Description
The Playmatic contains four simple, ad free games for babies: Magic, Bubbles, Balloons, and Hot Air. There are no ads during game play, no popups, and no settings. There’s nothing that requires adult intervention, and there’s nothing for your child to break.
All four focus on cause-and-effect interactions that are designed to appeal to babies, and they are carefully designed to be baby-proof. Adults have also found these simple games to be calming and satisfying. And the occasional pet (especially cats) like them too!
The Games
Magic: Each time your baby touches the screen, cheerful colors and happy sparks appear, and a piano note plays. When your baby shakes your device, a song plays automatically!
Bubbles: Bubbles float down the screen, and they pop when they are tapped. When your baby shakes your device, all the bubbles will pop at once!
Balloons: Balloons float up the screen, and they pop when they are tapped. When your baby shakes your device, all the balloons will pop at once!
Hot Air Balloon: Hot air balloons float up the screen, and each time your baby touches one, and a skydiver jumps out with a parachute. When your baby shakes your device, skydivers will jump out of all the hot air balloons at once!

Great Baby App…. Our 1 year old has been playing w/this app since he was 5/6 months old. Our 10 year old even enjoys the app as well… They play it together. Simple & easy to use.
We love this app! We were watching our friends’ 1 yr old so we were looking for something fun and we found it. Not only did the baby love it but the 7yr olds wanted to play and they keep coming back to play. Thanx for a fun musical app! The kids say they are going to play the colorful piano. We love it.
It’s perfect for our 13 month old but, honestly, our 6 and 4 year old girls love it too!
Loves it. Grabs for everyone’s phone now. Her favorite, the bubble popping.
No levels, no ads, just minutes (maybe even an hour) of free entertainment for your baby, toddler or young kid. Just what we wanted. Best baby app!

Our son loves this game, but we can’t figure out how to get one game to the next.
Our 8 mos old loves these games. He likes the noises of the bubble & star game. He’s not coordinated enough for the hot air balloons yet.
We like this app BUT for being able to shake the phone to get to the apps home screen. Not suitable for babies and toddler bc of that reason. That’s what babies do is pick stuff up and shake it around. So we always have to go back into the game for him bc he shakes it while pressing the screen. Please change that one thing!
The app is great, but we can’t figure out how to switch screens.
Our son loves this game, but we need to figure out how to turn off "shake to switch screen" lol. He taps too hard!

We use Playmatic to teach cause/effect (for our more involved kiddos), pairing it with the sign/word "more", to help with visual tracking with our visually impaired kids and as a motivator for gross motor skills, I.e., pull to stand (to interact with the IPad ) and cruising both ways, in order to get to the iPad for our developmentally delayed toddlers. The population we serve (I’m a developmental therapist) is age 0 to 3 and they are children with differing delays in development. They, and their parents, love it!
We really liked this app before, and this update made it even better! Our nephews love playing the balloon level and trying to see how fast they can pop the bubbles.
Daughter had a blast before the update. Still doesn’t work on iPhone 4 with iOS 6.0.1 after the latest update… Will put in positive review again when fixed…
This app is great for babies and young kids. It entertains both our 1 year old and 4 year old, and they both go to this app first when they play with our iPhone. They especially love the new hot air balloon level. As an adult, we think the graphics are great and love watching our kids play. Thanks for a great app! Can’t wait to see more from the developer.
We were wanting a simple app for our little guy to interact with. This is perfect, it is a simple straight forward app! It does everything that it promises. Heck, it’s FREE why not download it and try it for yourself!
Our little guy had a great time with this app but since the update it won’t work. We’ve reinstalled twice and its still not working. We’re disappointed.
Would give five but we would also appreciate a back button so we dont have to exit the app when our cousin wants to try another one.
If its for babies why doesnt it change every one in a while. Too hard to change between.
Its so classic that even babies can play it but schoolers enjoy it too! Wish it wouldnt have taken so long to update, but glad it did. Our kids love this game and its not mind numbing.
Great app. Turns babysitting into us just smoking outside while kids stare at our iPad. We just wish there was a timer adults could set that would make a grotesque Freddy Kruger like Face suddenly appear with a loud terrible scream. Not only would it be hysterical to watch the babies reactions but itd definitely help with the bratty ones who fuss when its time for us to get our iPad back to play games. Thanks!
We have had very limited time to use this on our almost 6 month old grandson, but already he is reaching for it. Meanwhile, our nine year old granddaughter loves to entertain herself with it.
Our baby loves this app! Especially the music and light game, he can stare at he screen for a long time! (He’s three months old) we hope they keep adding more games, we love the playmatic!
The app starts to load and then everything just blows up 4x larger than normal size! We tried to click on the ‘APP SUPPORT’ button and that doesn’t work either! Don’t waste your time!!! We also think is funny how the only ones giving it good ratings seem to be related to the developer…
Even for our baby this game is stupid and there are only 2 levels. We wish we could get a refund. Not worth our dollar.
We installed and uninstalled and back again a few times trying to get it to work correctly. Unfortunately when we enter the app it blows up really large and is unusable. Please let us know what to do!
Kept our daughter occupied at a restaurant tonight when she was done and we were not. Only problem was the sound effects as we had to turn it down when people nearby looked at our table funny.
Cute activities but could use a few more interactive pieces. Seems more like a free app.
