Reviews:
“Buy it for an unforgettable taste of bona fide battlefield chaos. Buy it for the edginess it engenders so effortlessly. Buy it for those dry-lipped “Say again?”s that never get answered.”
Rock Paper Shotgun

“In many ways, I’d say Radio Commander is one of the most immersive games I’ve played in 2019.”
Wargamer

“As you get wrapped up in the story, the outcome of missions becomes incredibly tense. I can’t remember a simple “move” order in a strategy game ever being so heart-wrenching, as you sit idly by for minutes at a time (you can speed things up with a timelapse clock, though), waiting to hear back from units, or order a platoon into combat only to be met with silence.”

Radio Commander Reviews

We were commanding a unit to defend a hilltop. There was no escape, they had to defend it until the last man. It got to a point where over 500 enemies were almost on top of our guys. Had to call in artillery and napalm. After about 30 minutes of playing the game, we had to put our own men at risk to beat the enemy. We heard the pilot say that he had dropped the napalm, and then the radio from the infantry went silent. 10/10 emotional rollercoaster.

The most realistic military game out there, if you think Call of Duty is a realistic military game then youre dead wrong. In Call of Duty you can take 10 shots like its nothing, in Radio Commander you sit in a chair operating the radio – commanding your troops. Its perfect, its the best military – strategy game out there. We were originally going to purchase this on PC until we realized its out in mobile, now its the only game we have on our phone, its perfect!

First of all you DO NOT have to use your own voice to command your troops or control the game. The game is fully playable with the game doing the conversations for multiple units and the commander in the game. The first review which gave the game one star was poorly written. We wasnt bored at all playing Radio Commander. After reading the first 1 star review we decided to do some research. On Steam its got over 700 plus reviews and the game is rated: Very Positive. Yes there is mature language so what? Its no different that any movie thats available today on tv. You are commanding your troops from back at your base. You move little token(s) on a map directing them where you want them to go, but you dont actually make them go there. Your troops get to where you ask them to go the best way they can. You can speed up the clock but remember your troops will make it to were they are going in due time. Your units and you converse back and forth throughout each mission as you take on various objectives. We think the voices overs used are well done and we didnt have a problem with them. Youll send your troops on various missions and try to keep them alive with your decisions. Like real life the wrong decision can and will cost lives. Are you prepared to live with your choices? Its a strategy game its not speed chess. You have to imagine that your missions are playing out over time. All you can try to do is what youve been assigned to do with the men under your command. War can be harsh, and lives are lost with wrong decisions. Radio Commander puts you back at your base as you direct your men from afar. Can you live with the outcome? The tutorial could have been a little more intuitive, but we figured everything out before the first mission was even half way done. A double tap here or a swipe there is all you need. Very fun.

This is a very good game every choice matters big and small it will change the out come of the game but remember this is supposed to be a simulation and war is never fair Im very glad this game was made our grand father actually served in the 82 airborne division 173 air cav in Vietnam the few storys he was willing to share make the events in the game pale in comparison Heres something you should do thank a veteran for their Service All the ww2 vets are almost gone then it will be the Korean vets turn then the Vietnam vets and so on Youll never get another chance to we promise you that.

The game is one of a kind. The feeling of dread when you napalm your own men, or when The radio goes silent and there no response. Truly for the history buffs.

Great game, wish there was a thing where you could change the difficulty.

English is not our first language. Can you add more languages to the game?

We really love the idea of this game, but Im struggling to get the helicopters to move where or when we want them. The attack helicopters have been getting lower and lower on fuel and have been out of munitions for awhile, but we cannot get them to retreat or return to base! Plus we have to occasionally restart the game when no units will respond to report commands.

This games is super good but there are some problems when you go quick battle it does not show the enemy that are right in your face we can play if we cant know were our enemys are and the units when we move them they dont even move and when they do it so slow and when we speed up time nothing works and the evac helicopter when we tried to collect theWounded it did not allow us and this would be five stars but the bugs are super annoying.

First of all, this is an excellent new concept of a game. Next, the interface needs to be made separate from the map to the black command/report options at the bottom of the screen because when we touch the bottom interface we can see the X on the map being moved. These need to be made separate. When we touch the map then we should be touching the map. When we touch the black command screens below then we should only be touching those screens. Then, and this is VERY annoying, whenever we’re moving our unit marker on the map and it takes us a few moments to place it properly our keyboard pops up and the ability to rename the unit is activated. This REALLY needs to change because that stops everything dead when we’re trying to just keep track of where on the map our units are. Not sure when’s the last time there was an update but this game needs one ASAP. It’s very close to being a 5 star game.
