Community Insight:

Thought provoking…as can be expected from one of Amir's games.

How's it going? In pursuit of some beauty, perhaps even poetry, as an unexpected result of entertainment? Try it and support it.

This game is amazing and Id like to thank the developers. So. Thanks… Id rather wings. We should all hold onto hope. Everyone should have hope. We matter what theyre going though. Some of us have a different hope. For us its not a hope but an assurance. And assurance that Im going somewhere better. But not because of us. Because someone else did something for us.

Played every one of this creators games, and every one of them is amazing. This one specifically was awesome because of the music, as well as the unique and gameplay. Words cannot express how amazing these games are, you really have to experience the work of art for yourself.

Simple, yet entertaining. Funny, yet serious. Thought-provoking, yet at times juvenile. This is what mobile gaming SHOULD be. Something simple that ISN'T a microtransaction hell or a grindfest with no substance, yet has enough meaning and effort and value to keep the buyer engaged. We support this. We support Amir. We've bought all of his games (that we know of) because they're exactly what we need when we have nothing else to do and want to have FUN. Play on, people. Keep going, Amir. Until next time.

This is what this game gave us.

Thank you for another beautiful game Amir! We actually really needed this message of hope today. More games when youre able please.

Its a lovely, meaningful experience it makes you think its very short but its message is clear and it even gets easier if you havent mastered the controls haha we love every bit of this game and every game this man has made we hope we can experience several more games by this man in our life time we wish we could give this wonderful developer more than 5 stars.

Give indie games the recognition they deserve. We love all of Amilami Rajan's games. They are so relaxing, peaceful, and interesting beyond anything we expected from text scroll indie games. GIVE ME MORE PLEASE.

A game with a much deeper meaning that just a little circle.

The finest indie developer with another masterpiece. Play it with headphones. Let the non-story move you.

Hope Not our favorite game of his but his games always deserve a 5* in our book, an awesome dev and an amazing story teller that makes you look into yourself as you play any game of his! You are seriously an awesome dev and we hope you keep making more games just so we can keep buying a game from a dev as amazing as you.

We cried at that one part. We wasn't ready. It came up so fast. Thank you again, Amir, for a third emotional adventure.

So so so so very good. Thank you.

This game has inspired hope but we wish the you still bounced and not use the compass it had more of a challenge.

Amazing game, just take a trip to 2-dimensional world of this game.

Hope… We now have hope for Mobile games.

Two years later and the message rings even more true. Never give up that hope, Amir.

Found this game back in May 2015, and there is still replayable value! Every update Amir adds something new or improves the story. So naturally with every update we replay the whole game reading out load the amazing narrative. The music is also phenomenal so play with headphones! Looking forward to the next update!!! Update: 1 year later and we still play this game. Compass makes this game 10x easier so there is no reason for you not to buy it.

Another great creation. Can't wait to see what's next.

Please… Stop looking at the reviews and experience this masterpiece yourself.

Lovely little art game. Hope your team keeps making these for a long time! Thanks especially for dynamically adjusting the difficulty after we die 5 times in a row.

Such an amazing game. We could go on and on about the simple yet efficient controls, or creative designs, but that's not important. What is important is the message this experience tries to showcase. Hatred, because something is different, cannot always be trumped, but hope always remains. And we must hold onto that hope.

What a wonderful story. We enjoyed this game quite a lot and can't wait to see what their future holds.

Such an excellent game. The soundtrack is phenomenal, as well as the writing. We love the concept of Flatland in Edwin Abbott Abbott's book, but this takes it to a whole other level. Thank you for this wonderful that made us laugh, cry, and scream in frustration. We hope other people are moved by the powerful message you tried to convey as well.

An amazing game to test your patience and skill. You never know when the game will actually end…and that's the most fun part. You get attached. Would definitely recommend.

One of the best games you'll ever play.

What? Can you hear us… tap tap Anyone home?? Welcome to the review of this game that you are contemplating purchase. A man walks into a bar….No A sloth crawls into a local hardware store, with sweat on his hairy green brow he wipes it away with his distinctively red bandana. The clerk shoots the sloth a look. "What is a sloth doing in a hardware store?" He thought to himself. "They are the laziest of all creatures." Before the clerk could speak the sloth stops him and hands him a card on which there was writing. It reads… Dear store person, we are a sloth and have spent the majority of our life hanging around and sleeping. We're a lazy creature. Today we played a game called "This is the Title". It truly inspired us. Tomorrow is a brighter day… We will do more with our life.

Love this game… Good idea and fantastic illustration.

This game was amazing! We've enjoyed the entire storyline so far and can't wait for more! The feeling you get when u beat a tough part really is great and also getting a new high score is. Anyway great game would recommend to everybody on the App Store. Need to get rid of the compass because of how easy it is, but overall one of the best games on the App Store.

We've been following the development of this game for nearly two years now. We've seen it grow before our eyes, month after month, update after update. From nearly nothing to something that's made us cry, made us groan in frustration, made us feel awe. Every time we play it we can feel the love and care that was put into every pixel on the screen, every string of code, and every sprawling sketch. Thank you for your time, thank you for your passion. For two years you've given us a small oasis within the jumbled chaos and unforgiving hardships of life. Don't ever stop playing your violin.

This game is stunning and extremely well made. We truly enjoyed playing it.

This made us cry and we just love this so much and we agree and it blew our mind and ITS SO BEAUTIFUL (also add an option to switch between compass and old controls plz we do like both if them).

You want to play this. Like art? Play this. Like a story? Play this. Like Flatland? Play this. Don't like the ramblings of a developer? Don't care, play this. Are you the developer? Hope. And once again, Hope. Yes we went back and played it again. So beautiful.

It's such a good game! Frustratingly difficult, but do fun! The new update however (with the blood on the icon) was downloaded and crashes before it opens! We're on a 9.3.5 IOS software. Yes it's outdated, but it's what we got! Look forward to the game(s).

Storyline is impactful but we beat it in 30 minutes. Storyline 100/100 controls 3/5. Game 5/5 length 3/5.

Nice game although we feel the controls should have been tighter allowing control over the precise direction you want to go toward and the precise distance you want to go and the current controls just don't do that for us. We also felt the explanation about the size of flatlanders was way too long and just skipped most of it.

It keeps crashing, please fix, we don't want the money used to go to waste for nothing.

It's just too hard to control. We deleted the game.

So, we downloaded the app and everything went smoothly but when we went to open it the icon had these red circles on it? They looked like blood or something smudged. We still opened the app and was greeted with a black screen and record static that eventually cut out and crashed and went back to our home screen. Did something go wrong? Is this an update, can it no longer be played? We REALLY want answers. It's scary. We had really high hopes.

The old game was amazing, relaxing. What happened? The new sketch style is clunky and cheap looking, and the movement is terrible. Please bring back the old circle.

We've had this on our list for a very long time. We've played lots of games in our time and iOS games like these are the most underrated of the gaming world. We're always searching for a new narrative experience and we rarely give up on one. But we couldn't finish this. The controls with this compass system are ridiculous. The pace and accuracy of movement really test one's patience. The writing was poorly focused. Things are clearly meant to be written so that kids can understand the game world, but the logic of the explanations aren't fit for kids (the buildup to and explanation of Height was really drawn on and cluttered with unnecessary number fluff). It's patronizing to older players while still managing to intimidate one's attention span indiscriminately. The gameplay was like a rock in your shoe. Trying to avoid increasingly faster enemies with the already bad controls got more frustrating with time. And there was very little logic to the game design. Half the time, you're avoiding dangerous enemies and half the time, you're avoiding arbitrarily chosen hazards in the explanations (Stars in constellations killed you, for no reason). After eating Timmy, we came across another Timmy, which if you try eating, you die from. After bearing through this mess with no sense of how much progress was remaining, we got to the laser level. The game always presented a series of enemies, which after vanquishing, continue the storyline. After passing some stupidly cumbersome lasers, we see a new chapter on screen called "lasers" with even more of these lasers. We realized then that the game was only punishing us for giving it the benefit of the doubt. The only way to get the experience to end was closing and uninstalling the darn thing. We hardly say this in our life, but we got nothing out of this experience. Except, of course, for basic knowledge of the flatlander universe (we.e. Women are lines, etc.). Please don't tell people to wear headphones when it makes no difference… Just because the better iOS games give the instruction doesn't make it applicable here. The inevitable dying sound (because of the poor controls) was mastered at far louder volume than all other sounds.

The controls aren't hard if you take your time through the game and plan your moves properly. It's got a nice, feel good vibe and a great motivational message to it. P.S. Hope. Beat the game to know what the meaning behind that is.

Just play the game. Absolutely incredible.

Amazing game. We can tell it was made with a lot of thought.

Amazing reflection on the world around us and we absolutely love it. Couldn't ask for a better game.

We love this game. We cried when circle died.

An incredible journey, as expected from this amazing developer. Thank you.

Very deep and meaningful, we wholly support you and your work. We're eager to experience your next piece of art. Thank you.

We'll be honest. We're not really in love with this game. The "story" didn't really grab us and we left thinking that's it? " However, we think it has a deep message and the developers mission to make this a meaningful game rather than the typical junk with all the in app purchases. We think they achieved their goals. It certainly was an escape. For the low price it is definitely worth it.
