We will admit that there are a few levels we felt we had to turn to walkthroughs for but we believe all are solvable – it takes fine attention to detail (thats for sure & part of the charm). We are not that kinda person who pays money for games but we paid $1.99 for this game and we had a blast from the start to end. Very intuitive puzzles and a nice little story behind them. What got us into this game was actually the art work, its very beautiful.
Was enjoying the game until we got to the mini robot level there are supposed to be six items to place in the picture but we only got two. We exited the game and tried again, same thing! So we cant proceed to the next levels. Can we get a refund.
This one does not disappoint. In addition to clever puzzles and uniquely theirs art and animation, they often have a backstory, that can be at once melancholy but filled with hope. Please keep making these, and dont skimp on the story.
We were hoping for another Cotton adventure game but this is a linear puzzle after puzzle after puzzle game which just keeps going with no adventure or goal, kind of like this sentence. We got so bored we didnt finish it. Waste of money unless you like the same thing over and over again.

We love Cotton Games. Their animation, music storyline and puzzles create a singularly unique stamp in the gaming landscape. From the surrealism of Isoland: Amusement Park to the dark humor of Mr. Pumpkin 2: Walls of Kowloon to the gentle childlike nature of One Way: The Elevator they really work at creating immersive worlds and not just mindless games to play. We mean cmon-even the end credits of this game were adorable! The puzzles in this game can be deceptively simple at times but there were a actually few times we needed a walkthrough to clear, and for us, thats a good thing. The quirky animation, unique characters, gentle music brought it all home only to end with the final bittersweet, yet hopeful story of this little boys journey in life. Thanks Cotton for another out of the box game. We appreciate all the effort & hard work you put into your games cause it SHOWS.
Love the game and would love to finish it but as someone else described, we have only 1 item showing in the projector for placement (toy bird). Looked at walkthroughs and they seem to have them all there. Please help us be able to finish the game.
This elevator needed more floors. It gets a 3.5 rating.
Perfect little game to challenge and entertain you. No long dialogues, intriguing puzzles, great storyline… We highly recommend.

Thank you to Cotton Game for this lovely game. We cant recommend it enough. The graphics are wonderful, and the story is so touching. We didnt want it to end, each floor was so unique and had its own challenges, and Im so thankful for the chance to re-do a floor if we missed a critical item. Im looking forward to your next game.
Im loving this game but cant get through the mini robot level because we only get the pen and the bird collectibles.
Just buy it, its a great puzzle and story. Not too hard but not always simple. Really worth every penny. Bravo.
We rarely write reviews… Its not our thing. However…. If you love puzzles… And we dont know how to describe it.. Its like endless mini puzzles!!! Theres no solving one part.. And having to combine it with something else game. But endless puzzles.. And you actually have to think about them for a minute lol its weird. A few of them were obvious easy.. But for most part they take a minute to figure out. Just download it and see…and kinda addicting lol.
We love love love this game. Be patient and let it go at its own pace. Its sweet and perfect.
We love all of the Cotton games, but this is now our favorite one. Extremely creative, sad and sweet story, no boring dialogue, just the right amount of difficulty, unique puzzles, incredible graphics…so much to love! Make sure you uncover the secret levels, as they are the best part of the game (we used a walkthrough to figure out how to find them). We cant wait to see what Cotton comes up with next.
Many thanks to the developer for fixing chapter transition bug. What an amazing game! Wonderful art, great puzzles and a sweet story. The ending hints at another game, which we eagerly await.
After update: This is a fun puzzle game with an endearing story and cute characters. Like most Cotton Game games there are multiple layers to challenge you. Thanks for fixing the bug! Before update: This looks like a fun game. It crashed on a few levels before 6, but we replayed them and got past. Now it crashes every time we grab the globe on Level 6. SAD.
We have played and replayed all their games! By far is the best! We love the story line.
This was a great puzzle game, well worth the price. It had a great little storyline and the puzzles were the perfect level of difficulty. Highly recommend if youre into puzzle games.
So far this is a fun puzzler. You really have to read into the environment to solve the puzzles. Sometimes this is not so straight forward, at least for us. We would play this more but it drains our battery faster than anything we have had before. Went from 90 to 35% in 15 min. Hopefully they can get that fixed soon so we can go back to our wireless charger only. IPhone 10 iOS 14.2.
Level 23 or also called the mini robot level…The projector only shows us two items that we can put in the painting; the paintbrush and some artwork that fits as her shoulder. We have checked several walkthroughs and they get all of the items to drag to the painting. Why am we only getting 2.
The mini robot level does not work. Nothing happens when we open the box and try to rewire it. We tap and nothing happens. Please fix this.
In the mini robot level of the elevator, only 3 items show up when we touch the painting/puzzle. We cant continue because of this. HELP.
Cannot get past the mini robot level with the collectibles. There is a glitch.
Got to mini robot pretty easily, but only seeing one piece for the picture. No indication of what to do. Lame.
Ive played almost every cotton game without a problem, but cannot tap on anything in this one. We finally tapped on the pen in some correct way, but Ive tried everything in the first scene in the bedroom: tapping on the stick, dragging it, double tapping it, holding a tap… And all it does is wiggle. We literally cant play this. Im on a new iPad Pro. Id really like some instruction, or a refund if we cant play this.
We see no point in a game where it is so obtuse you have to watch game cheats to get through it. Very disappointed.
We have enjoyed each and every game that Cotton Games has made and One Way: Elevator is by far our favorite. The gameplay is simple but the puzzles are complex. It has tremendous replay as well since theres additional achievements and puzzles outside the main story. You wont find a better game for $2 then this.
Maybe for our iPad. For some reasons, the ship puzzle is easy, but doesnt trigger any consequence. Neither does the duck in the pump. Maybe it is just us dont get the puzzle. Thanks always for your game.

Love your games, so creative. Unfortunately this game has glitches and crashes on our iPad. Got to the 6th floor and cannot progress. So sad.
We were really excited to play the game but for some reason it keeps saying it cant download. Im not sure why but hopefully itll get fixed soon.

We cant get past the attic in the very beginning of the game. Every time the transition to the next scene starts, the game just shuts down on us. We really hope there will be a bug fix soon.
