Community Insight:

Something we enjoy about glitch games (Forever Lost, Forgotten Room), is a feeling of being so alone, in a liminal space (if we have that right). Places and stories where there something mysterious, big, dark, dangerous happened before we showed up in the story.,,, and whatever it was, its still lingering. Im getting drawn closer to whatever the dark truth is, and beyond point of no return. But we got to finish the story even if it means Im doomed.

We just Finished it and we loved it you should totally make a part two.

Very nice. We liked it a lot for such a short story. On a scale of one to 10 with the hardest, it was probably around seven. We really enjoyed it.

Ive played this game at least 3 times through over the past couple years bc its just a good one. We love glitch games and would love to see more of this style coming from them.

Love it Forgotten room2 PLZzzzzzzzzz.

This was the first time for us playing a Glitch game. And we must say it was very challenging, creepy, but so FUN! Some items were hard to see because it was so dark. Maybe playing on a bigger screen vs. IPad would resolve that. We did have to cheat using the walkthrough a few times, but again, this was our first Glitch game. Now that Im more familiar with their style of playon to the next Glitch game.

We cant believe that they just leave you stuck! Other games that we payed like this always has a help that you can click on, so you are not stuck the whole time. Very little clues. You go around clicking on everything, and it still saying you need a battery or something. After awhile we just got boarded clicking on everything that we could think of over, and over again. As we said. We just cant believe that they just leave you stuck. How can they think that is fun for the players.

A nice game by the team behind Forever Lost. Great art, as always, and the beginnings of an engrossing storyline. If this is your first encounter with Glitch, youre in for a pleasant ride. However, if youve already experienced the Forever Lost universe, manage your expectations. Its a side effort and doesnt involve the type of rich narrative and empathetic characters invested in Glitchs main franchise. Still, we found it well worth paying the full price and played through in about two hours. Like we said, its a fun one-off. And its good to support quality game studios.

The puzzles were good. The suspense okay. The ending was infuriating. Not worth 1.99. Save your coins people.

Prepare to be extremely disappointed in how this ends.

We purchased this some time ago. Now its asking us to purchase again.

We devoured this in an afternoon. Thank you for keeping us entertained.

Original puzzles, difficult but solvable. Would like it to be longer, not sure its worth the money.

We enjoyed the game with challenging puzzles except the audio recording which gives the answer to the piano puzzle. The issue is that we are deaf and cannot hear the sounds. We had to look it up in the walkthrough to solve the puzzle. This audio recording needs to be added with subtitles. Also, the trumpet puzzle (for pinball machine) is not clear on which buttons were tapped so we wasnt sure how to decipher the patterns. It could be that the way the buttons is tapped too fast or randomly so it was difficult to follow the order of the patterns we need to press to match the patterns in the pinball machine. We had to look it up in the walkthrough to solve the puzzle. Overall, we give this rating 3 stars. This game contains good puzzles, but some puzzles needs improvement to make it clear and understandable.

Although many of the puzzles have to be thought out, a few are ridiculous. The key mold for instance. Wont do a spoiler so thats all we say on that one. Like the other games, the camera is a great touch to remember things but a map would be even nicer. Had a small glitch with the letters game (iPad)…a letter would be right next to the SETTINGS wheel of the game and could not get it without hitting the settings button. Going back and forth a few times from the puzzle alleviated the problem. Just didnt care for it.

Stuck at tap any where to continue.

We definitely enjoyed the game. Wish it was longer, and kinda hated the ending, but if you enjoy these types of games still worth it.

Got about halfway through and it glitched at a crucial point (gas can wouldnt appear after eye puzzle). Restarted multiple times. Very frustrating.

Couldnt even play this title it would never load past the "touch anywhere to begin" title screen.

Great puzzles…hard but enjoyable.

As with all the Glitch games, this one didnt disappoint. We loved the puzzles and it was very challenging which we love. Awesome game.

Glitch games are by far some of the best out there and this one is great as well, with wonderful graphics, gameplay, and clever, intelligent puzzles. However, we agree with some of the other reviewers that it's a bit short. And we wasn't totally crazy about the new inventory style. It made extra steps in those places where we wanted to try various items in one spot. Even so, it's totally worth the two dollars. Understand we're holding them to a very high standard…. One they've set themselves. Glitch is one of the best devs out there and their games are among the very best.

We gave it 5 stars because everyone has a different level of ability to do these games. We found this difficult. In comparison, we found Darkmoor Manor to be a perfect challenge for us. We had to resort to cheating with this one often. We love the ability to take photos (used print screen with Darkmoor Manor). Maybe we just need to get an understanding of these types of games … Or maybe Im just not bright enough. ;-) …. This is written hours later: Finished the game and loved it! We admit to having to cheat about 4 times and would have never figured out certain tasks but the game was great.

Although we like a few escape games, we definitely like point & click adventures more due to the story lines. This game didnt cost much, it had a good story, a great ending, great graphics, and played w/o any issues. It was a little on the short side for our taste, but still worth the price, if you want to kill a couple hours & play some puzzles, then you should definitely get this game. We do await more from the Devs, thanks.

This game is right in line with the challenging, fun, at times punny, and always clever games that Glitch has been producing. And on top of that…its spooky, too. We didnt see the end coming at all…. This is well worth the purchase, price, and we look forward to playing Veritas next. Keep up the great work, Glitch Games.

Every time we start playing, we get one minute in and we get kicked out!! We really enjoy your games and want to be able to play this one.

The play was ok and we thought some of the clues were clever. And play was short. But Myst it is not. The movement was just a few fixed points and the graphics sub par. Myst has a fully detailed world with unlimited viewing and motion. A game more on par with Myst is Xon.

We love Glitch games and we really love this one because of the paranormal aspect. We are passing on am iPad mini 3 or4, so we're not sure if it's our older device that is the problem, but it crashes too much to even play. It's too frustrating.

We really wanted to like this, but the game crashes constantly on our iPad. Need to open your inventory? Crash. Need to look at your photos? Crash. Want to play the piano? Crash. Save your money.

Puzzles are non-intuitive, no clues are available. We just ended up walking through it. Really stupid.

Especially not BAD Jazz. Which makes the opening suggestion of Using Headphones a joke…..make it stop… The game itself is way too simplistic. And without any level difficulty or sound options (other than turning off the volume)…Ill pass. Instead of just the usual redundant updates, why not add the level and sound options, and crank up the challenge..??? Id be willing to try again. Im all for second, at even third chances.

Locks up on the main entrance screen. Completely unplayable on our iPhone 6 :(.

This game crashed almost every time we clicked on the photo album. It also crashed frequently for no apparent reason. Also, we found the puzzles way too convoluted. Even when we looked up the answers, we sometimes would not understand the logic! We love Glitch games, but this one was truly glitchy and difficult.

No controls, cant go back from entering the box, trying to click outside the box just opens the letter again, or the newspaper. Game wont continue. Not an expensive game but glitchy.

The pinball/trumpet puzzle is impossible. Not only does it take 17 minutes to figure out which slot goes to which valve because the animation is so slow, you must wait another 17 minutes to test the random order of the trumpet. The trumpet alone must us a glitch, as the order played is so fast and such a subtle movement that there's no way to tell which valves are opened in what order, and only 4 valves moved. Cannot progress. Never again will we play a game from the appropriately named glitch games.

Ok we got stuck at the first game. Spoilers: there is a book that gives you hints but leads you to a flash drive that is blank. Ok all you needed to do is have a message on it like look for 4 letters and oh by the way they are not in the right order….THIS is the key. Then we would be like oh we get it, we can move on. But if you never catch on, you are stuck. Not everything was clear what clue went with what game. When it did, sometimes you didnt know the order, then you were stuck again. We had a recording and a piano and didnt know which Key was which. Looked at the top picture and still nothing. Then there was a missing key, do we need that to complete it first? No, but Im stuck again. Then it was like ok we got 2 keys on the right, 3 on the left. Do we really need to just guess? Come on. When you get stuck there is no other room to go to. Then, you dont know if you are focusing on the right rooms. We gave it 3 stars because we played a free glitch game and loved it. The one we paid for just frustrated us.

We have almost all of Glitch Gamess stuff. This is a really good game but it is just too hard. All of the other games we eventually figured out all of the puzzles ourselves. However we found ourselves seeking help multiple times on this one.

It was more like a teaser than a game. Could have been so much more.

The only way we can get the game two open after using it is to delete it and reinstall it which obviously isnt going to work.

So we downloaded this game the developer did email us back but took him a long time to do so. The game crashes way too much on the apple format. If its on android its not bad. But getting a resolution to the problem on the istore or with the developer is near impossible. And you are unable to get a refund so theres that downside on apple devices.

Not worth purchasing, was very confusing and poorly designed. Had many crashes and made it hard to play.

We needed help, but it was great fun.

Very well done, as Glitch Games tend to be, and this one was the perfect level of challenge for us: hard enough that we were frustrated and thought about looking for a walk-through, but not so tough that we actually needed to. The camera feature is something we miss in other developers' games. A great touch. The only improvement we'd suggest is a different interface for the photo log. The long-press is annoying and it would be helpful to be able to see most of the main screen and photo simultaneously, and also see thumbnails of all photos (not just 5 at a time).

We love Glitch Games. This one had us stumped for a while but we finally finished it and the ending was SO WORTH the struggle. This is probably our favorite ending to a Glitch Game. We should note there were some audio issues to our game (we only know they were a problem bc we were using a walk through guide that told us what we were supposed to be hearing). As usual, we thoroughly enjoyed the Glitch humor and this one has a few light jump scares that we enjoyed. Again: BEST ENDING EVER.

Love all of glitches games. You won't be disappointed with this one .. Keep them coming.

This game actually kind of freaked us out a bit. The sound effects were great. Wish it was longer.

This game is super creepy. The music is great! We also liked the different-ness of the inventory and the camera mechanic. Best of all the story is intriguing and the ending. HOLY CRAP! Despite all that though we still wish it was a longer game. Still well worth the price though.

Loved the fun and challenging puzzles! The best horror game we've played in a while!! With NO jump scares!!! So great.

We love everything that Glitch Games puts out, and this is not exception. We didn't think the inventory wheel was an improvement, but we liked that the story was more central and obvious than the longer Forever Lost games. Of course, not every game they put out can be hours long, but we definitely enjoyed the two hours we spent on this one.

Game was short, but quite fun. We were seriously creeped out by it (which we like), and we disagree with many of the reviewers who did not like the ending. We thought it was great and very fitting. The puzzles made sense, but also made us think. Love Glitch Games! Thanks for another good one.
