We were so rich when we were younger.
Not saying the old interface couldnt have used some tweaks, but the sudden, unannounced drastic change in the interface is ruining the game. Past changes have been advertised well ahead of time, and now without even a note, weve been given the most basic reinterpretation of the entire game. Things that used to be laid out and accessible are now hidden behind multiple steps and in locations that dont make sense and using icons that look amateurish like someone did this as their first UX project. Things dont work right and Im constantly getting notifications for things that are not new. Killing our desire to even play.
This game is just a game that we m always playing on our tablet and the review is. Amazing have a great day.
Everyone that doesnt like this game says its because you just need high level people to win and no formations matter well can we tell you, THEY MATTER SO MUCH. We have a 51.50 in our FORMATION score which we thinks pretty good we have 188k overall damage. This morning we played someone that was only at 80k we were so sure it was gonna be easy to win IN ARENA turns out they had 2 units 1 Here lv 15 and one unite lv 7 and we loss, ANYWAY moral of story this is a fire game and editors yall cooked in making the game / Side-note can you guys add a new mode in territory its getting pretty boring we played everything in 2 hours snd coulsnt do anything else.

The gameplay can be challenging because the on board Ai or game mechanics are screwy, you can have a much stronger army than your enemy, but you can lose because of how the game is set up. Thing that pisses us off the most about this game is how freaking expensive it is, they have 600 gems for $1.99 and thats the best deal you you can possibly get and even that is a rip off. There are some chests and/or gameplay options that cost up to $99.99, and thats not even the most expensive part of this game. Ive been playing for two years and we have wasted Hundreds of dollars on this game, why do we continue playing it? Because its fun! But its still a huge rip off; The developer's are like monkeys beating a smaller animal for fun~ They enjoy the pain and torture they inflict on the rest of us who just want to play an awesome game without having to pay thousands of dollars to keep up with the other armies and units. Leveling up your heroes are incredibly expensive, $9.99 for 10 hero shards which sounds like a lot but actuality is nothing and its just so pricey.

How do you place stuff? We cant figure it out at all, there is no tutorials at all, how do you place stuff.
We had this game on our tablet and Ive been trying to find it.
Been playing the game for a while and we enjoy it a-lot we mean its perfect for resting and just mindlessly playing something before bed but in the arena it makes no sense how we have maybe what?10-50k more power and we end up losing arena points for absolute no reason. Can someone please explain why this happens.
This game gives us courage and bravery and best of all its free so in our opinion this is the best game that we have ever played.

We have played this for over 2 years but its just too easy. We mean, you get new troops after like 2 days and it gets easier and easier can we just buff the enemy troops.
The game overall is good but theres q problem in arena we hate that once you get to a new rank and then the season ends it send u back one rank more then u were used to be plz fix this.

Been playing for years. Got an update in the last day or so and its put us back at level 0 (or 1, depending on the screen). Still have 387M coins, and multiple heroes up to level 15, but all progress is gone. Arena shows Unlocks on Level 0. Very disappointed. Hopefully it gets fixed ASAP. UPDATE: issues have been fixed.
While the game technically wasn't advertised correctly(via it being false advertising as the ads arent applicable to any game mode) the game itself is fun and at least for us, the expedition mode is addictive. Edit: :3.
Since updating 2 days ago nothing works some with Tower Clash last month. Been waiting for updates to fix.
Love the game we play it so much wow.
Its actually really fun just in the ads it looks like you can create formations and like a mapping game but all youre really doing is killing random soldiers and getting money to upgrade or buy new soldiers. Did we mention that this game is totally player-sided? When you battle you could have like one archer and they could have like 19 warriors or whatever and you would just steamroll them, its too easy. We really wanted a game like how its advertised, maybe you can change the advertisements to actual game footage instead of scams.
We enjoy this game on our phone(despite its frequent bugs) but recently that phone crapped out so was hoping to still play using our IPad. Its iOS 12.5.5, game claims to work on iOS 12 and up. But nope. Ive ruled out every other option as to why the game crashes the second we open it every time, and the customer support gave very little effort to help. So guess they just lost a customer since they cant/wont offer decent tech support:/.
Amazing game to play, very family friendly, but a couple things we to say about it. The levels in which you have to do battles anf the exp level up system is def not f2p player friendly, the exp levelingtake forever to reach atleast lvl 20. You gotta be very dedicated and have time to be able to grind on this game and atleast have level 10 heros, which is a problem because most of us have work and it is hard to even try to balance out. Getting both hero and troop cards are extremely hard to continually level up one hero that you want to focus on, people may have a different opinion on it. Good game Ive been playing it for 3 years. Please just make it a little easier for anyone with work/school to balance out.
After only playing for a week, we can tell you that Art of war is an amazing game. Art of war has Optional adds, simple but amazing graphics, and great gameplay. We love that adds are only optional, unlike most mobile games and you get 3x coins if you watch an add after a battle. So when you decide to watch an add, its worth it. Next, the graphics are great! We love the blocky graphics and all the characters look great!! The gameplay is balanced most of the time, but except sometimes we lose a lot of trophies because of people attacking us when we wake up in the morning. Oh and in our opinion mystic store prices are kinda inflated and level nine needs so many hunting medals!! But other than that this is one of the best mobile games out there and we can see ourselves playing this game for a long time. Great job developers!!!! Question: Does the vip count as a first purchase? Cuz after we got VIP the first purchase thing just disappeared. Suggestions: make headhunt missions harder. Even with a few days worth or progress we can clear the levels in a few seconds. Its just to easy. Make it harder!! Also we have a hundred hero boxes!!! It takes to long to unlock one!!! There should be a way to instantly unlock like 3 hero boxes. Oh and the clans. We feel like they should do more. We feel like clans should be able to fight each other in a huge battlefield or something. Honestly clans arent as big as a roll as they should be in the game. Overall great game. This game is so good we just started yesterday and now Im on bronze 2 in the ranking honestly just save up your gems and buy legendary heroes, then you will get good.

This is probably the most entertaining Little game ever to play before we go to bed.
This game has all the makings of a great mobile real time strategy game minus the strategy. Lets face it, phones are not computers so expecting a full RTS experience on mobile is not possible. Thats where this game shines, its very well crafted as a mobile game. The characters look simple but great. The menu with the characters mid battle is a nice touch. Setting up your characters in battle is easy to do. Ive only played for 2 days but we see one major flaw that unfortunately is the downfall of this game. There is no strategy. You just put your troops down and press play. Thats a simulation, thats not strategy. The only thing you can do during battle is move a flag which spawns troops from the barracks. Which we just put right behind the enemy archers not a whole lot of strategy. Now like we said its a mobile game and conquering a huge map in real time with divisions of your army is just not practical on a phone so the small quick battles is ideal. But being able to do more during the battle such as casting spells or providing your army some support in some way would greatly improve the experience.
Its like so fun to play because like you get like coins and like you can do man hunt you can do all those stuff and its really really fun.
Not p2w either and can actually grind to get stuff. We love the mechanics in general and the game.
This game is amazingly good and has so many great ideas. Im not sure if the developers are still working on the game or if its completely finished there also not gonna update it or fix bugs but we have never ran into a bug. This game is kept us entertained for years on and from where we were an iPad kid to a phone teenager. We really really wish developer sees this and says we made a difference in somebodys live today. We are currently working towards to get all of our progress back that we have lost when our iPad broke we will keep playing this game for most likely this we are guessing it might be ours third year on it but our ninth year trying to find it, and finally found it. Ive been playing this game for years and Ive recently gone from Android to iPhone. We are currently unable to access our account, and we havent found anything helpful online. Does anyone know how we can access our account? Context, former phone is not accessible, and we think we backed up our account to Google, but Google isnt a login option for us on the iPhone. The game is pretty fun, especially the expedition part, but we will admit the fighting is a bit boring to sit there and watch your army fight over and over again, but overall a fun game.
We've been playing for over 3 years. The latest version gets stuck on the loading screen for iphone. It just sits there changing the text at the bottom. Turning our phone off and on didn't help. We give it 4 stars because it seems the game crashes more often now than when we first started playing.
Its fun but we want to know how to get more soldiers and to be able to place them around the map better.
