About Zuzu:
Your goal is to fill in the board using only logical determination, similar to Sudoku. Tap a tile on the board to set or change its color. Like the binary number system in general, there are only two tile colors, orange (0) and blue (1). Zuzu games begin with an unfinished grid that must be filled in correctly according to three rules listed below.
Each row and each column:
.. is unique
.. has an equal number of red and blue tiles
.. has no more than two adjacent tiles of the same color
The strategies for solving a Zuzu binary puzzle vary in complexity. Once you install the game you will find a “How to Play” section with a link to a video outlining some successful solving strategies for a binary puzzle.

Was an okay game, but they dropped mPoints so we're dropping them.
It's like a simple sudoku, being there's only two choices per square, but the larger puzzles take some serious thought. Have had to reset the 12x12s almost every time.
It is a challenging game to play.
The interface of this game is really simple, the design is pleasing, and the game ranges from easypeasy to super hard. If you want a real challenge, choose the 10 option at the beginning. If you just want to earn mPLUS Points fast, the 4 square option is the way to go. You don't earn additional points by choosing the harder levels, and we can never solve 8 or 10 without basically cheating (choosing one square and then checking to see if it's right or wrong). The only negative we'd give is that the instructions aren't super clear. It confused us at the beginning, when it says "you must have an even number of each color in each row and column". That apparently was supposed to mean an EQUAL number. We kept playing the 6 square level and was frustrated that we wouldn't win, even though we had 4 red and 2 blue or whatever in each row and column. Turns out we should've had 3 of each.
We've really enjoyed learning how to play this game. We've got several friends that play the original version of the game but we have never been able to understand how to play by just watching them. We believe the game with the numbers would be a little harder to learn how to play just starting out than this game is with the colored tiles.
Always get videos and in 5 minutes you achieve the maximum points.
We enjoy these puzzles, they are challenging but require no special knowledge or skill other than the ability to think logically. Great way to keep an old brain in shape.

This game is fun, but it is quite challenging. The requirement to win the game is difficult especially when you add more pieces to the puzzle. We have always considered ourselves a very rational and logical person, yet we still struggled in completing the puzzle. Good app to play and earn mPlus points. Not too difficult.
The game is fun but there are a couple of issues – it seems like there can be more than one correct answer to a puzzle but the system is looking for a certain one. So you can satisfy all the rules but the puzzle wont complete. Hints just color a cell with no explanation. You cant tell which were the provided/certain cells after you start. The program doesnt flag when youve violated a rule.
This is a fun game. You can pick different size grids, which increase the difficulty. To answer a solid meh comment, the rule you missed is, every row and column, backwards and forwards, must be unique. We personally decided we dont have time or care enough to compare every row and column, but it does provide a challenge. Overall, a fun distraction.
This simple looking game is challenging. One of the reviewers commented on how there are multiple possible solutions to individual puzzles. We think he/she missed a rule of the game – that no two columns may be identical and no two rows may be identical. We missed that rule at first also.
Check for valid board instead of checking against answer key. If you algorithmically generate boards and dont check for unique valid solutions then you end up having multiple valid solutions.
The games fine, but why are there multiple answers to the same puzzle when only one SPECIFIC answer is accepted? The only two rules are no more than two of the same-colored blocks in a row or column, and you have to have the same amount of blues and oranges per row / column. It seems a little arbitrary, and as another review mentioned, it gets old quickly.
We like these types of puzzles, but those in this game are mostly on the easier side. It became boring pretty quickly. There are other versions of binary puzzles that are more challenging. On the positive side, the ads are minimal.
Play whenever we have a little free time, no timer so can go back to it whenever we want.
Took us a while to get the hang of it, but now we're hooked! Yet one more Matthew Murphy winner! Keep up the good work, dude…& give us more of your stretch-the-brain fun games! We, too, wish we could play more games & still earn mPoints.
Just redownloaded after a couple months break and the color scheme changed :( we would love to see a dark mode so that we could continue playing at night before we fall asleep. But we love everything else.
