be the movie, but its just white. Idk if its us, or the game, but we really want to watch it. :/ Id find it on YouTube but idk if we would still be able to unlock chapter 2. Is this us, or the game? Again, so wonderful and we still love it.
We normally dont write reviews because typically games like these are boring, filled with ads, and just dont hold our interest. Not this one. Or any of the Rusty Lake games. None of these games come close to typical. Not only does this game in particular easily capture ones attention from the very start, but the precise details with every puzzle, the connection between each of the games, and the whole story line will have one hooked on this game universe. No matter how many times we replay them, we always find something new. If you havent gotten the chance to experience these masterpieces, you are truly missing out. We also highly recommend watching the short film as well. The creators of Rusty Lake have talents beyond what words can describe. 100/10 each game.
Although some parts can be difficult to solve this is a very well made game especially for it being free we loved it and definitely recommend playing it. We will be downloading more of their games.
This is one of our favorite rusty lake games. We have played almost all of them. Multiple times. We dont like any other room escape games actually.
We hope more of these will be coming in the future.
The only bad reviews that are here are 1. You have to pay for chapter two. So what? You got chapter 1 completely free and thats like a hour of playtime 2. Its too scary for little kids. Then find another game for little kids! 3. Bugs. All of the bug reviews are from YEARS ago and have been fixed. This game is PERFECT.
And we are so totally hooked. We have no idea what to do, we just keep trying different things. So wonderful in every way.

The lore, the film and never enough Easter Eggs. RL wins at the story linewhile EC keeps the delicacy and difficulty of puzzles.
We do a ton of escape rooms and this paired with the short film was just as cool if not even more immersive if thats even possible. Wow.

Cube Paradox is our favorite from the rusty lake series so far. We highly recommend! The game play is much more intuitive than some of the earlier escape rooms, so theres less back-and-forth using the walk-through.
Its so engaging, the only puzzle thats a bit obtuse is the clock puzzle in chapter 2. However, overall its amazing, and such a good story. Cant wait for chapter 3.
We LOVE THESE GAMES. The story is amazing throughout all of them, and the puzzles are just hard enough to take a while but not get frustrating. The art is also beautiful and makes it a really cool experience. 10/10.

This whole series is fantastic. We missed it several years ago so we are behind the timesbut it STILL holds up. The movie is so professional, and the game is utterly engaging. Im sure the creators have gone on to bigger and better things, so there wont be more Rusty Lakes – which makes us sad. But Im glad these games exist.
This escape room will forever be our favorite. We love the story elements to it and the never ending story. We 100% buying chapter 2 as it is even better than chapter 1.

We have been playing and replaying the Rusty lakes games for years now and they deserve double the stars they have. Phenomenal game not too creepy but eerie enough it gets your heart rate a tad fast.
We know that not many people would spend money on a mobile game, but trust us, chapter 2 is WORTH IT. We played through the entirety of the free games and loved every second of it. Once we ran out of the free games (which is incredibly kind of the developers, to produce an escape room game of this quality and then basically just give it away) we came to the conclusion that chapter 2 and the other games that cost money were worth it. The puzzles are challenging but not unfair, the game is stylized and polished, it has an actual story that ties every game together, and it doesnt feel as artificial as most escape room games. 10/10, looking forward to any new rusty lake games. At the very least, play the free games first to witness firsthand how lovely the series is.
We dont ever write reviews but we had to for this game. So much effort was obviously put into it and we LOVED playing this one! All of the cube escape games are great but this one in particular was amazing. It was creepy but so interesting. HIGHLY RECCOMEND.
We have a problem and no one we can get help from in the game. Our map will not let us connect to a spot we need to connect to proceed so we cant get through and finish the map in part 2!! Ive tried everything!! What am we to do.
Complex but logical solutions to puzzles. No misdirects, just linear gameplay.
The graphics and details of the entire game are phenomenal. We had no idea what we were getting into when we downloaded this. No ads throughout the game and it is actually super addictive.
