Im rating this one star because no matter what the game never saves our progress. We have gone through the very long tutorial four times and our progress has been undone every time. We will be uninstalling this game. Im disappointed because it looked quite good and has very nice art and visuals.

Its a pretty and magical-themed city builder with cool marketing… And thats all we have good to say about it. This is easily THE most boring and pointless game we’ve ever played. The wait times for resources and builds are ridiculously long and there is no pay off. You build, wait and level so you can build and wait more. It becomes increasingly tedious as you grow because you only earn more and bigger tedium. There isnt even an interesting combat component to it. Combat is rock, scissors, paper with no strategy or even a battle to watch. Skip this game despite all the shill reviews. Read reviews on other sites and youll see that few real players have anything good to say about it.

This is a reskinned version of FoE. We’re not really a fan of either game. First of all, why do they make these games so difficult? You can’t rotate buildings, research points take forever to regenerate. It’s a ridiculously long time, hours on hours. We don’t know why we can’t get a fantasy kingdom builder that doesn’t involve military strategy in the package. Possibly because war buffs sell in the market. For now, this isn’t what we’re looking for. We do miss City of Wonders.

We love this game a lot. We go back several times a day. Just wish we had more diamonds.

The game play mechanism is good but property management is very very frustrating. It almost seems that dev is doing it on purpose. 1. You cant rotate the map to get a better view from another angle. 2. You cant rotate building so you can fit your building in a position to create additional property space. 3. You cant move your buildings outside of available property space temporarily so you can reorganize your map easier. Now lets say that you managed to use every square of you available space, now you want swap builds position. You cant do it!! The only way do this is to sell a building to create that space, move the build, then buy it back. When you sell you make a loss on it. 4. Buildings you gain from an event, once you put it on the map, thats it. You cant unsummon it. You can only sell it and you gain nothing from selling it. 5. We are stuck because we created building that takes 5×5 squares that it is useless because we put it right next to the main hall assuming it is connected with the main hall we dont need a road. Now we cant even get rid of it and we cant create additional space to put it elsewhere. Very frustrating. At least if #2 can be changed this game will be a much better game.

We dont understand the hype of this game, Im maybe 30min play time into it and am stuck where the guy says to explore the world and negotiate or whatever but after clicking every single thing on the screen there is no way you can explore. There is no explanation as to where to go or what to do so basically we can close this game down and delete it before moving any further. At least we didnt spend moths on it before getting stuck, no thanks. There are plenty of other simulation/city building games that are better built then this.

Alright so we have no clue which one is more famous or even cool, but this game seem like a complete copy off from Forge Of Empires! Why? 1. The load screen is a future kingdom, just like Forge 2. The game starts out and teaches you to build but every house needs a path connecting it to the center… JUST LIKE FORGE 3. The research points? SAME AS FORGE OF EMPIRES! 4. Literally looks the same as Forge Not to be mean, this isnt a hate letter, just saying that its seems like you guys just added elves to the game. It would be better if the game was different.

We hate to say this, but Im addicted to this game! Before real life kicked us around with time constraints, we had 10 cities! Finding a good fellowship is sometimes a challenge, but once you do, its a blast. There are no other players raiding your city and stealing your goods, either. Not a fan of games like that. Tournaments are weekly and important to the growth of your city. Fellowship Adventures are fun, but sometimes a challenge to coordinate. Graphics rock! Events are great because you get time and supplies boosts, plus needed spells. When you first start the game, it looks simple. It is not! Makes you think! Theres a lot to know about this game and thankfully, there are resources in and out of the game that help. Plus, some players are a whiz at this game. You can play without buying boatloads of premium currency (diamonds) and thats a challenge, too. We love challenges! A couple of complaints are these: in-game chat is not stable and is frequently out of commission. Messaging is better and is finally available on the app – took them long enough! However, messages only last so long. Emojis are finally available on PC, but not the app. Anyway, weve had to resort to an outside gamers chat app to hold information we need and to chat. Next request for the app: please make it so you can apply KP to others Ancient Wonders! As with any game, there are good and bad aspects, but overall, this is a fantastic game!

Was playing the game on our iPad it had a bug delete it and now it trying to charge us for a new game , works on our iPhone but not on the iPad.

We play the game a lot but in talking with the pc players in our fellowship we have learned there are MANY things that you cannot do on the iPhone. In writing to tech support they make promises of coming upgrades repeatedly. When asked for dates you cannot get one. Our advice is play the game on the pc.

We enjoy building a city, doing quests, and figuring out how to balance growth, sustainability, and being competitive within a fellowship structure. The game allows you to show your personality and have fun while supporting others.

Have played for a couple weeks and have built up our city. Decided to register our account, but discovered that we must have downloaded this app in the past sometime, so game wont let us use our current email. Support asked our questions, but when we tried to submit, game crashed. We rebooted and discovered we couldnt log in. When we finally was able to reset our password, we logged in only to discover the game had us start all over. Very frustrating….. Just want others to know before you invest time.

Okay, but we cant change our name to Gaylord so that kinda bummed us out.

Hi developers this game is awesome no changes needed.

Just started but it is going great.

Its a great game when you start playing, but almost instantaneously it takes forever to advance. It costs a lot of skill points and resources to unlock new technologies and you cant defeat provinces early on because they put your troops against much stronger troops. Youre not able to match it because unlocking new troops wont happen for a very long time. So, youre basically stuck waiting for skill points and resources to unlock new troops to advance. Kind of defeating.

Game needs a BETTER tutorial, items need more description on what they do, campaign needs to have some kind of system showing how many enemies your going to be battling instead of waiting until the end, soldiers need more descriptions on stats, power, moves, etc. In reality we would just revamp the whole game. It does have potential but where it stands right now the game needs a lot of work. Buildings that produce goods need to be producing more per time allotted or lower the time requirements for each production. The production and reward after are extremely confusing. You produce water and gives tools??? You produce wood armor and it gives steel…. Little things like this will kill a game faster than flash raced Superman. If a better update comes out might rerate the hame but right now it deserves **

Im pretty much done with this game! It was enjoyable in the beginning and now its just frustrating. They dont make it easy to expand your territory! If you need to build a workshop, you need more culture, if you dont need culture, you need people so you need more houses. By the time you go through the hoops of getting more culture, more houses, and more training areas, you have run out of room to build the dang workshop you just wanted to build in the beginning. These workshops also dont produce enough product to keep moving forward unless you have the space to build 4 -5 of them. Looks like Ill keep looking for a nice, enjoyable, easy, fun game.

Yes this game is slow for upgrading things but that ok since we work and Im busy with other things. We just start production before we leave for work and when we get home everything is done.

This is your basic hurry up and wait game. We like it. It is fun and not complicated. Our biggest issue is we cannot sign up. It keeps faulting out and force closing when we try to put an email and password in to use so we can play across platforms. Is this aniPad only issue? Well see what the devs have to say.

The only thing we dont like about this game is that you cant rotate the buildings or put them in your inventory so you can rearrange your city to make better use of the space you have.

While this started out as a fun game we have found that everything takes too long to accrue, and you cant earn resources fast enough to make progress in any kind of timely manner. Also why does the value of the resources keep dropping??!! While Im still waiting for them?? Not even worth playing anymore and we only have had the game for less than a day.. Sad..

This is a great game to play to wind down from the day. There are contests to win prizes. We would be happier if the amount of goods required to win these prizes were easier to acquire. We’ve been playing about a year, & it is still a huge challenge to reach levels high enough to win the top prizes in the time allotted to the contest. We (myself & the 22 other players in our fellowship)play everyday & love the game, but winning the prizes would make us 5 Star Happy!

They want but really do not give total grind with no real action everything screams hey give us all your real money and we will give you barely anything. Just uninstalled. Its a pretty game but not worth real coin.

Boring as hell. Great if you aspire to being a city planning bureaucrat.

The game is slow and boring. We tried to speed it up by buying a package of diamonds. We DIDNT RECEIVE THE DIAMONDS AND MY ACCOUNT WAS CHARGED! Customer service is nonexistent and the customer support screens are useless. This is a slow, boring game that takes your money and does not give you what you pay for. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!!! Only 1 star because they dont have a symbol for theft. How trying something novel. Have a live person to help customers.

Do not buy no diamonds on this app cause Im for sure you may not get them. We had trouble all week with support not wanting to give us our diamonds after we purchased them and we even showed them a receipt.

We’ve been playing this game for about a year. Im hooked and log in daily. Maybe our favorite part is its not a rush to get to the finish. We play on iPad and computer. We love having both options available. Graphics are nice, staff puts on engaging sometimes hilarious videos for information on events. We’ve got good customer service to two times we needed it. The Wiki book has everything we’ve ever needed to know and found a great fellowship. We opened up 5 different cities. Three we’ve promised myself not to spend diamonds and while they go slower we are enjoying developing them. Kudos to the art department. We dont find it a challenge but fun to move things around as the buildings get bigger.

And it feels like they’re just gotten progressively harder since last spring. It now requires a Minimum of 50 ribbons to open a single box, depending on the Task requirements, getting 50 ribbons could in some instances take a whopping 24 hrs, and in order to clear an entire board of 16 prizes it would take 800 ribbons!! Or you can spend 500 Precious diamonds for 2 prizes, which, as always, may just turn out to be JUNK. If u don’t have enough ribbons to clear the board before the next ‘shuffle’ u don’t get the grand prize of the day. Very frustrating… We don’t think something so hyped to be an exciting EVENT, should be so slow moving to build ribbons to win, Frankly, the fun of the game itself is slow Enough, the events should be quick, and fun, and ensure Real prizes for all, not something we can build on our own In 2 hrs… That’s no Prize! .. And the fun balance is lost becoming disappointed by watching great prizes go by that you won’t obtain. Just one players opinion, but it saddens us the events feel nowhere near as much fun as they once were.. But we’re still hanging in there. For now.

Elvenar is not so much of a building/construction game as it is an exercise in resource management. Early on it was fun as you completed quests, grew your city & marched through the tech tree to get bigger & better things. Now, because of slow development, lousy customer service, mobile phone limitations & the expense ($ £ ) of progressing in later stages of the tech tree, it is labouriously tedious, too repetitive & haltingly slow. Our Fellowship (or Guild) keeps us in the game, but that wont last.

We never imagined that any game could capture our attention as this has. We’ve been playing for years now and have not lost interest. Great players to play with. Highly recommend if you enjoy puzzles.

Need more stuff not requiring diamonnds.

Game is great so far. Just dont get in a hurry. We closed out our FaceBook account years ago. So we dont FaceBook or Utube, that leaves us out of some of their stuff.

We love this game! Although the houses and other buildings cant rotate, we enjoy it.

We do like the game, but its pretty complicated and theres much we dont understand. No instructions on how to use the Trader!

We really like this game, but its becoming too frustrating to play. It takes forever to gain land, which means we cant advance because you need land to upgrade, gain resources, etc. Its also impossible to rearrange… We’ve never seen this in any other game. Events are fun, but we cant use anything we earn because, wait for it…. No land. So Im stuck forever trying to earn resources to negotiate because we cant upgrade anything else to build up army without land. We would definitely give 5 stars and play more if we could have storage and obtaining land was more reasonable.

First we want to say very good game for a sim. But this game has a bug that needs to fixed. The work shops some times doesnt respond to continue producing items. This has happen several times. Please fix. We tried restarting game and we cleared history. That didnt work.

This is crazy no matter what we can not get into our account we change the password 3 times and it keep saying error password wrong or it would say wrong account forget it. Delete. Waste of time.

App works great BUT. . . Lacks support for important fellowship features. No knowledge point donations to Ancient Wonders is a real impediment. In other areas the app exceeds features of browser! PLEASE InnoGames, implememt all basic features in the phone app!

Really fun game. Once a day checker.

Anything with Elves gets our immediate attention.

Its really fun to play, but there is one problem. For the fellowship, and the invite members search is horrible they both need a search bar.

We love the game. We’ve been playing for years. However, we recently upgraded from an iPhone 6s to an iPhone 11. The dip at the top of our screen for the speaker and camera cuts off important parts of the game. Either the announcements or the messages buttons get cut off(depending how our phone is flipped). While this is manageable, its annoying having to flip our phone to access features. Another thing that isnt ideal is that we cannot switch between our different worlds on the app. We can only stay on one. On the online web version, we can have multiple world. Other than these two things, we enjoy the game quite a bit.

We’ve been playing for about an hour, and so far its pretty relaxing and fun. However, we just spent the last of our knowledge points to research an area expansion, and then our last 200 supplies to activate it. But when we went to select the expansion spot, we were told we still needed to finish exploring a province to earn the expansion. Effectively wasting our knowledge points and supplies. The feeling of being ripped off has kinda killed the mood for us. Might try to play later, might not.

Trying to buy spent $19.98 for Rubys and it exit us out of the app we wont back in it says failed to process if you want to retry mash OK So we did it again charge us 39. And some change did we give us no regrets whatsoever Can we communicate with these people about the problem and overcharging us our bank disputed it and the bank told us they declined it because we didnt say nothing to him about it which was a lie Ill text them on the app no response iTunes do not care about the customer so Be aware of items and how they treat people then we get no satisfaction tried talking with him but the number they gave us was a recording and you could not talk to him.

Its a little hard to figure out how to research without spending a lot of real money to buy diamonds, but we think we’ve got it figured out. And the game wont let us create a Login password, so we cant ask questions in the Wiki, because you have to use your player name and password to join the Wiki. We’ve tried to look for how to create a password but cant locate it anywhere and cant join the Wiki to ask. Also, we keep getting notifications about a tournament (or whatever they call it) but when we click to join it, nothing happens. So we dont know how to gain the benefits of that feature. Other than the confusing parts, game play is fun.

We downloaded three civilization building games several months ago. Elvenar is our least favorite and here is why: the game requires a ton of patience or real $ to get anywhere. We did spend a lot of $ and still am unsatisfied. Its not that consumers wont spend, we just want to see results after spending. This game requires $ to build, to fight, to win chests (and often, the prizes are not worth it). We always feel like we never quite achieved something good when we log out. In comparison, Forge of Empires and Puzzle and Empires both reward us for time spent and money spent. We are proud of what we have built in those games… And the strength we have to do things inside those games is rewarding. Elvenar keeps us feeling like we can just never quite get there. After way too much money. Im capping this game and moving on.
