Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

El juego es muy bueno y divertido y tambin es un poco relajante para mi recomendara que obtengan este juego.

We really love this game and it is the best we really recommend it for history lovers and Battle people. We love how that we started today and already got some good progress.

We love fighting wild beasts and upgrading our city we recommend this game to people who like adventuring into old times.

Heros of history is perfect for us.

Every portal summons freezes up our iPad (6th gen) and gameplay of 20 minutes overheats it. The game would be engaging and fun if it were playable.

The game is fine but there is a severe lack of communication option there is no way to add friends so u can private chat or a world chat or global chat so u can talk to other players only way u can is through alliance chat which is limiting u to only your own alliance mates id love the ability to be able to communicate with way more players in the game.

Isnt this exact like Rise of Cultures.

Game is fun but the drop rates of 5 star heroes is ridiculous. Even while running there current double chance its still 1 pct it insane. Been playing 2 months and have pulled 2 five stars. Im constantly stuck with little to do in the campaign.

The marketing on this game makes it appear to be a game of history knowledge on the user. It has nothing to do with that whatsoever. Even the part where the user has to do a battle the computer does the battle. The user just watches and from what we saw, always wins. There is a lot going on but honestly, we are SO tired of games that advertise one thing and present something completely different.

The idea of this game is cool. The heroes are cool. Mechanics are cool. However. You need so many resources to do anything. We think when upgrading a hero. Why do we also need food on top of the resource to level. We feel like this game is doing too much and they dont know what to do with all of the resources. Maybe thats because they have another game they piggy back off of because, its practically the same game minus the heroes. And because they are doing this. They are using similar resources for a game thats purely about base building. Fix the resources. Fix the time to do things. We shouldnt be stuck waiting on food to level up heroes because we cant beat one of the beginning campaign levels. But we need to beat the level to get the quest done. And we need the quest done to get more resources to summon for better heroes. So all of that is blocked because we dont have 900 food to level a hero one time. Also with all of that. There is stamina too. Like jesus christ. Can we play the game.

You can only go so far in the game before you need to spend hours grinding in the worst part of the game or spend money. These games are all the same.

Same developers decide to barely update their game for years and then decide to make almost an exact replica of Rise of Cultures and give it a different name because they were tired of updating the old one.

This game is absolutely amazing. Its like rise of cultures 2 or something. Has amazing quality of life changes and we are just blown away. We love this game. We cannot get enough of it.

Been interesting very similar to rise of culture. Wonder if they gonna end that game.

A nice PVE game overall. We did uninstall for a couple reasons. First, the city events. They just require too much time of your day. Then there is the Treasure Hunt. A nice guild activity, but they just changed how it works in that its a lot tougher (requires a wide roster) with no gain to the player for it being harder. Plus it requires at least 4 healers and there are only 3 in the game. Anyway, its honestly worth checking out if you have the time for it.

Ive been playing it since it launched. The game is beautiful, even better than its brother rise of cultures but both the campaign mode and the Tesla storms have become so difficult to beat that the only thing bringing us back to the game are these 4 day rush building of China, Egypt and last time Viking villages. Please make it a little less hard. Again we love it but its become impossible to beat.

Like the game, like the dev team. The higher price point for any crates is prohibitive. Find a way to time grind more options than just purchase trade (expansions/upgrades). The mechanics are great and the same long term player should be the goal. Thanks for the game! Looking forward to it growing.

Yes, you have to spend a lot of money. There is no way around this. Yes, the graphics are beautiful, but there isnt a how-to on what everything means. Without paying for gems, we would have stopped and could literally go no further.

Game is pretty good. We have one complaint, it is asking us to create an account and sign in, but when we do it, its not acknowledging it.

Enjoying game. Trying to link email and its not working. Only complaint.

People saying this is a copy dont have a clue. This company started the genre with Forge of Empires and Elvanar. We think they may have done a peaceful city builder for PC. They change the theme and add new stories to a working formula, so if you dont like slow growth daily okay, ftp friendly games, just dont play, but they are not copying another companies ideas. Personally, this has been a fun new story adding heroes to the forge of empires model. Well done.

We played and tried to confirm our email for days now it will not confirm so have a mission there we cant finish and it kind of pissing us off.

The game has great design and the idea of using historical heroes in battle is so fun. We wouldnt mind spending a little on the game but this is one of the worst monetization systems we have seen in a game ever. There is no pity for four stars and the 5* pity is extreme. Everything is costly for so little. The monetization is probably not wise for the company either. We honestly hope their current system fails so they correct their mistakes because the monetization is so terrible, and the game behind it is quite good. Energy system is a little grindy also and there needs to be a faster auto battle with less clicks.

Various bugs in the game while you battle. Some of the animations make the game look cheap and rip off. The characters look great though and tons of fun.

Its not a bad game. Ive played off and on since it was brand new. With this latest build though Ive found a couple things that could be fixed to make it better. First in leveling up toons. Level 20 being the rub. In order to up them past that you need items from the level nine section. Well your fighting toons in the high 17s and 18s from about the level six section. So either make the materials to level them up drop earlier or do away with the items all together and just increase the required scrolls. Secondly how about increase the size of land unlocks. We run out of room fairly early and so unlocking greater sized areas would be very helpful.

Much more interactive than Rise of Cultures, which we still enjoy.

As a long time player of Rise of Kingdom, this is a fresh update for the game. Similar graphics but new mechanics. Whats annoying is the game keeps crashing several times a day on our iPad (its fine on the iPhone but dont like playing on the small screen, too much going on) we dont know why they cant fix this problem.

So far so good. A bit confused as to how and when we should do things to advance. But its been a challenge we enjoy.

We love this game when it allows us to play it. The kick outs are so bad we cant do much.

Amazing graphics and awesome base builder.

We like it because is history but a game its fun and you can learn about new peoples from history and at the same time have fun.

This would be a great game if it didnt crash every time we try to start a treasure hunt encounter. Playing on IPad.

Its great to have interaction with history like this.

This game is both immersive and educational. Which for us is great fun. Cheers.

We want to be able to tell the game that we have it on a different device so we dont have to restart all of our progress.

It teaches us our history character.

Tutorial is fun. Definitely pay to play but fun as an FTP player.

The game is well built and standard in many aspects. However, the standout is the weekly build off. It is a lot of fun with new experiences each week. We would like the devs to offer more ability for f2p to advance but the free gifts if you participate are amazing. We would like to also request the devs make hitting all rewards a little easier when you invest. Im looking forward to new competitive maps. The devs should consider have players compete against each other using certain heroes during that weeks build off.

Was a fun game for awhile. Now cant upgrade heros without winning battles. Cant win battles unless upgrade heros. A catch 22 that makes the game not playable. No customer support either.

The concept of the game is great. Progression is slow, and not because of difficult gameplay. But because resources are just at a snails pace unless you wanna pay to buy them. This game would be a five star if we were a millionaire.

This is a good battling game with history love it.

One can play this game without spending money and not get stepped on by the big spenders. In some events its impossible to get all the rewards without paying for them, but not all of them. The arena matchups can vary widely, but with patience one can succeed on ones merits rather than on ones bank account. We really appreciate this and Im sure others do too. Its engaging and fun and no one is permanently consigned to second rate status: a drawback endemic to games of this type and blessedly absent here.

Im really having a lot of fun with this one after having played their other series. There is so much to do, in a good way. Dev is responsive as well.

Be a lot cooler if they added William the conquerer, actually we hope they just keep adding people its nice.

Not enough days in the other citys events. Also a new city would be cool. Also more days on the little events to get prizes.

The game, as it is, is perfectly fine and quite simple, satisfying, and very fun to play. But, Im a little dissatisfied with how, despite being the direct successor to Rise of Cultures, infantry units have been reduced to the point of forgettabilityunless youre fighting them, anyway. The Heroes should and always be the all-stars of the game, but we would like to see the return of the previous unit system to supplement it. Besides all the potential for creating your dream army and commanders from various eras, its also symbolic of actual history, with people like Napoleon, Caesar, Alexander, Boudica, and so many more being legends, yet also leaders and generals of actual armies. From a gameplay and thematic standpoint for what to game is, this addition is a must, and it simply can be copy-pasted from Rise of Cultures and fit perfectly.

Game play fine graphics fine story meh we are a Huge fan of Tesla.

We love the graphics. Is a little laggy at times and has lots of opportunities for watching ads but, no forced ads. Overall a great game.

Its true you can play for free, but any progression beyond a snails pace (this makes a snail look fast) requires money. The fact that there is so much to do is both good and bad. This game is unusual in that you really need to progress a lot of your heroes. You cant rely only a few. And progressing them is agonizing. This leads to one of the biggest problems with the way things work. Equipment. You need Embers to progress equipment Not only is gathering them slow, but each attempt to Level Up has a probability which decreases as you go up. A super frustrating thing is that by level 8 you are down to Medium. Wouldnt you think medium is about 50% more or less. Our experience over dozens of attempts is that it is way less. We have frequently had 6 or more straight failures at Medium. This process is enough to make you want to throw your device against a wall. One other major flaw is how often necessary stats are not immediately displayed where needed, but you have to back out to find them. The worst Ive seen is when battling and you temporarily run out of stamina, a pop up offers you two methods to replenish (including spending gems) but there is no display of how much you need so you cant make an intelligent choice. Finally, connectivity is fragile. The game crashes multiple times per day, often in the middle of a long battle. We have had this in multiple wifi locations on multiple devices.

We absolutely love this game and our honest is opinion is that it is one of the best games on the market. Anyone who loves history, should have this game. Its creative and original. We do have one suggestion however. There is a certain character that we really, really want. We unfortunately dont have the ability to spend lots of money. Our suggestion is that when a person first signs up, using an email, that they be allowed to choose one and only one character of any star level. Still love the game, but that would be an awesome gesture toward those of us who love this game.
