Challenging but stuck at the snow globe :(.
The puzzles are really clever, different and interesting. Ive always liked their stories and artwork, this game is no exception. Im on an 8th generation iPad, iOS 14.4.2 and had no issues with controls or glitches. The controls seemed totally intuitive to us. We guess we started with the updated version, though. We would absolutely recommend. It is an exceptionally short game. Itd be really nice if they added to it. Even priced at a dollar, its a little short.
We have played many games from this company and they are truly wonderful. This time, however, playing A foreign land Im so frustrated then Im going to quit. There is one part where you have to scoot a string around pegs to make a shape of a man. You do this by sliding your finger across the iPhone Nudging it. The only problem is that the way they have a situated, its right where one would use that same gesture to close the app. So its not that its difficult to do the movement of the string, but rather to keep the app open. Ive tried 10 times Im done :( we tried contacting cotton game but was unable to do so on their site.
Cottongame story puzzle games are the absolute best. They are works of art you can get inside.
Enjoyed this. A pleasant story. Very thought provoking puzzles. No hints, but clues do abound if you search around. We had to backtrack a few times to find the clues we missed. Keep poking this and that, sliding this way or that, something will give and you will eventually land at the games end! Would have preferred this game to last longer but we are not disappointed, it was a fun, graphically pleasing adventure with a pleasant sound track.
After 3 days of frustration with the time rocket puzzle we gave up and offloaded the game. But we really liked the story and artwork so we reloaded the game, tried again and found the right clue (think path, not pattern). After you finish the game, click back to the beginning then click through the game to enjoy the story without any distraction from the puzzles.
Really enjoyed this game. Found this after playing the Isoland series. We disagree with the reviewer that said puzzles werent intuitive. We do agree that a hint feature would be helpful, but we only found ourselves stuck on the time rocket puzzle. We were able to retrace our steps and locate the clue. We love the storytelling, mood, art style, and music on this game. Thank you.
Beautiful story with interesting art and a heartwarming story. The puzzle are challenging but not too complex. A great example of simplicity done right.
