Theres too much ads in this game. Every time we open this game, there will always be an ad waiting for us. And then every time we finish making items in the production house, the game will suddenly flash back. Which makes us have to open the game again, and enter the next advertising cycle.To be honest, it is so exhausted.This game is so interesting, we hope the technical team can figure this out.
We love this game so much. We played Virtual Villagers on PC when we were younger and we loved it, so we were happy when we looked it up in the App Store! We've unfortunately completed all of the puzzles and we're sad, but the survival mode is fun too. P.S.: The male villagers' red hair with the streak in it is FLY.

We played this game when we were younger & decided to get it again. Its been fun, im moving a lot faster than we did when we were 10. But, unfortunately, our game crashes & takes us back to the starting screen any time we complete a craft, and half the time we dont even get what we had crafted when we log back in, but the materials we used to make it are also gone. Its annoying.
We love this game & have played all LDW games before. We like the graphics and the work that was put into this particular game. However, there is a small issue with apple products. There is a white bar which is part of the iPhone 11 and up since theres no home button we have the bar to swipe up. What that does to the game is it covers the description when dragging the villager to a certain area. We cannot read what it says. We hope we explained it correctly! The game has so much potential and we enjoy it so far. Thank you :).
This game brings back so many memories. Super nostalgic. The problem Im having is it crashes whenever we finish crafting something. It saves what we made, but we noticed that some other things we had already done were missing. Little bugs like this seem minor but could affect the entire game. Like we cooled off that stone and had our builder bring it to the kraken.. And then it disappeared and never went into his eye, but didnt go back to where u forage it.
When we try to make metal the game crashes but still makes it after we make it and give it to our villager it crashes and takes the metal without putting it anywhere but other than that its ok.
We want to be able to have twins and triplets.
We loved playing this game on the computer when we were younger and love playing again. A few annoying glitches but doesnt stop us from playing – – cant read the words at the bottom because the white line to pull up the screen is in the middle – it asks every time we open the game if we want the ads to track us.
Ive really been enjoying this game even though it takes forever to craft objects and to gather tech points. The part we have trouble with is that the game glitches and kicks us out when we try to gather crafted materials.
Ive been a fan of the game for years but these ads was soon as you open the app are a big turn off for us. Sometimes we just close the app as soon as we open it. Our villagers are pretty self sufficient now but wheres the fun in that? Please fix this.
Our villager wont finish the scythe no matter how long.
This game is fun, but all the dang ads are annoying. Also, it would be great if you fixed the bug that makes the game close every darn time we collect from our craft hut. Ive played V.VILLAGERS since it came out all those years ago on PC. This is the most frustrating due to the ads and the game closing every time we craft.
It quits every time we try to open a newly crafted item EVERY TIME.
We really like this game we used to play the original one like 10 years ago but it wont let us craft anything any time we try it says its saving and kicks us off the app and when we come back we have nothing Ive tried deleting and reinstalling and restarting the iPad nothing is working Im probably going to have to just uninstall for good cuz we cant really play to the fullest.
The game is fun and we like it. But the bar on the bottom of our iPhone 12 constantly gets in the way of the wording. We cant read anything at the bottom. Would like to see this be a change in the future so we can actually read it.
After we make something in the craft hut and go to collect the item it kicks us out of the game every time. Other than that the game is great.

We enjoy the game but it can be frustrating to play on an apple device. The details bar at the bottom of the screen is blocked by the swipe bar during game play. It is nearly impossible to read what villagers are saying or doing.
We love this game, but they dont update enough. Ive tried reporting the many login issues that we have but they make that process difficult too.
This game is good, we have fun playing it!! Butwhenever we craft something the game crashes and takes our crafted items. Ive tried multiple times to craft things but it keeps crashing and taking our items away. Im unable to play the game at times because it stops us from advancing. This needs to be fixed soon:/ its very discouraging.
Would love to be able to play this. Im a fan of the original, however we have an iPhone and all the tutorials/guidance is hidden behind the stupid iPhone swipe bar! So after 30 minutes of struggling on what we were supposed to do or what was what, we deleted sadly. No way to get rid of the swipe bar, but maybe you could have your text be at the top of the screen? Thats all! Hope we get to play it soon.
This game is fun to play, but we keep getting logged out after collecting crafting materials.
We are having issues with making things in the crafting hut. Once its done crafting when we hit done or whatever it is, it glitches us out of the game and we have to restart the app and when we go back we have to recraft it and once again when its done and we hit done it does the same thing. We cant collect what we need in order to proceed with the game please help us.
Ive been enjoying this game for the last few days and now that Ive finished building the crafting hit our screen will freeze and we cant move the little people. Ive closed the app and reopened it and still wont work. We have the iPhone 11 and the screen is a little off. Could you fix the bug once you fix it Ill fixed our review. Thank you.
Its a pretty good game but its low on information haveing to play the guessing game even on tutorial mode like wise a good game but had to look up a few things just to keep going witch should have been put in the tutorial.
Loving the game so far but every time we craft something, the game crashes when its finished. When we re-open the game, its completely gone along with the materials that went into making it. Would love to continue playing but we cant really advance without crafting. Please fix.
The iPhone swipe up bar completely covers the text that describes what the villagers are doing. Its still playable we guess but it makes it way harder than it needs to be because we just have to guess, it literally completely covers the text.
We started playing on Jun 15, 2022, and finished all puzzles 2 weeks later on Jun 29. VVO2 is better than the previous games are in many ways. The villagers are more realistic with last names, facial expressions, and many different hair/face combinations. They are shown carrying food, building with hammers, and researching with sticks. They always stay in their prime, retaining their youthful appearance and speed, and regularly live to around 100 with the highest level of medicine. Villagers who dislike running only move slightly more slowly than average, compared to previous games where they moved way too slowly. Children are immune to falling ill. You can use the lavastone bonus wheel to increase lifespan and/or skills. You can even revive your villagers as often as you like; their skills carry over, but each reincarnation has random likes and dislikes. However, the game also has its share of flaws. The pause button does not work, so we need to tend to our village daily. Some villagers get sick so often (even when there are no poisonous frogs), while others rarely do, if at all. This usually happens overnight, so the next time we visit, some of them are weak. Villagers rarely heal each other on their own even if they are adept or master healers, so you must heal most of them yourself. They never study medicine on their own, so you have to drag them to the Healing Hut and/or use the lavastone bonus wheel to increase their healing ability when everyone is healthy. Parents are no longer displayed behind their children, likely due to the addition of last names. On Aug 2, after running continuously for 1 1/2 months, our game suddenly hung at the title screen. We tried resetting both our device and Wi-Fi, but it still refuses to load.
Its a good sequel to the first and have no real complaints about the gameplay other than the fact that our game crashes every time we go to close to from the crafting hut.
Tech point are not earned . We finally gave in a said we will purchase the 4.99 for 125 STONES . Lol still to much for a freaking game token but anyway. The stones allowed us to upgrade technology for farming , building etc to help with the CRAFTING PROCESS. We were able to obtain 43,000 tech point from a trade which allowed us to upgrade the farming. Why is the next upgrades 200,000 , 110,000,160,000? To buy even 35,000 tech points you need 300 lava stones and 300 lava stones are $10 , so if we were to upgrade the CRAFTING again ( which We am required to do just to create more combinations so we are able to trade to ACHIEVE MORE TECH POINTS) we would have to spend $50 ONLY for 200,000 tech point that WILL be gone in ONE BUY JUST ONE. Watching the (free tech points videos provides 17 tech points why 17 idk but seriously.
Having played all the past virtual villagers games, origins 2 was the last one on our list. However we are disappointed with how this game plays. First you cannot see the text at the bottom of the screen. The phone blocks it with the white line that indicates the bottom of the screen, so you dont know what your villagers are doing. Secondly, the game crashes every time we collect the item we crafted. Whether the craft failed or was successful every time it crashes. Crafting seems to be a big part of this game, and it is absolutely frustrating to have to go through the whole log in screen every time we need to craft. The game is so much fun, but these two things are truly hindering the experience. We dont really mind the ads either, we would love to watch an ad if it means we get extra lava stones and whatnot, but the mechanics of the game are the issue.

Our game has too many glitches, Im stuck on puzzle 11 chapter 1 Ive been playing for years would love to see improvement for all games.
We are attempting to craft items but when we go to collect them our game crashes and the item isnt saved. We cant complete goals or missions without these items.
Love this game but wasting a lot of time and resources trying to build in the crafting hut, as soon as you open the hut to collect the app crashes and you lose what ever resources you just used and what ever you just crafted.
Dosent compare to the originals. The text and UI is too small and dosent even work well as the text on the bottom is always obscured by the white iPhone bar.
We were a huge fan of the original games but all of the ads in this game makes the game pretty much unplayable. While it seems to have a larger map and some new things the game will pop up ads every couple of minutes which often cause the game to freeze or crash rendering it mostly unplayable. We deleted it after a couple of days because of this.
Every time we craft a material and we go to collect it (stone specifically) the app crashes while saving and the material is not collected and just disappears. Every single time we try to craft it again and collect it the app continues to crash and the material disappears. We cannot complete the game if we cant collect stone or other materials. Ive tried deleting and redownloading the app however the bug still stays.
First let us say, Ive been playing last day of work games since the first VV game was released. Im a huge fan of the work they do. However, with this one there is a game breaking bug that you absolutely cannot progress through. Whenever using the crafting hut, the game crashes upon trying to collect the product. The game works well otherwise, but you cant do any quests or gameplay related to crafting, hence you cannot complete the game. We know its not just us because we have tried on multiple compatible devices with no luck.
We do enjoy the game but every time we go to the crafting bench our game quits out. Its super annoying. Also for some reason when we first started to play our game quit out with our first round of villagers and it killed every single one of them. We logged back in and every villager was dead and around the age of 115 for some reason. The game is fun but with these bugs it makes us not want to play anymore.
Everytime we go to the workshop when our items finish we go to collect them and it shuts off goes back to home like our Home Screen we have to sign back in we love the game even downloaded it on our x box please fixxxxxx.
Every time we collect resources and craft them in the hunt it immediately kicks us out as im trying to collect resources. We are very disappointed hopefully it will be fixed but for now we will stop playing. Overall characters are diverse and game play is beautiful.
Game is fun, but there is a bug that prevents you from progressing in the game. The bug happens when you craft items and go to collect it, but then game crashes and the app closes. When we go back to our crafting hut the materials we used to craft the items are gone. We dont have our crafted items and we dont have any materials. PLEASE FIX THIS.
We bought and played all the VV versions a decade or more ago, so we know theyre tedious. However, waiting for the game to load every time the game opens or youve even just been away for more than a few minutes is beyond unnecessary. Yet, even that was tolerable. When the game started randomly throwing ads to watch with no tangible reward and with the effect that we lost our best villager to sickness while it was playing? That proved to be too much to bear. Offloaded (sadly because we very much enjoyed the games before).
After 5x of trying to craft vines into rope our game crashed and deleted everything!!! Im so sad.
We love virtual families we been playing it since our teens. We feel like Ive accomplished a lot so we wanted to check out another game. Ive been playing for a few days now and it seems challenging but we love it. Unfortunately the game does not save properly. Very sad because we tried 3 times already and it keeps restarting us. Sometimes it will pick us up from where we left off with one of the villages we started but it does not load from where we left off properly. We deleted the game since its annoying to have to go through that. We would like to try again if we can figure out how to save the game properly.
