Community Insight:
We like it but as soon as you hit the ice it crashes. We hope this gets fixed soon we would love to see how it ends.
We purchased the full game and cannot get past opening her satchel before the game shuts down. We have restarted the game numerous times as well as hard started the computer numerous times. We would really like to play this game. Help please.
We paid for this game and can not play it so we would like a refund.
Im in the menagerie and there should be a place where we an up arrow to a higher place but it is all black now and we cannot interact. Hint is broken as well. Nowhere to go and no way forward.
Do not buy! Paid $6.99 on game keeps dropping out.
Like others, the game automatically closes every time when trying to crossover to the observatory. After a couple of years you'd think the glitch would be fixed.
Crashed 4 times – couldnt even get 5 min into the game.
It wont download to our iPhone we have tried four times and nothing.
Stopped working. We want our money back.
We paid to play game and it quit 1/4 of the way through. Not sure what we can do but we would like our money back.
It's hard to follow. We reached one impasse in the forrest where we had no idea what to do, it was so confusing. We had to rely on hints to wend our way through. It's fun, but the story makes little sense. The explaining banners and initial texts come and go so fast there is no time to read them. When we are exploring the search or found objects areas, we resent when it wavers and she says "we must focus!" we're exploring the page, and we resent being told to stop it. We have to agree–although the art work is lovely and inventive, the animation in a game like this is like stick puppets. Charge a little more for a better show. Still, it is inventive, even funny when something very unexpected breaks a given barier. All in all, we're having a good time.
The voices are EXTREMELY annoying. And they will repeat every time you click certain objects, so we chose to leave them muted. The puzzles are not too hard, but sometimes the gameplay is. There are things you are expected to do that you would not normally assume so it makes it very difficult sometimes. Not so bad we didn't finish but not sure if we'll play again.
The last 2 puzzles made no sense. Just random responses and all of a sudden we have solved the puzzle. Artwork is great, not too many hidden object games, wish there were more. We wish there were a way to find out what is wanted on some of the puzzles because it would make it more fun to solve them.
Annimation is one step above pong.
Whenever we open this came, we just get a blank black screen.
This magnificent game was created by a company that we hadnt heard of called SoDigital_. The gameplay was reminiscent of the EIPIX series Amaranthine Voyage (the earlier games) and also of Mad Head, to a degree. If you loved those developers creations, you will enjoy this beautiful fantasy. The gameplay was interesting, innovative and lengthy, inclusive of the bonus adventure. Settings were customizable. We were given a marked teleport map. The storyline was basically a Persian fable. The collectibles were morphing rose-tinted moon emblems, and there was an indicator which would turn cloudy once you found each emblem. The graphics were gorgeous and stellar, or should we say lunar? The gimmicks in the game arrived in the form of three different moonlings, each with its own power. You must care for these adorable pets and feed them and then utilize their powers to accomplish tasks. Of course there were other inventory items that had to be utilized, and the game was challenging without being impossible. The element reminiscent of Mad Head was the ability to examine certain items from various perspectives, such as rotating and manipulating these items in unusual ways. We would have loved more of those items! The HO scenes had a little variety and were not constantly popping up, a nice change from having to complete them in every location. There was no alternative puzzle. There were a decent variety of mini-games and puzzles, from rotational types to games of skill, to codes and a maze, so in effect there was a puzzle for every player. Although it was obvious that English was not the primary language of the developer, it was still easy enough to understand the storyline. We had two main gripes with this developer. One was that the moonlings were overly used, and we would have preferred a more varied inventory usage. The other was a quality assurance issue. Several times the game closed down and kicked us out to our home screen, forcing us to restart the game. Each time that issue occurred we lost progress in the game. So we suggest you save your progress repeatedly, because the update that was issued did not fix this glitch. Other than that, the game ran smoothly. Our rating will stand at 4 stars. Play and enjoy, and as always Lynxie says happy gaming to all. Update: Out today, July 15th, is Family Mysteries 3. The first two games in this Brave Giant series were phenomenal. Thanks, Artifex Mundi! Note to all gamers: Dark Romance: Ashville will be delayed due to a need for further testing.
Ive started to play this game, and while Ive always liked most of these games from Artifex Mundi developers, Ive have run across a glitch in the area where you have to balance yourself and walk along the water/ice. As soon as you pass the Ice the game shuts off. Ive tried to get across without skipping this three times and three times its shut down. Please fix this. Thanks Peytons Mom-Mom.
The game is as good as Ive come to expect from Artifex Mundi. But at a certain point in the game it keeps kicking us from the app so we cant continue the game.
Ive not had this issue with any AM game before but when we download this game on our iPad, and click accept of the new terms and conditins the game crashes and we cant play. Downloads fine on other apple devices but crash3s on iPad.
We would love to rate this game 5 stars, but it crashes at the frozen tower entrance. Its a clever and lovely game, but we hate it when we have to delete, re-install, play back to the crash point, then experience the crash Again.
