The vertical resolution of the game (during actual gameplay, not the menu or the level selection map) is a bit larger than the iPad Pro displays capability. This has been present since the game engine update was introduced a good while back. The horizontal fits exactly, but the vertical is a bit taller than the res. Of the iPad and it occasionally moves the whole game field (up or down) when we tap (to build or upgrade) a tower. That is a huge annoyance, and it wasnt like this before the game engine update. Can the devs not find a way to fix the vertical res. To match that of the iPads display? The other two games in the series that we have (KR HD, KRF HD) do not exhibit this problem/flaw. Still hoping this gets corrected at some point.
At level 25 the "Reward Ads" stopped working, so we reported it to Ironhide support. They said it could be a while before its fixed, so they gave us a code for some gems as a consolation. Great ! The gems it turned out are for a different game, which if you download it requires releasing even more data permissions including your birthdate. This appears to be a scam where they hook the customer with a fun game, break it, then get the customer to download an alternate app that grabs their data.
We’ve had Origins for quite a while now along with a paid-for hero. We hadnt played the game for a while and decided to dust it off and start a new game on it. Alas, we cant access the hero we paid for all those months ago! We can assign training to it but cant use it. We have hit restore several times but still, days later, we cant access it. So, be warned when you buy a hero or maybe even towers if you get their later games of the same genre. ALSO, every single time we go back to the game, we have to input our birthday! Every. Time. There just seems to be more bugs after all their updates than when they started with the game.
This is by far our favorite one second is vengeance but this one tells the story before the original, although it does take a decent bit to download otherwise, AMAZING.

We love playing this game we have been playing it for a couple years now but the new update has taken away the high definition graphics and reverted to the original version we tried deleting and reinstalling it but it didnt work we are positive the recent update was responsible we hope that the developers fix the issue with it please give us HD graphics again hope someone reads this and does something about it thank you for reading!
One small issue is the strategy is a bit hard to figure out. The ability of each towers upgraded form isnt very well explained and hard to prioritize / compare. But it is still extremely fun and very much an excellent game!
Buy all the kingdom rush series!
We’ve been playing this game for a few days and really enjoyed it. It doesnt require money to win and is very fun definitely should get it if your a fan of td games.
We have same Apple ID and Game Center ID’s on our iPhone 11 and iPad 2, but yet when we paid and downloaded on our iPhone (and saved progress to iCloud), the game app never did copy over to our synced iPad. We had to pay for app on each device! :(. …. And now only use the iPad since our progress in game doesn’t sync up with iPhone, like literally every other app. Frustrating. Docked 2 stars just for this issue. Fun game otherwise.
This game is awesome and has great locations and enemies. We are however disappointed by how easy the bosses were. (Besides Godieth and bram.) also, the side quests after finishing the campaign were lacking. Great game nonetheless, we would recommend it.

This is a very high quality TD game. This game challenges your strategy abilities by sending a very wide array of enemies at you with different gimmicks that you have to account for when you build your tower defense. We would recommend this game to anyone.
A great sequel with a unique turn on the classic Kingdom Rush formula.
We highly recommend just leveling Eridan until the full hero pack offer ($15) pops up. Its the best buy and totally worth it. This is the 3rd we’ve played in the series and they just keep getting better. Im very pleased with the UI changes. Im obsessed with tower defense in general, and this series is by and far the best the genre has to offer; the rest of TD on the App Store are mostly shady, ad-laden, pay-to-progress Chinese imitators of this series. The art and maps are beautiful and engaging. As with previous installments, there are Easter eggs and achievements scattered throughout. Frikken love this series. <3.

We have to say, this is not our favorite one, but we still really like it out of the KR series! This game really sticks to one main story line and really focuses on the conflict between the dark elves and the good guys. Our main concern about this is that they dont introduce a lot of new enemies, they just focus on all of the dark elf variants. A small thing that we happily noticed is that they finally added the special mini bosses in the endless modes to the enemy encyclopedia. We love how they put in little details that let you build the history of kingdom rush, it really immerses us a lot more.
It looks interesting but we cant figure out how to build a tower. We have gold and it lets us position tower but it wont build anything. Needs a basic tutorial.
No updates for characters or increased levels has happened which really bugs us! Because it makes the game less enjoyable and then begins to die out and become less popular. Our advise to kingdom rush is to be more creative and active!!! Thank you.

Very clever design, entertaining, great graphics. Most of the levels are challenging but fun. Unfortunately, they drop into the play-to-win model at the later stages, teeing up levels that are impossible to beat without spending cash. Im ok with that for a free game, but for one that charges to download, they automatically lose two stars.
There are three kingdom rush games. The first was the core and solid part of the series. The second was possibly the best one, where they refined everything and made an already awesome game into tons of fun. The third (this one) is the one where they experimented. No its not the best in the series, but it definitely took Kingdom Rush to new places. If we had to complain about it, we would complain about the soldiers. We know elves arent always strong, but even with medium armor, the soldiers die way too quickly. This extends down into the Bladesinger hall. Those guys are completely worthless because they die at incredibly quick speeds. The only soldiers worth investing in are the Forest Guardians with decent survivability. This is a really fun game, and we would recommend taking time to complete it. KR devs, if you are listening, please tweak it a little. It would be understandable if you dont, but please make the soldiers just a little more dependable. Thank you Ironhide Team.
While we’ve enjoyed all of them so far, Origins is our favorite. We love the setting, the characters, the overall challenge, and balance. We will undoubtedly continue to sink time into this wonderfully crafted game!

It feels different with having infantry with swords and bows that can take out flying enemies. The other games were just mostly infantry without ranged attacks.
Really fun. Provides a welcome challenge as the levels get harder, but more fun each time.

Love it just like the og kr, frontiers, and now vengeance. These games can be casual fun or a brutal challenge if you choose it. Wonderful. Always be a fan of this amazing series.
This is a great game but on all the other gamesAND THIS ONE we AM STUCK ON ONE LEVEL IT IS SO ANNOYING… But honestly we like all of the games every time this rating thing pops up we try too give it a good review.

Bram literally just walks to your point and kill you a huge flaw in the design.
We have been a fan of the kingdom rush games for years and this one does not disappoint. The towers, heros, and enemies are all creative and fun. The levels are well designed and allow for many different strategies and always fun to replay. We cant say enough good things about the games ironhide produces.
This is simply the best tower defense app on the market. We’ve played MANY, and definitely all the most popular, and nothing else comes close. The other games in the Kingdom Rush series are also very very good and stand above the competition, but this is our favorite of them all.

Another great game in the Kingdom Rush series. We like tower defense games and these are the best imho. Like usual, it has a nice story, challenging levels that get you experimenting with tactics and interesting heroes that alter your approach and keep it fresh. The heroes are pricey so we wait until they go on a good sale before we buy any of the optional ones.
