This is the best mobile flight game we have ever played. Not only are the graphics beautiful, but the game is just well thought through. The training section is very well done, the missions are actually challenging and creative. As a pilot myself, we much appreciated the fact that you can takeoff and land at the beginning and end of each mission, most mobile flight games dont do that. 5 stars, we recommend you try this game.
For a mobile device sim, this perfect and way better than we expected. Very realistic.

If you are looking for a good air to air combat game abt WWII heres a good game the main menu music may not be registered but its from a game called selndy tubbier III transformation and we think some other might be in there.
This is a great flightsim. However, for some reason the controls are now inverted on our iPad and they werent before. We’ve tried inverting the controls in the settings and recalibrating but the controls are still inverted in the wrong direction Update: After doing a hard reboot the problem has been solved. The controls are back to normal.
Most realistic aircraft game we have ever played thanks sooooo much for making this!!!!!
This is the best air combat game we’ve played since war wings went down. We only have one request. ADD MULTIPLAYER!!!! Please!!! That is all.

This is by far in a way the most enjoyable game we’ve ever played its graphics its play ability even the format for the missions and for survival and for a free flight theyre all exceptionally well done we enjoy this game incredibly so on a scale of 1 to 10 we have to read it at 12.
Though the graphics arent as good as others, it still has a great campaign, and is the only game we know allows you to play from both USA, and Japan! We recommend this to any WW2 Pacific fanatic!
Its the best dogfight game we ever played! Hope to improve the types of the planes. Also, we hope to see Russian and German planes too!
We love the game it has good lighting and resolution and yeah we have only done one mission so far and we like the game at first we thought it was fake but now we realized its a great game.
It may not be popular but it is a great game, we give it a 5 star rating because it deserves it, shout out to the game devs. It has amazing graphics and gameplay, and if anyone says that it has to many adds shut your pie hole. We are not being paid to say this at all not a penny. It may be a little grind but the challenge makes it fun. The devs make it like halo, not too hard but not to easy. We could go on for hours about how good this game is but we are going to end it on that note.

We say this no less than 3 minutes in, this game is amazing.
We really love this game but can you change it so that on free flight you are the allies and there is an allies destroyer and carrier but a japanese plane has a japanese battleship and carrier. Also, can you stop the time to land on the carrier?
It shows the realistic parts of war planes how ever the graphics are a little stale but with much love we believe all of us plane lovers will love it even more.
We think it is a great game in all. But we think you should make it easier to get coins to buy new planes. Because like the first allied mission you have this little plane that has little firepower and can not turn very well. Then you are going up against fully armed bombers, and you have 5 minutes to take them out. If you had more coins you could upgrade the plane or buy another one. Otherwise great game and graphics. Keep up the good work!
As a kid in flight training id say its a lot like real life but we think you should be able to go faster like 450 knots.
The game is great but watching adds to pay for fuel or having a count down timer to get fuel just makes us turn off the game when Im out of fuel, and play it whenever. Unlike all of our other flight games that dont require fuel.
We are stuck on the first mission of the Allies campaign we can shoot down the bombers but cannot land, we have our landing gear down throttle at 50% we crash.
It’s relaxing, same time exciting, same time frustrating. Sometimes the missions are, unnecessarily too long. Hate that there are no "warning indicators". I.E. Climbed to see maximum altitude and simply FAILED for out of playing area, often fly into the water due to no low altitude indicator, and range indicator is questionable or non-existent. Overall pretty good game. Plan to spend some time… Time to complete individual missions and time repeating missions over and over to build credits and rewards.
We the game has unique and smooth animation and the missions are cool but the only flaw is its short variety with planes and missions. We think it would be cool if you added more aircraft and missions with aircraft like the f6f hellcat,ki-84 frank, ki-45, and the b-24.
Why cant the fighter aircraft snap roll, or barrel roll? Fix it!
This game is very good. We would like to talk about the waiting time for after you buy an upgrade or a plane. We think that the waiting times are to long. We bought the wildcat a few days ago and it took about 3 hours for it to deliver. 3 HOURS!! That is to much time. We think that the developers should shorten the time.
The game is amazing! We love the gameplay and everything, but theres one setback. We dont know if its on our side but tilt controls are completely reversed. We tilt down and the plane goes up. We tilt left and our plane goes right. Please fix this. Other than that we love that game.

Ok so wings of steel is a really good game in our opinion but the thing is we wish the game could have a big update like no timer and make it more accurate because on the 15 mission you cant even play it with a corsair until it is modified. The Corsair was used from 1942 to 1945 and and thats more accurate. The timer frustrates us because it is almost like you have buy the mission thats ahead because the timer is like 1 sec sometimes like having yo take out the Japanese balloons in under 2 min. It just seems a little unfair.
Why is the P-39 Airacobra not in this it was a big component for the US Army Air Corp at the beginning of WW2 in the pacific.
Cool, but one thing, you need to have machine guns on free flight, otherwise, the game is amazing, and there are so many things that you can do to make the game more enjoyable. This is the best game on our we pad ever. Keep up the good work!

Wings of steel is one of the best war based games but the one thing that bothers us is that you only have two minutes to destroy four or five enemys with the slow turning in the first campaign. Regardless of that we think Wings of steel is a great game for people looking for a WW2 based plane fighter game.
Dont get us wrong, the game is amazing, but the allied A.I. Isnt. For example, in mission 14 of the allies, the Zeros have amazing aim, getting hits on us every time. But the turret gunners can barely score any hits on enemy aircraft. Keep in mind, both are computers. And we cant even upgrade the B-17 to increase the damage.
EDIT: changed rating from 1 star to 3 star Following the developers suggestion below, the game is significantly more playable and enjoyable. We look forward to the fix coming out. At that point we would rate it 5 stars. ORIGINIAL POST: 1 star for significant problem with controller input. We want to like this game, but it continually inverts flight controls, both pitch and roll. The settings have an inverted control setting, and there is a calibration button in the pause menu, but neither of these do anything to reset either pitch or roll once its (randomly, undirectedly) improperly flipped. Sometimes we can get the roll corrected back by executing hard rolls in a steep climb until it starts to flip, then gently come out of the roll, but in the middle of combat, that is not always desired, especially without any guarantee that that will flip the controls back to the correct orientation. Getting out of campaign and going into free flight mode is the best way to do this so you dont waste precious fuel points getting killed while trying to reclaim your roll control. The pitch control is really screwy – there doesnt seem to be any in-play remedy for when it flips. Someone gave feedback on the game that rebooting their device works – we tried it, and sometimes it works, sometimes not. Sometimes it randomly returns to correct setting. Im getting ready to delete this game, unless the developer fixes it soon. Supposedly problems started with iOS16.1 (according to other gamers feedback) but have not been resolved. Sadly, this game is an utter waste of time if the flight control mechanism is not fixed, which is a pity, as it is a seemingly enjoyable game (even with the ads) WHEN the controls work.
It was GREAT but then we got on our phone one morning and our controls were reversed!!!!!! So freaking lame, your lucky we gave 3 just because of you graphics.
You cant sell your old plane to earn your money back Not enough tools to help for landing well.
This game is good and fun but some campaign missions have higher expectations then the planes that are available for the missions and sommtimes you die because you allies A. We is horrible. Please make these things better and easier or we will give a 1 star review.

We were enjoying the game, until we updated to iOS 16. Ever since we updated our phone, the game controls are backwards. Not sure what happened.
It randomly inverted our controls and in settings there is no way to fix it.
Fun but this is, by far, the largest money pit for a game. Its one thing to have to wait hours or a day for aircraft advancement , etc, or unless you watch ads but the ONLY way you can advance is by spending money. Its also IMPOSSIBLE to advance without spending major bucks on plane technology features. If you dont mind spending hundreds of bucks then play it. If your looking for something where youll take your time to and advance or spend incrementally dont bother. Its impossible.
