We have had such an amazing experience playing this game with our brothers. It is hard, but thats just part of the fun. It does have a VERY steep learning curve, so we recommend this to people that are good at strategy games and are up to a challenge.
Our kid generally loves these games but this one for some reason they way overtuned. We had to take over for him and we couldnt do it. Basically forcing you to buy items to get through even on normal really done w the series now.
Arguably the best in the kingdom rush series, we meet again frontiers. Its super balanced with the heroes being cool aswell with the enemies and towers. So much content; however much you spend, its worth it. Thank you kingdom rush.
Why don't you fix the bug?! The shape of the arrow is reversed! Should our archers use the tail of the arrow to attack the enemy?! This bug has not been fixed for 2 years.
Kingdom Rush Frontiers is a great game, as well as a worthy sequel to the legendary Kingdom Rush, but we are disappointed on some aspects of it. We will start with the positives: 1. The heroes are much better in this game then they were in the original. They actually level up and dont reset with each try. Thee are also upgrades for them to strengthen their abilities. Origins further improved this by giving heroes their own Hero Spell, and thus perfected the formula. 2. The gameplay is as great as ever. Fun Easter Eggs can be found in pretty much every level, and the towers offer many play styles. Every tower is amazing if you see their true potential. The voice acting is also nice, but we suggest adding a Mute voices option. It honestly can get very annoying to hear Reinforce! Every time you summon reinforcements. 3. Bosses are much better than the original too. They no longer just walk slowly to the exit; they all have their own abilities to keep you on your toes. Quincon is probably our favorite of them. Leviathan is way too easy though, but thats just a nitpick. Unfortunately, now for the negatives: 1. The difficulty. This is no doubt the hardest game in the series, and we like a good challenge, but WOW. The game starts ramping up when enemies such as Dune Terrors, Giant Scorpions, and Sand Wraiths are added. Their abilities are too dangerous for the early game. Later on, there are enemies that revive others, and even can become invisible! We dont even need to mention the Saurian Deathcoil. There are others too, but thatll take way too long to mention. The stages The Sunken Citadel and Dusk Chateau are pretty much the hardest Kingdom Rush Stages ever. Theyre beatable, but more casual players wont like this very much. We can beat them without losing lives, as well as without using items, but Holy Moly. 2. On the subject of Heroes, some of them are more overpowered than others. Most of them cost money, so we dont use them; we only use the free heroes. Captain Blackthorne and Bonehart are broken. Blackthorne generates lots of extra money when enemies are defeated around him, while Bonehart has an ability that does lots of group damage across an entire path. Watch gameplay and youll see what we mean. Other heroes such as Kahz and Mirage seem too weak. Kahz never stops fighting and thus dies often, while Mirage has weak HP and damage. Perhaps they could be balanced out? This is still a great game though, and we have fun playing, but its our personal least favorite in the series. Tower Defense fans will love it, but casual fans might get turned away by the difficulty.
Unplayable without numerous in-app purchases. Ive played this game multiple times through in multiple different levels, and you can forget about beating it unless you pour a blasphemous amount of gems or real life money into gameplay.

So the game is great it works fine, but there was an issue when we updated the game. For some reason unknown to us it deleted a character we had, kutsao to be specific. We had the same issue on the original kingdom rush game. We dont know if you guys can give it back or something, but if you could that would be greatly appreciated.
Great game awesome heros (even the free ones) great story a few bugs but great. One bug was our game got deleted but after awhile our game for some reason came back. Hope you fix some other bugs. (Ps make Another game please).
Ive loved all the KingdomRush games. Ive played and beaten all of them. Frontiers is probably our personal favorite out of the series (although the original is a close 2nd) The heroes, theyre all really fun to use. Their abilities are interesting and they are strong but not insanely op. Theyre balanced well. The towers are diverse, you can have sneaky assassins who can steal from enemies or tanky and bulky crusaders who can survive mighty blows. You can have a tower with marksmen with crossbows or magical tribesmen. Theres always something different which was so cool! The levels were also pretty darn challenging. We enjoyed figuring out how to beat this darn stage. This series is so much better than all the dumb random ad filled mobile games now. 10/10. One of the greatest games and companys on mobile.
Great game with different mechanics for each level to keep you on your toes. Only complaint is that flying heros (dragon heros) have a terrible time auto attacking. They only attack things directly in front of them, not under, to close, or behind them. It would be nice to have the ability to tell what their range is. Maybe a little indicator of some kind.
Almost identical to the free version only a lot more difficult and must use a lot of diamonds to get through levels. Stick with the free game its better.

Just get it. Its perfect for the iPad and works great with the trackpad.
We are a huge fan of the KR series and this one is definitely our favorite. We do really hope and kind of doubt that they will add any more levels but we really want them to do it. We love all of the music inside of the game and we are always humming them every where. The graphics are really cool in our opinion. The small price is totally worth it and we got hours of fun playing this game. Totally recommended.

This game is fantastic and we really like it, from the different environments to the super cool towers, It really is enjoyable. There are some issues. Just like Origins, the bosses are way too easy in this game. Every boss is super easy to kill (we are having difficulty beating dusk chateau tho) also like origins, there are not enough extra levels after you finish the campaign. Besides these things it is a Nice game which you should totally play.

From its humble beginnings in Flash on Armor Games, Kingdom Rush still holds that same charm that made it so popular to begin with. Superb quality, surprisingly deep story, and challenging gameplay. If you havent played any kingdom rush games before, any of the original three would be fine places to start. Vengeance is a bit different, but still an average game.
We cant get enough of this game. Its fun to watch and fun to play. Im so glad theres more.

The game and gameplay is great, ironhide is one of the best game studios we've ever seen. But we do have one question, whats the difference between frontiers and frontiers HD? We found that a long time ago we bought HD on our old iPad and now we can download it for free, but what's the difference? We wanted to know wether or not we should buy the original frontiers or just keep hd.

This game is very awesome and strategic game. We do think the game can be challenging, but that is a drop of bad in an ocean of awesomeness. We have even seen the newest game vengeance that seems really cool. We really like the idea of equipping 4 out of 16 towers. We already have plans to purchase that when it comes out. The kingdom rush franchise has always been in our [true fans] hearts. However, frontiers need one more mini campaign that takes place in the jungle. Preferably all about the reapers and parasites (or aliens in general).
Use to rate this at 5 stars but they have obviously increased the difficulty a lot. To advance beyond a certain point you will have to make additional purchases where as before you could beat the whole game, at least at the end in casual mode if nothing else. Forget about that or pay out some more money. We beat it twice before and have been trying to again but have hit a wall in the middle. Changed.
We loved this game the graphics are great but it would not let us buy any of the characters.
We love the game but one thing would make it so much better for us. We have created a hero that we think should be added to the game for $69.00. Sulfuria Moist Dilds. A female character with 450 hp and a 19-35 damage output with low armor and a normal respawn time at max level, dual wielding wet vibrating dildos that have animated juices fly off of them when she attacks. Abilities include fart cloud, queef cloud, dilds of fury, mega black dild strike, and menstrual terror. Fart cloud would slow enemies by 30% for 10 seconds with a 10 second recharge. Queef cloud would damage enemies for 25 damage over 4 seconds and enemies killed by queef cloud would explode dealing an additional 25 area damage. This ability has a 15 second cooldown. Dilds of fury allows sulfuria to strike foes 9 times in rapid succession for 12 damage each with a 11 second cooldown. Mega black dild strike gives her the ability to summon a 24 inch black dildo to deal 250 true damage to one target with a 30% chance of instakill with a 25 second cooldown. Menstrual terror makes sulfuria bleed, causing a group of up to 6 enemies to flee back the path in terror with a 14 second cooldown. She also includes a passive ability not in the skill tree that makes her dildos vibrate for 10 seconds after defeating an enemy causing her to deal an extra 30% damage. We know this sounds like a joke but please add this hero to the game it would make our day and you would make at least $69.00.

We loved the original kingdom rush and this is a solid sequel. The gameplay is just what you remember, and the heroes have actually been improved (they actually survive and help). The new hero leveling/upgrading mechanic is an improvement. You get 3 heroes with the game purchase, then have to spend a small fortune to unlock the rest. The storyline isn't as entertaining and witty as the original, but it's still good. The towers looked a lot better in the original, they're kind of cheesy looking in frontiers. Overall it's definitely worth the $5 for the game, but all the money to unlock all the heroes depends how fanatical a kingdom rush follower you are.
This game is much tougher than the original. All the enemies have too much health and have too overpowered abilities (like the cannibalism ability of the savage warrior). You need to nerf some of the enemies.
You get a small number of gimped heroes and they try to charge way too much to purchase the good ones. Lame.
The game is so addictive and its so fun to play it and challenges us.
Best Tower Defense Saga of All Time.
Im not much of a gamer, but we do love the Kingdom Rush series. Ive played through the 3 current titles a few times over the past years and would gladly shell out for a new version (based on the same engine).
We love this game because the designs are awesome and its a strategy game. For anyone who would like it, we suggest you would buy it. = ).
Its a great game and we love it. And it can be really hard sometimes but that just makes it funnier :^).
This game is up there with best tower defense games. Its so entertaining and theres actually a reason to replay levels. The game is also visually pleasing and has a cute but scary design to it… Somehow. Its also hilarious because there are so many references in the game, and if you look hard enough every level has 2 references to something. It would be very interesting if you could make every level endless instead of only the challenge levels. What would be even cooler is a level designer where you could make and share levels with the community. 5 stars 100%.
We have sent a message because we like to listen to audio books or podcasts when playing but for some reason the apps mute music and sounds does not work. Very frustrating since the buttons are there but just dont work. No one responded after contacting app support.
