We always look forward to new games by Fire Maple. We have all the ones theyve made, both under their old name in the app store and this LLC name. We recommend all of them! If you want a chill puzzle solving game with fun art and music that makes it worth unmuting your phone to play, you cant go wrong with this newest game. We think it has a bit more content than some of their older games, probably on par with the last few. Enough that it took us several sittings to complete, but we are super busy and dont play for more than an hour at a time. Tip for fun: make sure to examine all the movie posters in the theater that you can; some of the fake movie posters and supertitle game commentary on them was quite fun.
We still play all the games Ive downloaded over the years. We love the sense of adventure without getting shot at or killed by zombies. The graphics are great and the puzzles are fun and very steampunk. We immerse ourselves in the Fire Maple worlds and time just slips by. We dont realize how much time Ive been playing until our tablet warns us of the low battery mode. Cant wait for the next game.
This is wonderfully made game without in app purchases , just the way we likem. Developers please continue to update and support this game, thank you.
There seems to be a lot hate claiming that the art is AI generated. One guy says minus five stars. Sounds personal. Anyway, the mention of AI is why we bought the game. Honestly, l cant tell if it is even AI. Looks pretty great. Its not our favorite Fire Maple game, but a solid game for sure.
This game is a work of art! This is a point and click adventure that has its own special character and feel to it. You get a great feeling when you find a unique, unusual object and u then figure out this is the object needed for the puzzle that has been previously unsolvable. Ive played a ton of point and click adventures on ios, fire maple games are alwaysat the top. This game had a good length and challenge we needed one hint because we were stuck for days on it we just hope fire maple keeps making more games!!!!!!! No one makes them quite like fire maple.
We love every Fire Maple Game, and have played them all. This one uses AI art, which we dont mind. The scenes are very beautiful, and the game is just the right amount of challenging. We hope the next one comes out soon.

We have always loved these games, not only for the challenge but for the ambiance of the locations. This game was no exception, perhaps better if possible than the last two! Definitely a must play! Until the next.

Ive been playing games from Fire maple since we were a little kid so Crookhaven definitely brought us some nostalgia. We loved it, we were so surprised by seeing how big this game is theres so much to the story, and the mystery is as immersive and addictive as always. It was really good and we cant wait for more.
Had so much fun exploring this town. Im not great at these escape/ hunt/ click games but these are different because its so beautiful to just wander around the town and in and out of the stores and houses. Love the characters and interactions. So inventive and imaginative. 5 stars.

Ive played all the fire maple games several times ever since the first one came out. Theyve approved so much from then!!!! Ive loved these for so long and we were so happy when we found out there was a new one after cobra. We cant wait to see what else you guys come up with.

We didnt realize this was coming out so soon and was thrilled when our daughter noticed the ads for it while playing another Fire Maple game. Point and click adventures were always our favorite (grew up in the 80s-90s), and these are by far the best of the genre. Gorgeous graphics, no bugs encountered, fun objects to find and utilize, and another great adventure/mystery. We love that our 1st grade daughter can read now and play/solve the game as well (with a bit of help from us). Please keep dont ever stop creating, Joe! Thanks for another zinger.
This is fire maples eighth game. We played all of the others. And we waited for a year or two for them to release a new game. This game is about how you solve the secret of the hiding place of the treasure. We wont give too much away this game has more characters to interact with then all of the other fire maple games characters combined! Definitely worth five dollars. If you havent played the other fire maple games then you should definitely try the other ones. And if you have played the other games then congrats on finding this one.
Terrific graphics decent gameplay and plot. Fun game to play.
We've completed every Fire Maple puzzle game, and this one must be their latest release. Starting with Mystery Manor, which we played as a kid, compared to previous titles where you'd collect a bunch of items in your inventory without knowing where to use them, this installment does a great job connecting the clues. The gameplay flowed exceptionally smoothly, with hardly any major roadblocks. Hints were provided at just the right moments, allowing us to finish in just over two hours. However, the issue with this installment lies in the excessive similarity between buildings. We often found ourselves circling aimlessly around the town. Additionally, many scenes felt overly sparselots of textures applied but only one or two usable clues. There were also far too many NPC conversations. We hope future scenes can incorporate more interactive items. All in all, we're looking forward to the next installment. We hope Fire Maple keeps making theseI'm personally a big fan of realistic-style puzzle games. One more suggestion: the in-game map can be overwhelming. Adding a camera feature to capture clues you want to remember would make it perfect.
It was a different sort of game in that you basically are running errands for people and each errand you get some kind of object you need to find or youre given a clue to an puzzle youll solve later. The graphics are stunning. We wanted to live in this town. The game was hard for us but we still enjoyed it thoroughly.
Its good and all but the ai use just annoys us so much. Its such a cheap way to go about making the games art.
Crookhaven is one of the better games Ive played from this developer. The sequence of the scenes are easy to remember, the puzzles are interesting and intuitive, and there are bits of humor thrown in as well. The photorealistic character portraits are excellent and add to the quality of the game. The only downside is that after a while, our iPhone 15 pro max starts to get really hot and we feel like we need to stop playing the game to let it cool down before continuing. Other than this quirk, the game is great and we hope to see more like this in the future.
Fire maple games used to be one of our favorite puzzle game studios. We played their first game when we were a teenager and had so much fun time with our family members playing together around one iPad, admiring the beautiful environmental arts. And we just cant believe this game is what they decided to put on the market. Horribly rendered AI CGs that dont even blend with characters and interact-ables just looking at the crooked items, distorted houses, and the horrible resolution, we feel physically nauseous we are really disappointed and we will no longer recommend this studio to any of our friends.
This game is INCREDIBLE. Played the whole thing in one go in 2 hours and 30 minutes. We love love love firemaple and hope they continue the good work.
This would be a great game if we could get past the wonky art with bits that make no sense because its AI. Its a paid game, we expected some effort! Plus, knowing we paid a company who didnt support artists is a bummer :( Its a pretty well-made game, but if you want a similar detective game with way better art, play any of Five BNs games.
We love Fire maple games and was so excited to play this one but it is just an AI jumbled mess. If there was real art or pictures or was just like the rest of the games it would be so fun and charming, but it feels bleh. Theres also too many nothing happening screens when you transition from place to place its unnecessary. Stay away from AI guys, its cheap and lazy and ruining the planet.
This game is one of the worst game from Fire Maple. We have played games from Fire Maple from a very young age. They brought us with very sweet memories. But this one, contains way much AI-generated figures and images, embarrassing conversation and plots. Meanwhile, the puzzle designing is lame. Whether the puzzle is way easier or just too abstract for normal people to make their mind come to that specific way. Its good to seeing the game introduce time element, but the creativity doesnt get exert to the level it should be. Devs need to have more bravery actions. Anyway, the 2 stars only for the fire maple brand. For the game itself, deserves a solid 1.
This was so obviously AI generated the scenes had weird blobs and nonsense lettering on posters and books, the people looked strangely uncanny, and the map was so unnecessarily large. We love fire maple games and grew up playing them. The art and scenery makes them so charming, but it doesnt feel like that in this game. Its not as immersive, the story wasnt as high stakes as the others, and the AI uncanny-ness really just took us out of it. Most of the puzzles and tasks were just back and forths between random townspeople. Im gonna go play lost city to cheer ourselves up :).
Fire Maples games have always been an adventure, but this installment was less than stellar what with excessive AI generated art. Their old stock-based backgrounds were corny but cute, and brought much nostalgic charm. Im disappointed at this new direction, and hope to see a return to form with the next. Truly dont mean to spread random negativity – Ive loved every other game, but this just didnt feel like the classic Fire Maple we know.
Ive loved all the fire maple games that have come out. However, we noticed immediately that this game used Ai art. We know Ai can be easier and faster to use and get new games out, but it doesnt look as good and the charm is lost. As well, Ai art is theft. There are currently not regulations and Ai has been stealing from artists without their consent. So if this keeps up we cannot support any future games. We hope in the future the games go back to their charming style and fun gameplay. Which brings us to the gameplay: we felt as though the gameplay was not as good as the other games and there was more fetch quests than puzzles and some of the puzzles as well just felt slightly less intuitive. Anyway we hope future games get back at what we loved about the old games while still give us a new an exciting game.
Ive been a big fan of fire maple games for years, ever since we found Lost City. But we have to say Im the most disappointed in this one of all of them. The AI art was very obvious and did not capture the feeling of the art style of the previous games. Using AI art combined with the fact that this is the most expensive game fire maple has released yet is a combination we were not happy about. In terms of gameplay, we found the puzzles in this one lacking, too many were just fetch quests for npcs. The map is very large and while that seems like it would be a good thing, many scenes had nothing interactive and existed only to lengthen the walk between other important scenes. We spent an annoying amount of time walking back and forth between the same two npcs ferrying messages. If the creator reads this, please take it as constructive criticism. We love fire maple games and want to play more in the future, but not if they are like this one. The AI art took away the charm of the other games and the map and story felt like they were packed with filler to make the game play longer. We hope the next game from fire maple doesnt repeat these trends.
We always loved Fire Maple Games as a kid, and was very excited to play this once we discovered they made a new game. However, all the art is AI and is very sloppy. No effort was put into this and am severely disappointed.

We dont play a lot of games, but we do love FireMaple games. Loved the little dopamine hits while solving puzzles and finding clues. Graphics and story are great and the length kept us interested without being too too complicated.
Ive spent hours searching for point and click games as beautiful and entertaining as Fire Maple games. They just dont exist. Other games are glitchy, have poor artwork, or are overly complicated. We play these games to relax. We want a little bit of challenge in a calming environment. We dont need zombies or jump scares! If youre looking for a game to rush through, this isnt the one. Enjoy the gameplay and graphics. Its a long time between Fire Maple games so take your time.
A wonderful, lovely, pleasurable game. We really enjoyed ourselves. Puzzles are fun and not too hard. Scenery is lush and so beautiful. Its long and big, and totally worth the price. Thank you Fire Maple Games! Looking forward to maze of thorns.
Screen after screen of AI generated garbage. Walls that morph into tables, screwed up perspectives on objects, artwork and patterns that are just smeary shapeless nothings that spill out of their frames… They didnt even bother to manually correct any of it! Sad to see Fire Maple turn to slop like this. Getting a refund and never looking to this company again.
Super cool story, fun puzzles and the art is beautiful. Its a big world with lots to do and things change as you play. Loved it! Thanks for another great adventure Fire Maple.
