Community Insight:
Another game conquered,,another game to recommend,,did need to use a few hints,,.
We read some of the negative reviews after we downloaded this game and immediately noticed that it was kind of blurry so we deleted the game from our iphone. But after couple of days we downloaded it again on our iphone, we realized it was not blurry at all, but rather part of the games creative design of xmas lights and fog and we have gotten used to it. We love this game. It is fun and easy. We finished it in less than 45 minutes. Goro Sato youre the best. Looking forward to your next game.
Fun, beautiful animation, imaginative, looking forward to the next one.
We may or may not agree with other reviewer's complaints. We never want him to stop making escape games so we will always lift up instead of pull down! We enjoyed it thoroughly and we can't wait for another.
A very pretty game! Lots of lovely surprises. We love all Mr Sato's games. Thank you for a charming way to start the new year.
Yeah graphics a little rough, slightly easy. Still fun.
Goro sato is one of our most favorite game developers, and this escape challenge was festive and fun! The graphics were a bit blurry as other reviewers have noted, but we thought that perhaps this was done on purpose to simulate a snowy landscape? Either way, we loved playing.
The fuzzy/crappy graphic thing is a little unfortunate and weird but over all, this game is pretty and fun and most welcome this time of year. It's a good game with some holiday light.
We enjoy all of Goro Satos games although they are all short and fairly easy. The one thing we did not like here was the blurry effect probably to give it a Christmas lighting feeling. That didnt work for us.
This was so cute for the holidays! But unless you went to "help", some puzzles you won't get or see.
It seems to us like there was some kind of filter that was supposed to make things look sparkly, but it looked bad on our iPad. We kept having to squint at the screen, and the effect seemed to make counting the tree ornaments particularly difficult. The puzzles were on the easy side, and we just needed a bit of help finding the banners. Sato always has something hidden which trips us up.
Always fun… Too easy though, but still love it.
This isnt part of the design. Makes it hard to make things out. Must be very low res.
We liked the theme and puzzles in the game. The hints section is also appreciated but the quality of the graphics is very poor.
Who is the creator of this new game we're positive that the genius Goro Sato had nothing to do with it. Where is Goro?? Graphics awful and don't compare to the mind challenging games of the past.
There are hidden switches and banners which we hunted around for for far to long. And theres a point where solving a puzzle requires counting blurry objects with no means of zooming in.
We're with reviewer Sato fan..what happened here? Goro Sato games are so much better than this. The graphics are really awful on iPad ..extremely gritty, blurry, and dark (iPad Air 2, iOS 10). The game is short, it lacks continuity and doesn't make much sense. The ads are disruptive. We refuse to believe Sato has gone to the other side..where ad revenue is more important than artistry. This is the first time we've given a Sato game a poor rating. So disappointed..very sorry to say.
We would check almost daily for new Goro Sato apps. His graphics were clean, his ideas were clever, his sound effects consistent, and we loved playing his escape games. This new game has ads on the top and bottom banners, the graphics are compromised, & the puzzle doesn't make very much sense. We realize this is a hard working contributor – but his crisp visuals are not only gone, the ads interrupt your play much too often. So so sad… We lost our favorite escape artist.
