This game is not being updated.
Sound for the letters does not work. The game keeps dropping out. The time on the games is not stopping or correct. The game hesitates a lot.
Just down loaded new update on 1/14/18, they took ALL our credits away. Also, the keyboard has been enlarged too big and when when you complete a word, they dont give you credits anymore! Keeps knocking us offline! Beware dont download this game.

Very enjoyable game. Sometimes shuts down which is a problem.
When the Google phone video plays, the app freezes up and must be re-booted. Other than that, this app is great.
New version is lots of fun and very challenging. We like all the changes. Only flaw is it locks sometimes when we play a video to reveal 10 letters.
The new update makes it so that when you click 'next,' it jumps around sporadically. You don't earn as many coins in this version, and they did away with the daily bonus.

We love crossword puzzles, and we've downloaded a few. This one is by far a great game, it's just like doing a paper puzzle but better. We love it.
We like to play, but sometimes the clues are British-related and we won't guess them correctly unless we think like an Englishman! Good guess, gov'na.
Leader board not updating since November.
This app is fun. We love the web search option within the game if you are stuck. However, we got the clue small cake, 7 letters. We did a web search and after going to several different sites, we finally gave in and "bought" a couple letters to discover the answer was biscuit! Really that is no cake we ever saw.
We liked the old version better! At least we could tell what game we were playing. Lousiest background ever.
We like these crossword games, but we paid $19.99 for the ad-removal feature several months ago.. The ads were removed but it also distorted the display so badly we were unable to continue to use the app. We wrote Boathouse Games on two separate occasions and have yet to receive a response to our emails.
Great game except when the videos don't work which is quite often. Who wants to watch a 6 minute video.
We like this app would recommend to everyone who like crosswords and wants to challenge their brains.
It's an ok puzzle game. Sometimes the clues aren't very good and that can be annoying.
It's pretty fun to play but don't always get the rewards after watching the videos.
We love this game. The only problem we had was we bought 5000 coins and was suppose to get 20,000 extra and didn't get them. Otherwise very good game.
What's really annoying is that there are a few players who ALWAYS WIN no matter who is playing against them! What's up with that and what are the mathematical odds of this even happening every time??? Thanks Bozenann and a few others. Takes the fun out of the game. Just sayin.
Since the update on 12/18/14 we can't open the game. Please fix it before we delete it. This is our favorite crossword game.
Game has gotten better, however, it stops loading for whatever reason and goes back to our home screen. So, MAYBE we can play for a day or so, but then it won't load the next day. So we have deleted it.
We love this game and the panicked rush to complete the puzzle fastest.

This game is fun and easily mastered, not too hard and not too easy.
We think this crossword puzzle is the best we have found out of all the searches of crossword puzzle's.
We wasn't decided about this app right at first. But after giving it a second chance, we really enjoy working the puzzles on this! We like that we have the option of either trying to think of the correct answers without buying a letter….great app.
It's challenging and we enjoy playing…we only wish that letters would stay on the puzzle even if the word is wrong. It would help in solving :).

It's a nice app and crossword but takes a little getting used to the way it's set up, otherwise it's fun.
This is a game our wife and we enjoy. We frequently play together. However, since updating our iPad to iOS 8, our progress disappears every time we leave the game. Forces you to finish in one go.
When we first got this, we would have given it 5 stars but for some "very irritating" reason, any time we stop a puzzle, be it 3 minutes or 3 days, every answer we filled in prior, ARE GONE… So that means goin back from the start all over again. Nahhhh,… What a hassle besides a bore. If it doesnt get fixed soon, we'll just delete the app. Too bad, cuz we actually enjoyed it.
Ever since we updated our iPad to iOS8. We cannot go back into a game and play a word. The Game crashes after every move. Very frustrating….. Please fix.
The puzzles are pretty good, and the app is solid. We do have a few problems, however: The clues aren't always the best, some are far reaches for the word. If you are absolutely stuck, there is no way to find the answer. At least in the printed versions you can always check the next day. Here, we had one word left, and the clue was too vague for an answer. In exasperation we even tried one of the online solvers, they came up with hundreds of possibilities. There should be a way, near the end of the game, to just say "we give up, what are the remaining answers?" After using it for a while, rather than purchasing it we decided to delete it. Every time you leave to do something else, like handle emails, when you go back in it checks for updates, then takes you to the menu, where you have to do all the steps to get back into the puzzle. Too much of a hassle, we'll look for a different app.
Easily played crossword. When you figure out a word, the letters animate and shower down points. You compete with high scoring players in cyberspace. If you are stuck, you can play a brief ad, usually an entertaining look at another app, for hints. We like it.
How come we don't receive the coins when we "place" in a multiplayer game? Or we don't earn coins when we should be getting them, it's weird.
We like how the puzzles aren't as easy as most apps.
It's a pretty good crossword app. You earn points for correct answers and it makes you think some of the answers are not so obvious despite the clue.
