It is hard but at the same time its fun and good Who ever likes hard puzzles With a story this is the game for you. Its weird, but we like it and we think you will to and surprisingly we are a 10 years old.

Love it so much, super fun amazing ending and for the people who cant get the bird you need to break the window with the axe and make sure you play music (turn the nob 3 times) in winter.
First of all, for the reader, this is an amazing game and we love it. Download it, Im pretty sure the problem we have is just a glitch or smth but thats why Im writing this review so yeah, we love this game, its fun and super interactive. (Spoilers) For the developer: the bird is outside the window in the winter season, Ive already gone back and finished all the past things in other seasons but we cant click on the bird in the winter to get the flower, we were wondering if that was really what we were supposed to do bc it didnt work, so we looked on the walkthrough thing on Safari, and that said to click on the bird to get the flower. Maybe it isnt a glitch and we missed something, but if you know whats going on please let us know. Thanks so much for this game and for taking the time to read our review! As soon as we get the bird thing figured out Im downloading the next one! Thanks again Edit: so we just read a couple more reviews and this looks like its not just a us problem. Can we pleassse fix this???? We love these games but we dont really want to restart to get the bird to come to the window alright we just restarted it and caught ourselves back up but we still cant press on the bird, what do we do.
We have played a lot of escape games! This one is the best most of the games we play after a little bit they make you pay for the next episode. This game is not like that. This game is truly just for fun. Its amazing the story is amazing. Ive even had one time where we downloaded a game and it gave us a virus on our phone and escape game. This game is truly the best! We did it with the walk-through and it was so fun! Definitely not for kids though 11 under but definitely an amazing game. Beautiful art. Its a really fun and unique challenges to peace the story together. Im so excited to play the other episodes. Im downloading them right now. 10/10 very smooth. Sometimes we thought there was a glitch, but we just went on the steam community and asked for some help and it wasnt a glitch we just sum wrong! This game is a hit and its free which is crazy. We definitely think they could get away with making it cost money and still be successful but Im glad its available for everyone.

We dont know why its free? So for support we purchased all of their products and they totally worth it. If you enjoy logic puzzles with an extremely genuine story line, you have to try it and Im sure you will also download the whole series.

We personally love puzzle and horror games. This game was one of a kind game. Tho more hints will help. We got stuck in flower drink, and we couldnt solve it. So we searched online. Its a amazing game with deep meanings and amazing puzzles. Definitely recommend and worth our time.

Really amazing game, Ive recently started playing the cube escape series and we love all the games. However, we had almost finished this one, but couldnt get the last fuel, and didnt know why. We looked online for a walkthrough, resetted our progress and followed it exactly, but the bird didnt return to the window. We read other reviews and saw that others have had this issue too. It would be five stars if not for the bug.
We have been a huge fan of rusty lake games for a very long time, and we always come back to play them again every one in a while. Two things that we dont like about this game: one, the clock. SPOILER, theres a part in this game where you need to set the clock to different times and the clock itself is just so small that it takes forever to set it right. One wrong click, and you move the minutes to much that you have to do it all over again and its very tedious. Two, theres this glitch where even if you do everything right the bird will not come to the window to give you a flower that you need, and without that flower you cant move on in the game so youre just stuck. We had to eventually re-set the game and play it all over again just to get the bird to the window. Reading other reviews, this seems like an ongoing issue from like 5 years ago which we dont understand why this bug isnt fixed yet.
We cant activate the cube in the second season. We put it in the wall, completed the photo, but it wont activate.
Another awesome Rusty Lake adventure! Thank you for making them inventive, dark, addictive, and entertaining. When we start one, we cant put it down until we finish. Im glad you have the you tube walk throughs, though we try not to use them, you do get stuck sometimes. We prefer logic t o trial and error and most of the puzzles can be logicd. Thank you, we cant wait for another one. We wish you would do more after quests, like in roots, we really enjoyed going back for more.

Still am unable to believe this is free…did have to consult AppUnwrapper…No way we would have solved this all without help…So excited to try Cube Escape: The Lake next! Highly recommend! Gen Xer so looking forward to any game with a Twin Peaks vibe…As Laura Palmer said, we Feel Like Im Going to Dream Tonight.
Ive actually played these a bit out of order because we found them in 2021, and so this original one is not the first that comes up in searches anymore. The game play seems to get better and better, though we do highly recommend starting with this one if you havent already played the other Rusty Lake cube escape games. The interactivity is slightly limited on this game vs the newer ones, so we found it easier to navigate and learn the style of game play. Great game.
We've played most of the big titles in the escape/adventure genre and looking for a new twist on the genre This game certainly fit the bill and we have to applaud the developers for such tight, well thought out execution and showing off a truly unique sensibility. Even though the horror aspect isn't totally our jam, the story arc and suspense are completely captivating. We keep wondering what the orchestral piece is that plays on the radio??? Looks like we'll be moving on through the rest of the series.
We have started this game and LOVED it. Our family went crazy over it. The puzzles are hard but once you solve them you wounder why you never thought like this sooner. We realy recommend this game but DONT get this game first first is samara room and then this game. Have a lot of fun.
We discovered this series over quarantine and we loved it from the start. Ive been eagerly anticipating the be update with the content from the cube escape collection and we are not disappointed! Thank you rusty lake! PS when will the other games be updated.
That prescription was Prozac, so Laura probably has sleeping problems. Its actually medicine we take, to explain how we know that. We wonder why sleeping problems are what you hint at with medication.
Gave up and deleted when we couldn't escape the room. We did everything there was to do and the picture was incomplete except curious as to what was incomplete we watched the video and we had all the picture pieces.
Done everything right and the level wont let us pull it down! We even had to consult the walkthrough to make sure we wasnt missing something…and Im not! HELP! Please fix this bug (Other than that Im only now discovering this series and its 10/10! But Im trying to play them in order and WITHOUT guides and this one wont let us play through.).
Was looking forward to this. Broke on first season. (No black cube appears after cracking egg.) Also asking us to purchase again to remove adds instead of restoring purchase. What happened here guys? Super bummer.
We found this online after searching for a list of games that didnt have ads more than game time. The reviewer of the game Ive followed before so we tried it. They were right! We became obsessed with finishing it all at once. Though it may appear simple in its graphics, you may be missing the point. The developers skill set. Planning on donating to this developer! Lack of ads shows a love of coding? Gaming? Ten stars.
The puzzles are challenging, and not always intuitive: you have to think far more creatively and experimentally with Cube Escape games, and revisit some scenes multiple times. (It also helps to have access to a walkthrough, just in case!). The graphics are beautiful in a cartoon-y way. This series is much quirkier, and more subtle, than most escape games Ive played.

Ive played all of these games in chronological order. The free ones are short, the chapters you have to pay for are much longer. Theyre worth purchasing. Do yourself a favor if you like creepy, interesting puzzle games. Buy and download all of the chapters, Google the chronological order of these games, and play them in order. We cant wait for more chapters to be released.
We love 5he story as much as the puzzle. That said, Im still trying to fit the pieces together. Challenging and different.
Still playing through the series and still loving it. This one had so much more to it then we thought plus the bonus ending it brings to The Lake entry. On a smaller note we realized this was considered the first game and not the lake. Im of the opinion that they are interchangeable as the first entry but thats what the page says so Im gonna take its word for it. Also, Harvey is the best character by far.
Im tearing our way through these games and will be so sad when Ive played them all. These are our Favorite phone games ever.
Ive played a lot of escape room games on our phone. Many of them become quite mechanical to play. Tap tap tap everywhere until something works. But this game is a piece of art. The artwork, music, sound, and story are very engaging. The puzzles almost all make sense. The difficulty level is just right. Two thumbs way up.

This is the most amazing and engaging games Ive ever come across. It seems simple on the surface, but in truth it delves so far into an intricate story you cant leave. Im both bedazzled and befuddled. We love this series.

We literally never write reviews, but we have got to say this series is absolutely amazing. We found it on a whim one day wanting to find an escape room type game but never being able to find good ones. We have played the whole series two times, and we are on our third round right now. We have all the premium games and they are 100% worth it. Hands down one of the most interesting and fun games we have ever played.
This game is absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed plying it from the first moment until the end. We'll recommend it to our friends.

We love this game. We have played the first three, and they are all worth 5 stars. However, we are still a little confused about the plot and story of the second and third ones. The best we can understand is the main characters are insane and are that dark shadow thing. The first one made everything make sense by (spoiler alert) showing how you are your own worst enemy, are the murderer, and in a crazy house. Besides that, we love this game and would recommend it to anyone who likes a challenge.

We happened upon this game recently having not played any of the other titles in this series. We are so please that we did. It definitely was a well thought out game, with a few interested added aspects that other escape room games dont have.
Ive played through every single Rusty Lake app and am working on our second playthrough of each. Im so impatient for new stuff from this developer. Its all so ridiculously good.
The first level is so confusing but we recommend to get this game it was so much fun on our road trip and it gives you something to do.our road trip was 7 hours and we were playing this game the entire time and Im still on the first level but that is because Im not very good at these games but this game is so addictive so we cant stop playing so now if you will excuse us Im going back to playing it.
