Should allow chat during games not only when invited friends are playing.
Great site. We especially like the compete platform. Where you never play in a game with a bit, can chat freely and you compete for points.

We have mostly left spades plus due to so much cheating, idiotic rules & better deals going to who spends the most money. This has good/fair deals &seams to have very little cheating.
We love that it has video chat while playing. Its great for our family and we when we are not in close proximity.

We have been playing spades for as long as we can remember. Playing on Trickster can be a lot of fun and frustrating at the same time. While they are constantly making improvements and adjusting the "computer" players actions, your ratings can plummet because of their programming. Overall, it is a good representation of real life spades.
Definitely the best spades app by far, wish they were more generous on chips but outside of that it is amazing.
These boys play like trash, over bidding and then throwing off when we havent made our books?! Some games it seems theyre constantly trying to bag the other team, meanwhile were getting set. Otherwise great app! OH and have an option for he first hand to bid itself!!
Need ability to deal new cards in Join mode if all players agree. Also, no 4 minimum if bidding nil. Other than that, a very good app.
Straight forward. Does everything its supposed to well with multiple game options. Lacking detailed graphics.
When there are actually four live players (no automated fill-ins), the game is often extremely slow, and then when it catches up, you have lost your turn because of the delay and the computer plays for you. Its infuriating. Cant count the number of games where all the players are expressing the Sleepy ZZ emoji because this delay is happening to all players. No fun when this happens, and it happens often.
The UI of this game is hands down the best and cleanest designed we’ve seen, however, as others have commented, the bots are absolutely atrocious. It’s almost like the computer player was designed es to troll the human players. Bids of 1 when it can go nil, not cutting the opponent to set them back, etc… If the devs could improve the computer play, this would easily be a five star game. We give it a three purely in the sleek interface and ease of use.
The game is good when it works. The app now just gives us an error message saying it is unable to connect and to double check our connection (it is strong). There is no other option or troubleshooting suggestions.
When an opponent leaves you shouldnt have to lose chips if you lose to the AI.
Used to be a good app but it has gotten too slow. No fun sitting around waiting for someone else to bid or play a card or waiting for the app to let us play a card.
We kept getting a notification to update this using the trickster app. Then today we attempted to play and an ad popped up and wouldnt close. Useless!
Both the AI and the randomization are so bad that this game is unplayable. The interface is good and there is plenty of traffic, so if the AI were decent it would be solid. Unfortunately, that just isnt the case. Also, the block feature doesnt work correctly so you cant block awful people from playing with you again. Overall, it was a horrible experience and a complete waste of time.
The computer will literally lose the games on purpose. Several games the computer will throw off when they for sure have the book, and lose the game.
Everything is gone and we have to keep signing in every after having everything saved. We actually purchased whatever some years ago and its gone. Disappointed.
First of all, the ai player will bid 1 instead of nil with a 2 card pass, then fail its bid because it should have been nil in the first place. If thats not bad enough, it purposely does not take tricks to cut out the other team when it easily could. Again failing its bid. If it doesnt fail its bid, it takes all the bags. You cant win ever if you are stuck with the ai player as your partner. We just cant believe its this bad. WHY DOES A TIE COUNT AS A LOSSALSO, why arent players blocked permanently? If we’ve blocked someone, theres a good reason, and we shouldnt have to play with them again.
The game developer/management focused to much on bells and whistles and too little on integrity. Youll never see another dollar of our money. Its a shame, it used to be a good simple site. Poor return on investment.
