Community Insight:
Love the theme-no monsters and damsels in distress. Mini puzzles challenging but doable and we dont think there was even one of those drat, annoying, rotational games. The music was good. Graphics good. The only thing we would change is more info on what is needed at some active sites. Just asking what can we do here isnt always enough. Thats a minor complaint and Ill be looking for more Mad Head games.
We love hidden object games but mostly find the stories inane and irritating. This is our second Cadenza game and we are loving the whole production … The music, the visuals, the games … All far superior to any we have played recently. We plan to go through the whole series and hope they are constructing more at lightning speed.
We love all of the games. Cadenza really makes us feel as if we are in the game. Music and graphics are superb. And the mysteries are fun too. We hope more are in the development.

Our favorite, It was so refreshing to see an interactive app such as this it held us mesmerized. The jazz was also so cool. We can't wait for the next release of Cadenza series.

Not your average Hidden Object game – several steps involved. Music changes is very diverse and really good!!! Great graphics! Awesome game.
This was a fun game with a good story line, great music and a nice variety of mini games. We would recommend this for a long play, decent length bonus round, good map and hints. There was a good story that made sense and was fun to listen to and play. We don't write many reviews but when it's really good enough to, we do. This is a winner! Looking forward to a sequel.
This has it all! Can't wait till the next game in what we hope will be a long series. The music was great-actually kept it on- and it's stayed in our head. LOL Stanley Roper!?! Lots of creative extras after the game.
Blue Sky!!!!! This is a very entertaining and SUPERB game. The graphics, story, gameplay and music are all superb. Many interesting and different games. Liked the lady with the southern drawl. Game played out almost as a movie, with music to fit the game. A long game. Excellent.
Love the New Orleans background, the puzzles the different story. Mad head is now our favorite developer. More games please.

We have played a lot of these games. This had a good plot, good art, good animation and a great music score. We are excited about the sequel.
This is a great game, set in New Orleans and a murder mystery revolving around the New Orleans jazz scene. Long game play and different, original HO scenes/mini games (our fav was searching an old sailor's back tattoos for a safe code). Music notes are collected in every scene and many are quite challenging to find. The story focuses on the rise and fall of a former New Orleans jazz band but some of the other characters you will encounter during the game include a voodoo shop owner, a noir gumshoe detective, a crusty old sailor and a gruff taxi driver. Enjoy.
Interesting game with VERY unique puzzles. Some of the best we've seen. One downfall is during some puzzles we can tap and tap and tap and the item won't MOVE. Very frustrating, but overall a good storyline, nice Jazz in the background and super puzzles that are good enough to keep our focus.
Plot is a bit complex, but everything works the way it should and there are lots of interesting effects.
Best, most imaginative game we've played in quite a while. Was yawning with the same old offerings, same formulas til Cadenza. Lots of varied HOS & games keep you interested and on your toes, all the bells & whistles and collectibles. Engrossing, coherent story line, beautiful graphics-loved this game! Only odd moment-frantically trying to settle down objects in the zeppelin cockpit(?) Highly recommend this one-you won't be sorry! Bravo.
One of the best HOGs we've played in a long time. Storyline, graphics, voiceovers were all top notch, and it has the best music we've ever heard in a game. Plus a story revolving around African American characters – it's about time! And the mini-games were terrific. We'll be keeping an eye out for Mad Head games from here on out.
This is by far the best game put out by big fish. It is also the most original game. We can't wait for the second installment. This is the only game we have bought before trying and didn't regret it. Love the premise, the graphics and the music.
We really enjoyed this game. Loved the setting and story. We think this is the first racially diverse HOG we've ever played also. Glad Mad Head brought us into the 21st century! Also loved the completely new approach to HOGs. In some you are both finding and matching items in the same mini game. Loved the new map challenge in the detective's office. We also loved going through the extras section after the bonus game and finding additional games (jigsaw puzzle to put the instrument repair shop back together and the cutscenes that accompanied it upon completion.)The game shows a lot of original thought and creativity. Great job.
We really, really enjoyed this game! Loved the music too! Hubby would often find us bopping our head along to the music, or even humming with it. LOOOOONG playing game which is fantastic. It's rare to find games so worth the money spent – long playing, interesting story line, and not wanting to put it down. Good job! The extra play was neat too.
Great game that offers a refreshing change from the more typical HO Adventures. Film noir sensibility with that deliciously unique New Orleans flavor. It's even got the gris gris. Soundtrack is all jazz. Smooth controls. Bonus points for cultural diversity. Nicely done.

Love the music…..New Orleans Jazz Scene…. So much better than the constant dragon fantasy related hidden objects!……Bring on more HO in a similar setting that takes place in other states not fantasy land…….Beautiful graphics……Purchased right away and did not regret it.
By far, this is one of the best HOG we've played. We've been playing these categories of games for over 10 yrs and have never rated a game with 5 stars. Bring on part 2!!! Please and hurry.
Love this game. The graphics were good. The story was interesting. Long playing. Great min games. Wonderful bonus chapter. Love The bright colors for a change . Got a little glitzy in the tapping towards the end but we could still finish the game. Definitely worth the money.

This was one of the most enjoyable games we've played in a while. We LOVE the music! The characters were so interesting and well-developed. The voices were diverse and having the different ethnicities and cultures in the storyline was excellent! The puzzles were all fun and challenging and looking for the notes, morphing objects was great with the bonus of being able to find the ones we missed in the extras which is something all games should include. The bonus activities kept the continuity of the storyline and capped off the perfect game. Not to mention it was wonderfully long and we never wanted to hurry it along. Bravo.

Wow what a breath of fresh air, we play a lot of these type of games and after awhile they all play the same, this game is really unique. Great music, history of New Orleans and interesting puzzles, the hidden object portion also really different and fun, cool graphics we really hope there are more games to come.
This game is perfect- it has everything a hidden object mystery game should have: a fantastic, interesting story, crisp beautiful graphics, great voice acting, a teleporting map, HO scenes that are different and not boring. We never write reviews, and we've had problems with big fish games in the past. Lately we find the quality of games they release to be subpar. But this one is wonderful, and it's a must play.
…this game was amazing! We loved the music, good story, and the games weren't the same ole same ole. It ended too soon! Loved it.
Good graphics, interesting story line. The variations on the HOS scenes kept us interested throughout the game. The only negative was not knowing that sometimes you slid between scenes instead of clicking or teleporting.
We have played many many hidden object games with Big Fish. We like the fact that you can create your own difficulty level. Not many games have this option but this one does. There are 3 levels to choose from, then there is an option that you can customize your own difficulty level.
We are not a person to rave, but there is nothing about this game we didn't like, from the music (which we ALWAYS end up turning off, but not this time), to the storyline, to the twist on the HOS and puzzles, to the details the developers included in the game, including the ability to tell at a glance whether or not you have located the hidden musical note in each scene. This game had everything we look for in a game, plus a lot more! And am we the only one who totally loved the fact that the landlord's name in the bonus round is "Stanley Roper"? The few minor annoyances are virtually of no consequence, so we won't bother to mention them! Kudos to the developers and Big Fish for a clever and witty, beautiful game. This was the most fun we have had in a long time playing one of these games, and we have played hundreds of them.
No crashes–didn't have to delete game and reload once. Great story line–loved this game.
Love this game & it's set in our favorite city, New Orleans. We purchased quickly & believe us we play a lot of HOA games, but lately we haven't found one that kept us interested since they all seemed to be the same game. The graphics are great with nice voice overs & plays smoothly on our iPad. We also like that the HOAs are different than the usual type. There's a unique map to help & there's no huge delays when going from place to place. Definitely worth the sale price.

This game has it all!!! Absolutely gorgeous graphics and interactive map, there are so many unique Minigames throughout. Love the music and New Orleans themes. The story is great, well built – this is seriously the best HOP game ever made. Fabulous job Mad Head and Big Fish!!!! Played the whole game so far and it took us 6 hrs and we can't wait to play it again.
One of the best big fish games in a while. A couple of the puzzles are over simple, but for the most part the games and challenges are more original than usual. It's nice to play one where they mix things up a bit.

The puzzles and the overall way that this game was put together is Outstanding!!! We Loved every minute, in fact did not want it to end. Please release more games of this caliber! We love that it so different. Like the way the HO's work like the story line we like how you interact with the characters we love that it is in New Orleans Great job.
It is so refreshing to be in a jazz-oriented New Orleans instead of a mythical world of dragons, fairies, elves and other mythical creatures. The voiceovers are terrific, the storyline is interesting and makes sense, and the puzzles are creative and different. We also really like the musical theme that underlies the entire game. Really unique. We're enjoying this.
So far so good. The hop are different and great.
