Lots of damaged saves and its easy to get stuck in the water for some reason, but its such a high quality, weird journey. Really a bargain price for it and worth putting up with the bugs.
We love this kind of games the old west style looks amazing and we love the main character design.
For the time when it released even until now it has done well its an all around game that hits a lot of nostalgia to us.
We like how you have to hunt for ammo and we like how the character runs.
We love this game played it when we were like in 3rd grade back in the early 2000s we been trying to get the Xbox original version to work but the disk is in bad shape but still works we looked up other ways to play it & sadly Xbox one only has it in Argentina & Nintendo only has it here but besides that luckily we found it on the Apple Store for the cheapest price & remastered! Even better.

Full console game but adapted for iPhone. Open world. Hilarious characters. Fun weapons. And the controls work great on the phone.
Ive got an iPhone 15 pro, and this game launches to the Square 1 screen but no further! Would love to play it if we were able. Hoping if we can run it it will support our controller at least. Great game! Just play it somewhere else until they fix this.
Everything we wanted from this port, however, the game saves get corrupted about 30% of the time so we had to save 3 times every time we saved to ensure our game would be safe. Incredible game though, amazing work.

As the title says, this is our first time playing the odd World Series in general and this game as well and Ive been having nothing but fun and a good time playing it. We dont mind the graphics and stuff like that. We love older games and as long as they play, good, Ill be there as of now. We have a backbone like phone controller too, just to enhance/help with fluidity & more controls to make the experience even more optimal. But if you have to use the screen itself, it may take some time to get use to. But we have no doubt that youll enjoy the game we highly recommend this game if you have a couple dollars to spend. Glad we bought it Playing currently on iPhone 15 with a razer kishi and enjoy it just as much if not more as our other 7 consoles. Only because this is with us anytime we want to game on !! 5 star good game classic game.

The controls work surprisingly well for the FPS aspects of the game and most all of the original character of the game is maintained. Probably one of the best ported games Ive played on iOS.

This game is great. Its pretty smooth but it has been a year since any adaptation and we think it deserves a 3d filter added as well as a small hd overhaul? Maybe smoother combat? Our only complaint is that we think people may have a harder time playing the game without a stronger target assist.
Played this game on the original Xbox. Was great on Xbox and is great on a phone. Little more difficult but the adds to the interest in the game. Worth the money.
We missed out on this as a kid. We didnt have a Xbox when it came out. But we always thought it looked great. Im not disappointed, even on touch screen this plays great. Well worth the price too.
Everything js perfect except sound and textures hope for HD update in 2020 update :-) game is just wonderful and perfect we think the best game on the phone :-) great story fine graphics really we are so glad that we bought this game :-) worth every cent :-) ps update it for mouse and keyboard support (ipados) :-).
That was our first experience in Oddworld. What an amazing and charming storyline. We hope they will announce part 2 someday. Strangers storyline impressed us significantly and that octopus at the end suggests that we should see part 2 in near future.

We never played this Oddworld before, and this is an amazing experience! Its funny and has satisfying gameplay that got us addicted! Very surprised how much fine this game is after skipping it for so long! Ive played the other games in the series before, especially Abes Oddysee and Exodus when we were a kid on the PS1. We love these games, and all we ask is for 60FPS support.

We enjoy this game its. Cool to see the OddWorld game in an different style. Its a shame it wont run on our iPad 2 even through it downloads, Im tech guy and like to see how older iDevices handle intensive apps.
Keith Richards once said something to the effect of, 90% of everything is crap. Perhaps this doesnt apply to nature, but when it comes to man-made things, especially creative ventures, this seems to hold true. Im pretty sure we played this on the original Xbox, and it was one of those standout games. It was fun to play, immersive, creative combat system, great soundtrack that really fit and atmospheric. When it ended we were sad to see it go. This is one of the few games where Ive felt like that. We made an emotional connection with our character and his journey, and it was so awesome that it was a bummer once it ended. The only game that has really hit us like that since has been GTA V, story mode. The word cinematic comes to mind. Im very happy to report that our little Roto riot plug-in controller works with this so that we dont have to mess with virtual buttons on the screen and all that nonsense. According to the other reviews, though, it seems that the controls on screen work pretty well. Anyway, this is one of those titles that is totally worth it to buy at$2.99. Give it 30 minutes and youll be hooked and you wont regret it.

We were blown away when we first played this game on xbox. Having only previously played Abes exodus we had no idea what to expect and this game is vastly different but the world, gameplay and story here are top notch. Controller is required and it really needs to be played on a big screen. Things can be hard to spot on a small phone screen.
We remember the Odd World Series quite fondly, though we admittedly couldnt get passed the first few levels in Abes Odyssey. This game is pretty good on the phone, very much a portable game. A couple issues though, the controls seem slippery and difficult to maneuver. Often we find ourselves tapping on the same button several times before it responds. Also there seems to be an issue with save files constantly getting corrupted. Not sure if thats something being fixed or if Im saving wrong.
Love this game, but the third person camera gets stuck.
So yeah this game is great but there is a problem with the saves all of our auto saves become corrupt. Otherwise great game.
Touch controls are meh The graphics are like the console variant of this game. Plays ok ish. Other wise odds world with odd controls.
