Been playing this game for years now – still one of our fav. Really hope you guys make a new one.
We remember playing this game so many years ago as a kid. Even as an adult now, its still actually kinda scary. The fact that you cant move and have so many zombies closing in on you is a pretty anxiety inducing set up. The graphics being so low res makes it feel unsettling too, theres something weirdly creepy about seeing distorted faces approaching you. Every game in 2025 feels like its meant to be overly flashy and attention grabbing so that you spend money on it; this game is a refreshing look into the past when games focused more on actually being scary, and they werent trying to milk you out of every dollar you can give. Its worth spending the 99 cents to play this just for the vibes.
We remember playing this when we were a kid, now Im beating it and its really cool to know the rest of the story we never got to see! We think may be almost through the story, we wish we could play the second one two.
One of our favorite iOS games ever!!! With a really good storyline too. Still after about 15 years this game holds up extremely well. No ads no micro transactions just gaming.

We always come back to this game every couple years and we remember playing this when it was first released back when we were in high school, great story and the gameplay is so nostalgic, we love that you guys keep it updated so it works on newer versions, this is one of the only games that we played back in the day that kept software up to date and we can still play, thanks.

Still one of our favorites. Its crazy this game doesnt get more recognition. We get addicted every few years then play through the whole story in a night.
Good but we want ny zombies 2 back on apple.
We noticed many people are not happy how you cant move and the graphics. To be honest, we thought thats what made the game unique. Being stuck in one spot while zombies approach you, plus with the soundtrack, makes it more tense and creepy. It also gives a bit of a challenge. Now the graphics couldve done better, but it was 2010 when it released and graphics werent super amazing and the standards were not as high as they are today, but for us at least, it gives a nostalgic feeling. This was just our opinion on the complaints people had and overall we thought this game was amazing, fun, and like no usual zombie shooter.
Has been a favorite of ours since we got our first touch screen iPod in 2010/2011. Even though there are games with better graphics, Ill always come back to N.Y.Z.
This game is legit so fun to play, we'll admit the graphics have aged quite a bit but to us graphics don't really matter. This game is worth the money.
This game is amazing this is how the game is you go on a level you pick your weapons and head out when your killing zombies you haft to touch the screen. You get to fight all types of zombies. We rate this game 5 out of 5 trust us thats how good this game is. One problem can the creators of this game can you make it where you can walk around and also can you add more blood when you bust a zombies head off. Other than that this game is very good. Buy this game now.

A played this way when it first released and we couldnt begin to describe the sense of dread and horror we felt on our first playthrough. The soundtrack and sound design pull you in for a charming and spooky experience. In a world full of easily monetizeable garbage, NYZ flicks the middle finger and tells the player that everything you own in the game is bough VIA the in-game currency. If you so choose to invest yourself into this game, the story opens up via dairy-like excerpts from the main characters point of view as they make themselves through the city. Each weapon and item has its use. From using stronger caliber guns for bigger foes, to saving your Molotov cocktails for crowd control. We heavily recommend this game. Its unlike any ive ever played. And Ill keep coming back to it because theres just nothing like it on the AppStore. Sure the graphics are muddy, but barring that, the muddiness and darkness of the color pallet only makes the game all the more terrifying to play through.
Great game but the only problem is that sometimes when we're in the middle of we level we freeze. It would be helpful if you could fix that glitch.

We played this game a lot in the past and we found out it was updated with 64 bit and was happy and now we're gonna beat the game again please update n.y zombies 2 also that would be great.
We started playing again when it was updated to 64 bit. Game did not update to use the entire screen on iPhone X. We hope N.Y.Z. 2 will be update soon.
Please, make it playable. This shouldnt be the only one able to be played, the other one isnt able to be found (without pulling off App Store glitches, and even then it wont download). Great amazing game, will rate 5 stars easily if updated.

Overlooked game. Really fun and lots of guns. Replay potential is good.
The story is amazing, the gameplay is nerve racking, and the Arsenal of weaponry is awesome. Definitely the best app and best on-rail shooter we've ever played. Highly recommended. Have beat this game around 20 times because we can't get enough <3 N.Y.Z 2 is also amazing <3.

We first played this game on Christmas of 2011. It's so great. Amazing storyline, and gameplay. It makes us wish it was for a game console. N.Y.Z. 2 is equally as awesome. N.Y.Z. 3 must be created.

Endless mode is fun trying to pick the best weapon set.
We've had this game since 2010 or so and we've beaten it a couple times; it's a big favorite! It's a fairly simple game so if you're looking for nice graphics you won't find it here. You're standing in one spot but the angles and scene will change from level to level, as well as the weather and time of day. You'll have a line up of weapons you can use during the match so you do have to be think it out before. There's a nice variety of zombies which is really nice.
