Recent improvements include:
- Supply crates now happen more often but with smaller capacities, in the free-to-play version
- You can now watch an ad to gain a level (once every 6 hours)
- You can now watch an ad to generate X global mod options, instead of three
- You can now watch an ad after dying to retry the wave with an extra supply drop
- Collector equipment no longer supports aiming
- There is now a confirmation window when selling mods
- Fixed a bug where linked Steam accounts couldn't be set to casual difficulty in campaign games
- Fixed a bug where you would sometimes return to Verdentis after beating a mission
- Fixed a bug where sawbot’s blade was not showing up
- Fixed a bug where you couldn’t manually reload when using a controller on mobile
- Fixed numerous bugs when using a controller to build / remove / select blocks with a controller on mobile

Its a solid game. We wish we can get more updates to improve the game.
We wasn't even expecting this game, but they did it again! One of our favorite games on mobile made better.
That game look so cool. We can play this game and shoot some enemies and you will shoot them off. You can see that game looks new and you will play it. Either do we did for this game for the action you can defend it. And play tutorial.
Ignore the extra stuff they added the campaign is like a better version of the first.
The game is pretty good but the game itself is not exceptionally good and would have been 4 star if the was something bad, there is no issues with the game so it gets 5 stars because there is no reason not to.
We always loved this game back when we were a kid and now that Im back Im enjoying it even more hopefully more people can experience this cool game.
This game is amazing so we genuinely cant imagine why you would take so long to make the 2nd game.
This game is very fun for us bc Im familiar with Minecraft and love the aspect of being able to build a base and battle in real time against bots who are surprisingly intuitive. Instead of being a free roam theres a build phase and an action phase each round with spendable resources that can be used to build up your defenses. Solid app worth the download and irl funds to support their innovative efforts towards future game developments. Thank you team.

Either Im blind or its not there, block fortress has been one of our favorite mobile games since day one with the original being a classic great defense strategy mobile game! Just one issue, we dont see anywhere where we can change the mobile control interface, buttons are quite small and movement is difficult having to press small button, so we would like to see an addition to that, overall great game and we can not wait to see future ideas be added on.
Nice upgrade from the first version we wanted this for a long by timmeee.
Lots of fun we just wish there was an option to adjust the size and location of the touchscreen controls.

We love this game its a major improvement over the first however some enemies need to be nerfed 1. Immortals should have a set limit of how many blockoids it spawns at a time and a cool down, often times because they are constantly spawning allies and if they get caught in a situation where everything is focused on them it causes some severe issues with all the rendering needed to be done 2,disintegrators,annihilators and fire bearers should only spawn one at a time same regardless of whether or not the equivalent on a different race is active so when one dies another spawns in after a cool down 3. Jumpers shouldnt be able to jump halfway across the map to your barracks or banner or at least add some sort of anti air weapon or turret to counter them 4.brutes dear god they need to be nerfed it takes forever to kill one to get it to split 5. Have special conditions like fog,pollution,pitch black etc effect enemies and not just the players 6. Make holo guns self heating as well as flamethrowers and melt guns Because holo guns and supposed to be for stealth but they are nullified on artic planets especially when its foggy when they can be crucial 7. Make the targeter mods bypass the effects of fog allowing the respective turret to keep its original range 8. Allow any light blocks and detectors to remove fog in its respective range and help guns see through fog as well 9. Decrease the price needed to upgrade global mods Other than that this game is great.
Like other reviews we think Block Fortress 2 is a level up from the first one. They added more races to the game to defend against. It gains depth with the background stories they created for each race and having to develop different strategies for races and planets is challenging but adds new strategy to the game that wasnt there before. While technically watching the optional ads for materials is unnecessary, it does make the game feel like an impossibly long grind. So we bought the ad free pass and personally we would say its worth it. Some things we would love to see in this game are 1. Having our screen rotate with the gyroscope (in addition to swiping with our finger). If we had the option to look around and aim with the gyroscope gameplay would feel much smoother. Gameloft has done this with some of their games and it makes a big difference. 2. Add a multiplayer option. We would love to play this with our friends or siblings and bring them into playing the game.
The game would be fun but watching 5 minutes worth of ads in between rounds to get your resources is a total game killer.
Its an amazing game but you really need to nerf the disintegrator it is really annoying to fight them cause they mostly spawn at night. It takes so much time to look for them and it is hard to find their lasers. We can handle every other unit but that is really hard.
Bought some block bucks to purchase an item, saw it on the shop as discounted clicked purchased and did not receive the item. The game however did remove the block bucks. Emailed support and have not heard anything back. Other then that decent game.
Imagine a game where your home design is complete with a fireworks display of gunfire. Personally Im making a pyramid of steel armor and guns, that is going to be our home for weeks to come. As we travel to each of the complex planets, burn through their ecosystems, we will ponder the next cool addition to our fortress.
Any chance we can get it like in block war and play the different factions.
Im stuck on a ad where we cant our reward and it feel like the ad frozed on the game and then if we leave to close the page it count as a loss so how is that fair and hey we want to wathc it but yall are making freeze the add their no finish or exit button to when done the ad gfreezes and thanks. Pls fix the update didnt fix it.
We normally dont write reviews, but this game is so addicting and fun! We do wish they add a multiplayer aspect and also maybe even skins for guns or block, such as opening crates to get a chance to obtain limited skins! But this game is really fun and Im going to continue to grind it out.
This is definitely a glow up from the first game. It brings back those childhood memories we had dedicated to the first game. If you loved the first, youre going to love this even more.
Is there going to be multiplayer? Also this is definitely clean game we played the original, definitely a lot of effort put in to this.
Wow! We were a HUGE fan of the original Block fortress game, and we must say, this one really takes what made the last one special and optimized it in almost every way! Everything feels pretty balanced as far as we can tell, and the custom map/mission maker is really cool! The weapon modding system feels really good, the only thing we miss from the first is that when purchased, youre given the choice between 3 random upgrades for various equipment or turrets, and this is a little irritating since we cant pick EXACTLY what mods we want, but its not the end of the world, more of a preference then anything. Other then that, our only other complaint is how expensive the block buks are, since we just dislike in-app purchases in general, but this is not a deal breaker by any means, just an annoying temptation lol. Thanks Foursaken Media for another excellent, and very unique game! Todays App Store market needs more thoughtful games like yours.

Like the original, but taken up a notch! Looks like there is a lot of content to keep us busy.
The game is very fun but it has a frequent issue of freezing.
