This game, along with the other Cradle games, are so much fun to play! As you get deep into the game, it gets much more difficult..but we just keep on playing till our lives run out, then we start a new game, lol. Its a great destresser for us to play this game and zone out for a while.
A nice breath of childhood when we used to play this game at our grandmas computer when we visited her house in the summer, still waiting for cradle of Persia since we thought that one to be the funniest out of them all.

We love this game. A nice match-3 game with power-ups that you earn in the game no having to buy them! You can play as long as you want no running out of lives, come back in a few hours. No intricate, complicated storyline full of quests, just a nice little history lesson if youre so inclined. Love it! Wish they still made games like this.
We have played Cradle of Empires and we enjoy it but it is sooo frustrating! We play Cradle of Rome and enjoy it without the frustration. It challenging but not maddening! We really love it and we play it everyday.
Have been playing this forever!! We always have a game going and play daily. You can take every other game off our iPad but don't touch this one! We've tried your other games but always come quickly back to this one. Thanks for years of entertainment and hopes for many, many more.
This is the most relaxing but fun game we've found online. Not confusing nor hard but challenging.
Our all time favorite! We have played this game over and over for many years. We have reached the end several times and immediately start over. Soothing way to unwind.
This is one of our all time favorite games. Love the challenge, the timers. And the ability to get lives by beating levels. We wish the developers of this game would also fix another favorite Cradle of Persia.
Everything everyone else said PLUS The menu is confusing: it tells you your game is over and you have to go back to the "Beginnings". Luckily, you can keep your silly BUT HARD EARNED villages etc. But you have to pick a Certain button to keep them and just start at the beginning of latest game, NOT THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE STORY. SO IT SEEMS LIKE YOU have to hit continue NOT NEW GAME. YOU SHOULD EXPLAIN EACH OPTION TO PLAYERS. IT's not obvious.
We have extreme ADHD … When there are one or two tiles left to eliminate (so to speak) … There is no way to turn off motion that encircles these remaining tiles … This creates a distraction that drives us crazy. Also, it is unneeded because we're ALWAYS aware where these pieces are … These distractions take the fun out of playing for us. (Carol C … Use our husband's a/c). In addition, if we're looking for the best 3 match move, and don't act within a certain time, we get circular hints … Which we're unable to turn off and which we HATE, another major distraction … Takes the fun of analyzing the best move(s) out of playing.

We love this game! Yes, it's easy, but it is so satisfying to demolish rows of tiles with one well-placed move. The action is smooth, fluid and instantaneous. Thanks for a fun game.

While the game is fun to play, we certainly do not like the idea of being timed to play this game. Why don't you give us the option to play a relaxed version as in Cradle of Egypt, which is more exciting to play right now.
Love awem games, but this particular one has no relaxed mode, so a waste of time and frustration.
This game is a boring disappointment. The free game is much better.
The game is fun to play until you get to the second level. When you get to the next level, it want allow you to go any further.
Too bad we had to buy it to truly enjoy the game.
We never pay for games, but we guess we can't say that anymore. This one got us. Just too fun to give up. It moves fast and we can play for hours if we want to.
The game runs quick and smooth with no lags we've noticed when lots of items are moving down the screen. We especially appreciate that we can make new moves while items continue to fall for our previous move. The graphics are crisp and clear, too.
Just as good as the desktop version with the added benefit of being mobile. We're, also, excited by the built-in links to the iPad Game Center. Challenges and Leaderboards here we come.
We tried this game first; then, decided to buy it, because it seemed like it would gradually get a little more challenging with each level…and it has. We like the challenges, like that there are some bonuses, such as the bombs or stars, which help you out in some tight spots. Also, like building the city, but not having to do a lot of "work" to do that. Overall, fun and challenging. We may be almost done, not sure. But, if that's the case, might like some more free levels added in updates. Thanks for a good game.
Great game but for us "oldies" would love to have a relaxed mode, especially for the last epoch. Can't get beyond Hadrian's statue! Would also like menus re: bonus uses.

This game is just average fun. The puzzles don't vary much from level to level. They are exactly the same puzzles as Cradle of Egypt and Cradle of Rome 2. Good when you just want something to pass the time.
If you're looking for a distraction and want to do something fun this is it. It requires some thought but not a lot of thought. We're now you the end and we've really enjoyed the experience.
We had this game for the Wii system and we loved the game. We were very happy when we found it in the app store, but why does it cost so much?!? We want to get COR 2 but we don't want to spend another $5. We think more people would buy the game if it didn't cost ssooo much.
Changed our rating based on we have to look at this ugly icon on our iPad now :( One of our favorite games, but we really hate the new icon, makes it look like some cheap cheesy game, which it is not please change back, game is otherwise awesome! Fun 3 match game, way better than 'Reign of Rome' was able to finish the game without getting bored, some repetition as some reviewers mentioned, but fun and engaging all the same, please make more games like this! Totally worth the price.
We love this game! We have the game loaded on our iPad, iPhone and also have the wii version. While we do wish there were more levels ; until then we'll just keep playing it over.
Together with Cradle of Rome 2, these are two awesome match 3 games. They're different enough that we play both. For this game, it's very easy to run out of time which loses a "life". On the other the game play itself is somewhat easier, without the Ice levels or dreaded Skull challenges of COR 2.
This is an extremely great game! Demands focus and some strategy.

We love everything about it. We've played through it twice and finished Cradle of Rome 2. New levels would be great.
We play this game most every day. Have not gotten past level 83 but we keep trying. Good match 3 game.
