We were really liking the game until just before we got to the mansion. Every time we clicked something, our inventory minimizes and makes it really difficult to use any item.
Im barely through the game and the inventory list just disappeared. Ive turned it off and back on and cleared our cache multiple times just to have the same glitch. Please fix this.
Don't like how they let you play 25% of the game and then charge u $6.99. Shouldn't be in free games . False advertising.
Very fun game !!!! If you have a iPhone or iPad and the inventory is making you exit out the game or one of the rooms you have to hold on to the inventory button the minute you click on it and itll load up w/o making it exit . We had so much fun playing we just wish it wasnt $6 to continue.
These days when it seems like devs just copy their games off someone else, here is an original story. Kudos.
Enjoyed this a lot. Something more games should do when you use the wrong item, instead of just a generic you cant use that here message, you get a glimpse of why that item doesnt work.
The game itself is pretty fun but the display is very glitchy. The inventory overlaps with the bottom trigger of the screen so you repeatedly exit the game when trying to click and drag things from it. The inventory will also refuse to open or pop up and down repeatedly without being accessed it makes the game almost impossible to play.
We liked the story and the game, but its very difficult to navigate on a phone. The item menu is in the same spot as the back button so you constantly go back when trying to use an item. What a waste of money as its really unplayable on a phone.
Using an iPhone landscape doesnt work with game as your inventory bar is right where your phone menu bar is.
Ive spent many years playing mystery puzzles, such as this, and this game is probably one of the most fun that Ive ever had. If you want to play a game or you dont have to spend any money and yet still have a long fun game, play this one.

This was one of the best games you have created, but once deleted, we dont write another review! Our rating will remain at 5 stars for amazing.
The game is fine and not to difficult. We like the options they give you in order to solve puzzles, play a game or skip. We dont like that you have to pay to finish the game. And every game from them is like this.
We want to like this game but we stayed aggravated on it so much we finally just had to leave it be. If you are going to make a game at least make sure it is user friendly. For instance on the bonus chapter where it has the string game near the shore. One of the right side pieces you have to put it on the unlock button to move another piece but when you go to move it to the place its supposed to be at you wind up hitting the stupid x so it resets the whole game! That wouldnt bother us as much IF the pieces were not so hard to move.
Cannot go past the cracked pillar. The hint button is no good it keeps telling you to go there but it doesnt tell you what to do because something is missing. Looking through the guide it seems like we should have acquired an item in one of the past scenes from some puzzle we solved but you cannot go back and get whatever it is because it is not there. The only way we know how to try and fix it is to restart the game which we really dont want to play from the beginning.
Is a real shame! It wont open, and yes, we have tried deleting and starting over several times.
Once again we are enjoying playing a Big Fish Game. This game is a lot of fun.

First we dont give reviews lightly, but we really enjoyed this game is was engaging, interesting, the puzzles while some could be time consuming, you either finished or opted out. We love this one, it offered so much for the price. We personally do love a challenge and kudos to the team who put this together. They put a great deal of thought and expertise. The storyline was original and well thought out. We gave you five stars for excellence, good job, for keeping us engaged. We play cryptograms and have for 30 years so if you can keep us playing then you know you were successful. Glenda.
One of our pet peeves in hidden object games is when musical instruments are mislabeled. In this game, you match outlines of instruments with the instrument picture. When you make all of the matches, you win an Oboe, NOT! Its a BASSOON! Then, it is used to slide the top off of a coffin! Really????? Obviously the game creators are not musicians! Do your research.
This seemed visually appealing and fun, but we spent more time struggling to find objects and accidentally closing the game to end up at our phones home screen. This us not a hidden object game per say. Its more like a hidden room game. We were more aggitatex than relaxed.
Please make a remaster to this because we love this one so much but do not have the money to get the full version.
Each hint says nothing left to do on each screen, however we have items in our inventory that wont work anywhere. The saltpeter is nowhere to be found even after looking in the strategy guide.

Free game for ipad implies it is FREE. No where in the description does it say this is a trial only. It should clearly state that up front so you dont get involved in a game only to discover it will cost $6.99 to finish playing said free game.
Ok game, but we found the cut scenes, or dialog way too lengthy. Some of the HOPs were not great either – but we appreciate that you offered an alternative. Pop up tasks were annoying. Not a favorite.
This is a fun little game, but at $7, not a bargain for the length. You can literally complete it in a few hours. Should be more like $0.99.
Had to skip several games due to graphic issues and bugs. Some of the games had colors that were hard to distinguish what they matched. Others require 3 matches but reset after finding 2 matches. Very frustrating.
As soon as we paid for this game we couldnt open it.

If every HO game/dev was this amazing Id never get off our iPad! Seriously hits every mark! We love the length, both the main and bonus games were really lengthy. The puzzles were varied, challenging and not ones Id seen a million times. Approvals the controls that let game play customization, as well as puzzle difficulty! Also a huge thing for us is the storyline, Im very opposite of most….we dont like tons of cutscenes/voiceovers and just lengthy text. The story should flow with the game and feel natural in placement with a storyline that actually makes sense. We like a direct approach that doesnt feel boggled down or pointless. Our main gripe is the story part often takes us away from the immersive quality of a game where it should really do the opposite …. Anyhow this was all round perfect! We like the option of skipping however for the first time in forever we didnt have too! The story was direct and just worked out really well for us. Overall amazing game.
Perfect game for us!!! Multiple types of hidden object scenes & unique mini games, as well as 3 separate types of items to search for throughout the game! Well marked map that can be used for fast travel, plus not a ton of back tracking for items. The storyline was fun to follow & interesting. The graphics are crisp & great voice over acting! Multiple skill level settings & achievements list & the tickets you collect can be used to set up your own movie room! Strategy Guide available in the game as well still available on Big Fishs Walkthrough site! The main game & bonus chapter were both nice and long too! To developer…As long as you keep providing quality IOS games like this, Ill keep buying them!!! Its probably already evident but Ill say it anyway…we definitely recommend this game.
How do we find more games like this one.
Lets start by saying the voice of the detective is different, no more glasses you have to use your phone. The game is long and on sale but it doesnt have the feel like the other mystery tales witch we prefer, that being said it still a great buy and the game is interesting enough so to each its own. We just found out that we will get our next game on April 30. We know its a very long wait we think they are giving us 1 a month. We dont know why a new game wasnt released on the 30th. Thats what we were told. Sorry for that. We for one was hoping.

We truly love almost all of the games/series released by Domini, but this is by far our most favorite one to date. Puzzles and Hidden objects searches had fresh twists and were never boring. The graphics and all the little interactive details Domini always adds were even more elaborate and wonderful. The story was engaging and exciting. The lengths was perfect, and Ive already played it twice.
This game is awesome and has a great story! Puzzles are challenging and hidden objects are on point! When Domini games put out a new game, we buy it without playing the trial because we know any game by them will deliver! This is a must buy! (So are their other games).
Interact with ghosts of cinema . Collect theatre tickets, cinema artifacts, movie posters. This was so much fun, great detail. Talk with the ghosts via phone instead of glasses. Help to stop a mad director and free the souls. The color was dark but not too much for a great spooky atmosphere. As usual long but kept our attention this time. Test items in scenery, some neat reactions. This is our type of story wth movie posters, stars, and scary theater. Enjoy.
Ive always loved Domini Games. We bought without playing a scene…Ive never been disappointed in a Domini Game ever. We love the change up from glasses to cell phone. Excellent transport map. Outstanding graphics, along with a great storyline and easy to hard mini games choices. Our very favorite is giving us the option to play match 3 instead of HOA. Yep, you will be entertained for hours playing Reel Horror. Thank you Domini.

Which developer delivers a captivating storyline, creative gameplay, and eerie animations? Oscar nominee Domini Games does! We feel as though there has been a downward spiral in innovational exploration, as some developers seem to be running out of novel ideas to inject within their storylines as well as pioneering twists on gameplay within their HOSs and puzzles. However, thankfully, this perception does not apply to this developer, as this game showcases Domini Games' adeptness in releasing highly entertaining games of superior quality. The suspenseful plot is well-told and maintains our attention, as we use our supernatural powers to save innocent victims from a deranged, ghostly movie director who wants to give them fatal roles in his next movie. Character interaction is intelligently rendered, as you communicate with ghostly victims via calls on your smartphone. The humorous dialogue injects personality into the characters, and we often chuckle at their jocular remarks. We also like the comical e-mail messages sent to your smartphone from Ghost Social, advertising ghastly products such as the Ghost Cleaner. The visuals comprise a hazy purple-ish coloration that intensifies the mysterious, spooky mood. The atmosphere is well-detailed, with plenty of special effects to startle you, such as the creepy dolls that give you an ominous warning of the horror yet to come. We are highly amused at the immersive environmental animations that spring to life upon touch. Be sure to poke around the scenes to watch objects levitate and fall down. Attention Puzzlesauruses! If you are a true lover of puzzles, like ourselves, and you pant and drool at the prospect of losing yourself within a multitude of uniquely presented types, then you will be ecstatic that this game is puzzle dominant. We love the labyrinth puzzle in which you walk around a maze, picking up items to clear the obstacles until you reach the officer. If you prefer HOSs in lieu of puzzles, have no fear! You should be pleased that there is a mixed variety of cleverly executed formats, some of which are multi-layered, incorporating puzzle-like elements to keep you transfixed. Some of the HOSs are story-driven; for example, you use your smartphone to see the "other side" while finding items within the scene. The collectibles always offer more than the feat of discovering them; they are informative and fun to interact with. Transition is seamless; we did not encounter any glitches. Playtime is lengthy and well worth the $2.99 price tag. In our opinion, this imaginative game puts this developer at the forefront within the hidden-object-adventure genre; it is our favorite game of the year so far! Good graphics, varied puzzles, plenty of extras. We enjoyed playing this one very much. Two gripes: ( 1 this is the second time we have posted a review, what happened to the first one? (2 Sebastian is a bore, a one note villain, and thoroughly tiresome by the end of his first appearance.
This game seems very solid. There is a loooong trial period and then it says it is 35 scenes. We didnt have any glitches and the storyline seems very cool. We like that it is on sale for $2.99 and we think this developer will make up for price in volume. The map works well and we like that it shows the collectibles you may have missed. We wanted to write a review before we buy in hopes to entice people to at least try the trial. We are so happy that this developer offers discounts and the Hidden object mystery games as big fish is dead now.. Well at least to us who loved the hidden object adventure games. Thank you! And love that we are now on the mailer list so we can find out about games when they are released without hunting… We will definitely be a supporter.
