What Makes Occult Crime Police Stand Out
Murder. Conspiracy. Thought Influencers.
Only you can solve the mystery of Base 24. Comb a government base for evidence, catch suspects in their lies, and unravel the truth, no matter how ridiculous it may be!
Enter the comedic and mysterious world of Boomtown USA, a small desert town with big secrets, and help washed-up police sheriff Miranda Warren solve a murder in a secret government base. Investigate every nook and cranny of the crime scene. Even if something's not relevant to the case, your assistant will probably have something to say about it! Use Persuasion to exploit different facets of a witness' psychology to get them to open up to you! Ask questions, push suspects, and present evidence to uncover the truth during Interrogations.
Seven years ago, a missing persons case destroyed the reputation of Sheriff Miranda Warren. Now, a murder case at the same mysterious government base offers her a chance at redemption. But to reach it, she’ll have to deal with a condescending FBI Agent, a suspect who keeps lying to prove his own guilt, and whatever the hell a “Thought Influencer” is.

Community Insight:
We downloaded this game just so we could actually have a game to play on our phone and we were honestly so happy with it. It was funny, exciting, and honestly kinda challenging at some points. We saw a whole bunch of reviews saying it crashed all the time, so we just saved our progress all the time, but we think it only ever crashed once and if Im being honest we think it was just our phone itself crashing not the app. Overall super fun game, very impressed with the quality, and you should definitely download this game.
Ive gotten half way throughout this game and it is very engaging! If you like ace attorney definitely give this a go we know the art style might not be for everyone but we personally like it, a lot. It just adds character the dialog is charming in its own way and humorous, a lot of personality goes into the dialogue.
We played ace attorney and we really liked that so we went to find more dective, find out the mistery sort of games. And we saw this app and we gave it a try, honestly we glad we did because its awesome. The characters are really cool, we also love the plot and the twists and turns in the story. Over all you should definitely play this.
We absolutely adored playing this game, if you're a fan of detective games like ace attorney, you're going to love this. It's so witty, and funny, and detailed, and we love the illustrations so much and also just everything else. This game deserves so much hype and we better friggin catch a part 2.
Very fun game. Thats it, just play it for yourself B).
Great game. Thoroughly enjoyed the graphics, design, and detail put into the game. Everything was free, and we were immediately hooked. We managed to finish the entire game in one sitting. However, we found ourselves having to constantly manual save because every few minutes, the game would kick us out and we would lose our progress. This happened as we started our second chapter until we finished. Once that bug is patched, this game will 100% deserve a 5 star rating. Excellently done.
Really fun game with great writing. The artwork style, sound effects, and pacing are all like the Phoenix Wright series. The one negative however is that the game crashes often, and the game doesn't auto save so it doesn't just continue where it crashed when restarted. The first crash happens right after the beginning of act 2. We had to save our game right before the 1st crash and keep playing until it didn't crash. After that, the game would crash every 10 minutes or so, so we saved often. Fun game, there is a "secret ending" which we found, and then the longer true ending. Well worth playing (besides the crashes) and we hope the cases continue, and it is less crash in thefuture.
We were so into this game! As soon as we find a contradiction with the suspects story, it crashes! So frustrating, because there is a lot of reading and clicking, but its also fun. If we have to uninstall and install again and start over that will not be fun! Please fix this problem. Im playing on an iPad mini if that makes a difference.
Super fun game, however the app keeps kicking us out.
Great game but it keeps crashing after the first persuasion. Maybe its not for the IPad Air.
There is too much clicking and reading and clicking and more reading and we feel like im reading a script. The conversations dont flow and we dont feel like we're doing anything or playing anything. The game seems to play itself as long as we keep clicking, itll keep going. Can we find an object or is there something for us to do other than read? A voice module might be better than reading but we can make an allowance for that but when each person is talking, can you put the name plate in front of that person with their name so we can tell who is talking? It gets confusing. The cartoon look of it is excellent but its not enough to make us read all this back and forth banter, half of which is unnecessary. This game has promise but its just not the right one for us. Id like to see more investigating and less talking; and when we have to talk, make it short and sweet. Just enough talking so that we get the info we need and it points. Us in a direction.
