It’s been more than a couple of years since we have launched a new game, here at Last Day of Work! Well, this is it, the new one. Yes, of course it is a real-time simulation, but this one is a little different. More than ever before, we feel like we have created a world.
The world lives and breathes in your device. Moon phases change as days go by (just like in your real world!). When the sun sets where you are, it’s turning into night in Virtual Town. More than ever, we feel like the world lives and breathes. Watch seasons change. Watch relationships change. Watch your mayor’s adopted little boy or girl grow, and learn how to manage the town.
We hope the world we have created immerses you as much as it does us. Something to know, though: just like a real world, this one will be changing and growing. The truth is, we are a small team and putting everything that we want into these games is not always possible. This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
We’ve been working all summer to prepare some new surprises for you– keep your eyes peeled in the next few weeks for new features and rewards!
This update has:
- new functionality to support in-game offers and giveaways
- optimizations to make the game run smoother for some players who experience freezing or hanging during the game’s loading screen
- resolved ad-related black screens that some players were seeing
- necessary SDK updates to support players using new iOS devices
- upgraded how the game talks to the back-end system to prevent server-save problems
- a couple other bug fixes relating to receipt validation, and the in-game version control system

This game is so much fun! There is so much to do to keep you busy. We love games like this. Yes, the game is a bit older so the graphics are bit outdated but that doesnt stop us from playing. In fact its great that the graphics arent to crazy so it makes the game run very smooth. And adopting the kids is always fun. We actually just redownloaded the game because we used to play it all the time when we were younger on our tablet and we got so much nostalgia thinking about it so we redownloaded it and we are obsessed again. Thank you for making such a amazing game.
We used to play this game all the time. It was our favorite game to play when we were younger. We remembered about it and we are going to play again.
Yes this game is addictive but we think its stupid on how we can only adopt one child and that the fact that we age up too fast.
OKAY! First, where youre going to be losing the most money is tools, so what Im going to ask you to do is take advantage of that whenever you can! If someplace gets robbed, dont fill those holes back! Put food seeds, your townspeople will love you. Its not really a good bargain to sell potatoes, carrots, and tomatoes, but you know what is a bargain? FRUIT TREES! They pay for themselves after two harvests! Leave the vegetables for your townspeople, DONT LET THEM HAVE THE FRUIT TREES! One fruit sells for 30 coins(not counting tomatoes, of course)! If your thought Id that it takes too long, then why are you playing this game? But we have a second option that takes less time than fruit trees. Earlier we told you to take advantage of the fact that tools is where youll spend the most money. Well you know what doesnt break? BUG NET! Catch and sell bugs as often as you can(as long as theyre already in the museum)! This is gonna be the thing that makes you the most money. Plant flowers, too! BEES! They sell for thirty, too!! We used to hold onto bugs cause What if our townspeople want them.. They can live without it, honestly. If theyre asking you for a bug you sold yesterday, thats their loss, not yours. And if you sold a bug the day they asked for itif you really care, you can buy it back for them. We also recommend setting a budget. One for town development, and one for yourself. We havent been under 1000 coins this play through! And if you are able to check multiple times a day for bugs, you should be good at first!

We’re really having a lot fun with this game… Just it’s annoying that it’s the real time and takes a loooot time to grow some plants. We don’t like to wait haha.. But it’s a good game!
We havent been playing a super long time but we’ve really enjoyed the game so far. We may have to find the community for his game soon so we can get tips and ask questions but its been pretty easy to play and we think Ill be checking it what other games these developers have put out.
We truly enjoy your games. We have them all downloaded and we play them all. Usually after a few weeks we get bored of games but we never do yours. Our 14 year old daughter loves them as well. Keep up the great work guys! We will always be a fan of your work!
This game is so addictive we’ve played it for 3 hours straight. And also you do not have to spend money to play. So if we could put a 100 stars on this game we would!!
We are enjoying this game… We have enjoyed the virtual villagers games immensely. Virtual Family had bugs we didnt appreciate. But this one is fun. We would like to buy coins to use in it. The cost is very reasonable in comparison with other games. But for some reason it wont let us buy coins. It just hangs on purchase in progress, please wait. Very frustrating…

How can we fix this on iPad Air? Already wrote ldw. Nothing in machines as cant view movie. Is there a quest we missed? It always worked on our last iPad. Also, suggest important things…1) a pause game button and 2) stackable inventory of same item with ability to choose how many you want to sell. Ie: inventory has one slot with 10 caterpillars but you only want to sell 4 leaving 6 for townies. Just saying this as last iPad was playing and some things are seasonal but townie wanted an out of season item. It would be nice to have a log out of Facebook option as well. Itd be nice to have some new updates. What happened to Virtual Town 2?
This game really entertains us during our son isaacs flute and piccolo recitals!!!
This game is great however it could be improved in many ways for example: 1: add pet shop 2: add festivals to the game 3: it will be really nice if the house has bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms and kitchen 4: Add more kids to the game and maybe a school or church 5: it will be cool if you added fish as food source and let us fishing 6: we wish if you guys let us have more houses and people That’s it.

Hi this is a good game we’ve been playing it for a while now and we love it its like a Virtual Town with virtual people and you get a children too.
We LOVE this game! It has a lot of fun stuff to do, like the boutique for example, where you can buy clothes shoes and glasses! And we wasnt allowed to play SIMS with all the dating, and marriage and stuff, so this game was a perfect option. No dating, marriage, violence, or crude humor. It is cool how you can adopt tho! The only thing we wish could change, is how the one person says OM* we know we know, but we just dont use that word. So overall its a great game! It was a bit complicated for younger siblings, but great for 10+ Thanks,
What did we have to pay for this?
We absolutely love this game but after four generations of being Mayor we realized we had done some things wrong because our game wasnt progressing and we had to start over. But we still play this and virtual family all day every day!!
This is best game only thing is we will they can get married and have kids.
Yes it can be buggy, but its so much fun. We want them to add marriage n babies like the other games.

We own and have played several of the Last Day of Work games and have never been disappointed. We did definitely prefer the old way of doing things – we personally hate the "In-App Purchase" model but that seems to be the way everyone is doing things these days. We are new at this one, having just downloaded it today, and after a few hours of play it seems to be living up to their usual standards. One thing we love about LDW games is that -for us, at least- they almost never crash, the company generally stays on top of their updates. Any time we are looking for a "new" game to play, we always search them first. Yeah, we are fangirling over here but we really appreciate all the thought and effort they put into their games.

Absolutely LOVE the game. It gets pretty addicting after a while. One thing that seems to keep happening is that if we exit the app and switch to something real quick (I.e responding to a text real quick and then reentering the game without closing the window) it sometimes gets glitchy. Like Ill have our mayor walking somewhere and it just gets somewhat laggy. Nothing major to the point where we cant play, but it does get slightly irritating. Also people keep talking about how you can go to the cinema and watch movies (ads) and obtain prizes by doing so, but every time we attempt to see a movie it always says something about the projectionist not being ready yet? It happens no matter what time of day we go to the cinema. Overall its a great game thats seriously fun!
We love this game and it is better than virtual villagers because on that game our people died and better than virtual families because things on there in the store are to pricey. This one is just right. If you want to play their games, this is the one to play.
We hope it gets an update but its been a few years since its last one so we doubt it will but good game tho.

We love this game. Very fun and addicting.. But some things kinda make it stink and make us not really want to play.. First off is playing in "real time", we think it’s kind of annoying that we literally have to wait til the next day for things to finish building, wish we could at least have an option to pay more coins to get the work done faster.. Irritates us to have to wait.. And second is it gets boring walking around not being able to do anything because there is nothing to do.. Wish you guys would give us more quests or more things to find and dig up.. Please consider these and make the game a little more fun..

Better than sims tbh and it’s 100% free we like love rpg and role playing games and this one gets it.
We like this game. It does have its problems; but those will all be sorted out, Im certain of that. Once the developer is let know of these mistakes… Theyll fix it!

This game is so fun, we love everything about it except how there arent many ways to make money or things to do. We would recommend the mayor getting paid from the residents staying there every day like rent. Over all this game is really interesting and fun to play.
