We want to help those who struggle getting tools! Get with coins a couple if not more the zombie treasure hunters! They will collect signs for you. If you look in your chest you can trade the signs for blue quartz!! This is what is hard to acquire to build the wells. They hunt constantly and when they are done you tap on them and they hunt again bringing signs to exchange for quartz every time. Both us and our 75 year old mom have been playing this game for a couple years and thats how we have done it.
Thanks for continuing to add new adventures & challenges and listening to player feedback. The characters and storylines are cute and creative. Kudos to your team! Happy to see the Achievements and the free Zombucks, we keep finding new and remembering old ways to get the resources needed to keep moving through. To those who feel stuck, dont get discouraged. Take advantage of all the game options; watch the videos to get brains, keep your workers busy, open those treasure chests, keep farming, cooking, cutting, chopping, use the apparatus, trade sets, sell excess resources for coins. There is logic behind the fun.

For some reason the game doesnt make this obvious- if you send treasure hunters out, they gather parts of collections; when complete, you can trade the collections in and one of the collections gains crystals. So, buy fortune hunters as soon as you can. Ill spend a week between adventures just sending out our fortune hunters and cooking bone berry, so when we visit a new island we can build multiple wells. We love this games sense of humor. Some things it could explain better. We still dont understand what some stuff is supposed to do.
We never have enough time or tools to finish the mini-islands especially when there are two at a time so we give up even trying. Maybe give us long enough time or more time to progress where we feel that 25% or 50% progress is being made gaining more tools as we get more along as an incentive.
The purpose of this game is one thing. Make $$$$$ for developer. The islands in the beginning are good for obtaining items required to complete quests. Further on = no such thing. Difficult to obtain items to construct wells etc. We are. Currently exploring 2 islands (they come up after quests) and neither island has the items required to construct well to produce tools needed. Further more, islands with said wells no longer available = closed so you cannot obtain tools required. Like we said $$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!! Addendum: Wells should give tools and tools alone! Points towards advancement given when accomplish goals. But then, if wells gave only tools, how could developer make $$$$$$.

Our only two complaints is we are not given enough tools..We should have more than one well that doesnt give out on us and not give XP..The other one is we need more time to finish quest..we love this game because the zombies are so adorable its like they are reacting to what they do.. Please fix game it crashes way to much now..we lose to work and achievements due to this.. Again this game crashes way to much even have to do updates more than once..Its so frustrating to daily players.
We are looking for the ship to go to Troy island on the secret island we even cleared the whole island and we cant find the ship.
Ive been playing this game for over a year but in the last 2 months its almost become unplayable. It crashes every single time its open. The upgrades have become more constant and seem to just make things worse.
Ill change this to a 5 star after they increase the amount of tools you can hold. Im sorry but going back and forth between islands to load up on tools is a joy killer Update: lowered it to 1 star after the Tortuga island thing. The levers are impossible to find and from what Ive seen on Facebook they have no intention of fixing it. For now Im done wasting our time.
We enjoy the game but cannot get anywhere. Tools are gone in seconds. So unless you spend money forget making any progress.
This is our second play through! We like the low pressure move at your own pace game. Super enjoyable story line and graphics. No violence or competition.
This game is fun but the crashing is way too frequent. We find that we lose items that we have been cooking for some time and tools disappear. Glue is also required WAY too frequently for how long it takes to cook. We need it for multiple islands, an event and pirate islands so its crazy that one of the ingredients is an hour! Just fix glue and paint! Edit: developer responded to use the Help function for support which we did in the past. By the time they responded Id already cooked new items and completed the task so they did nothing. They should have compensated our account with time jump stars or something.
Addictive. Keeps you coming back multi times daily when some supplies have replenished. Ive been playing this game for a few years now. Updates address problems as needed. We believe they do listen to players concerns & we dont spend real money on in app-purchases.
Fix some glitches please. We have earned a 3 billion gold coins. However when you earn each additional billion it drops all your new coins only shows 1 billion. Can not find how to sell a zombie worker. You can supply as much quartz timber and recipient buy buying multi. Zombie fishermen zombie treasure hunters and cooks. You can sell the sets you gain for the timber and quartz. And you can cook as much of the blue bottle stuff forget its name as you want we have about 100 of each.
Im not going to say anything different than what others have already been complaining about for years. We have set this game down for months at a time because it gets frustrating, boring, and redundant to only be able to play for a minute or two because you have to jump through so many hoops to get tools and supplies. We have a meh attitude now and only open it out of boredom. We used to be excited to play this game. We wont ever spend money on any game, and we feel like thats how this game is set up. Its a shame the creators dont seem to read the comments and make improvements. Its the same complaints we read years ago. Maybe its time to just delete.
We used to really like this game but things have changed. You used to be able to advance through the game without spending too much money. They recently added new elements that require using more resources. Customer support used to be great too, but it has now gone downhill. They used to actually listen to your inquiries, but now they give you canned patronizing responses. They have a live chat help service but the average response time is over ten hours. They recently spent over three weeks arguing with us that their game didnt make the error we claimed it did, but they couldnt back it up. We showed them many screenshots to support our claim. They countered with doctored screenshots that werent very convincing. They also contradicted themselves with some of their statements. This game can still be fun without costing much, but dont expect too much in the way of support.
We ordered zombiebucks was charged and did not receive items. Game developer gave us BS response bad internet connection etc. Basically across the board answer. ITunes was no help either.
If you don't wish to be reminded about paying or buying every 5 minutes then don't download this game. YOU CAN'T PROGRESS UNTIL YOU PAY MONEY.
We were very happy with the game until pet island, we got into the island a couple of times after that our game kept crashing sent a report numerous times to no avail we messaged them they message us back told us to reinstall the game we reinstalled it and we lost all our progress everything gone very very disappointed.
We are liking and loving this game for last 2 year. But nowadays we m not liking at all. Every time we open the game it shows Download game resources. Everyday we open the game 10-12 times it wants to download so. We are tired . Even we couldnt play it when Im out of internet coverage.This issues should be fixed urgently.
Really like the game we would rate five stars if we could build up a bigger collection of tools 100 is no where near enough, wish we could collect as many tools as we want. We need more crystals available, please.
Initially we downloaded this game for our little brother but then he became addicted to it. After our brother went home, the notifications kept going off until we needed to see what was going on. The graphics are fun and the missions are tricky the further you get into it. We get it now.
We open and play every day even if its just to check in. But we find if you really want to get any where you have to pay. We want till they have a sale but we have spent quite a bit of money over the last two years.
Been playing so long, and without a single server error, that doubt we'll ever stop playing. Only wish there were more islands for collected items, buildings, and crops. The overcrowding makes it impossible to appreciate the talent of the graphic artists and even more, limits creativity of player. Everything is too crowded – not enough room to visually enjoy trophies, decorations, etc. We can't even see most items we gain during events.

We have been playing this game for years. Its still being updated regularly and isnt abandoned like many apps are after being out along time. The graphics are the best. We cant say enough good things about this game.
Zombie castaways is an amazing game. However, it is a very expensive game. It requires you to buy A LOT to simply play it and advance. You will pay a large amount into infinity just to be able to advance in the game smoothly, if you want to enjoy it properly. We wish they wouldnt be a little less greedy and fix that so that we could enjoy it a lot more. If you did fix it, you would get a lot more customers and you would probably make more money that way in the long run.
Loved this game and have played for a long time. However no new islands in months if not a year now. We cant remember when there was a new island released. So Im very disappointed to have wasted our time and money on a game that just fizzled out.
We love this game. However we have reached the end . The story has ended however we can still sail the ships . Would love new islands though. It is extremely entertaining and very well made.

A while ago, 2-3 years ago; we contacted support. In question to why the notifications have not been working. We were informed there was a fix in the works, a few months later. We ask again, but then am told updates are going to not be as frequent and to expect a new product soon. However, it's been a while now; and the notifications still are not working and there is no new product. The game is still getting updates too. So, are the notifications going to be fixed anytime soon.

We noticed that the landing page still shows Christmas! Please update. Also observed that the further that we get into the game the harder it is to receive any resources. It was really fun, until it wasnt.
Have only been able to play 30 seconds at a time because we run out of tools.
