Game plays well. The wall gets hit fairly fast though. Biggest downfall is the glitches. If you put the app in background too long the app either freezes or restarts the game Very annoying. Almost to the point of uninstalling. We play several games and have played them for years. And would like to continue with this one. But thw constant freezes and restarts are just a tad too much.
Latest update fixed display issues on ipad! Been playing on android phone. Moved account to ipad for larger display, better graphics, and improved battery life. Lots of content. Good drop rates, unique game mechanics, nice graphics, interesting story, cool heroes and skills, several welcomed quality of life features. Overall really enjoying the game.
More options for battlefield camera pov and being able to view the character models at home would be nice.
Ive put over a year into the game and Im in the top 16. This game is similar to others yet has many different game modes for a wide array of players. There is team raiding, tower defense, and city and territory building/war mode. Dont give up on it if you try its fun.
Last update was a year ago. Stronghold and other buildings, researches hit max level and there is no roof to grow anymore. And it is been like that for years now. Would be really cool if there was another game that keeps growing nonstop. Because this one was really interesting. We dont know why developers stopped updating Ace Defender. Players used to spend thousands on it. With a proper marketing this app would make ton of money for them.
Theres a glitch where you view an ad for the App Store, key it run then click the X-bit if goes back to the ad and loops back to the App Store. THEN you cant report the glitch because the report fails to actually go anywhere (fails to send). L.
The game used to be fun. But they recently added this stupid new feature that everyone hates in our alliance and now the old features like arena never work. The whole thing is extremely buggy now. App only works 1 out of 4 times we try to open it now. We wouldnt waste our time downloading the app. Maybe if they went back to the old version but if the new version is things to come then yeah its clear they are not taking into account what the players like or do not about the game. Lost 4 people in our alliance to this new feature bc its so dumb. Its about to be 5 people as Im pretty fed up with what the game has become. Cant even level our people anymore bc we need the coins from arena but it never works anymore so there is no incentive to play anymore.
The game isnt bad at all but since last 2 updates the game continues to lag out. Not sure how to describe it. It doesnt freeze but when you click something it just doesnt load. But you can then click back out and click another part within the game. So not freezing. But once 1 event doesnt load nothing else does. So you have to relaunch the game multiple times to even finish the dailys.
3 overall, but -1 for the pvp features. We personally hate any game that allows other players to steal our hard earned points and this game has that world trial where we battle a boss monster and then players can steal our points, repeatedly. Most of the interactive panels are awkward, you have to click on the [x] to close a pop up, its annoying considering how many panels a player has to go through in one daily run. Can we just get a claim all instead of going through 5-8 panels to claim one, close it, claim another, close that, etc etc. Its so tedious The battle engine is also mediocre, its very laggy. The dungeons is very repetitive and insanely boring. Yall should just play mobile legends adventure.
Game is slow to load always crashing dont waste your time.

Game is unfinished, glitchy, and constantly having issues with login. Dont waste any money playing this game. Not bad if you use free account, terrible if you spend money to improve game.
Sorry developers, we don't know what you are doing but we logged in and played all day Sunday and then logged in Monday and our account was frozen. We had to delete it and then start a new one. Then after playing for 2 hours on Monday later that night that profile didn't work. You all need to quit updating things and look into the code's you're working on. Game play was good but then we didn't get it people have heros that are lvl 100 but still its very easy to play. We lvled to 30 in less than 2 hours.
Game is fun and can be addicting, the problem is the Devs can make a change and delete your account (yes it happened to us). They will not support you or even attempt to recover it, they just continue to respond with we appreciate your patience but its all smoke. We are not the only one who this happened to, do yourself a favor and just stay away.
False Advertising much. You dont do anything in this game. You watch it. You watch things where you could play, they just have nothing for you to do.
Dont waste your time we got to level 50 and had our account stolen. 1/10 wouldnt recommend.
Stop treating us like an imbecile and let us play game without a tutorial holding our hand and forcing us to click on what you want. Stop forcing us to move character to get movement tutorial to close. Stop forcing us to use ultimate ability. Stop forcing us to click battle button. Stop forcing us to start third battle. Stop forcing us to click expedition button. Stop forcing us to click battle button. Let us quit the stupid expedition you shoved down our throat. Stop forcing us to start second expedition battle. Stop forcing us to add new character to formation that you forced us to get from first expedition. Stop forcing us to move character you forced us to add to formation. Stop forcing us to start expedition battle with unwanted characters you forced us to add to formation. Stop forcing us to upgrade characters. Stop forcing us to continue battles. Give us back resources you stole by forcing us to upgrade characters. Stop forcing us to deploy unwanted character you forced us to upgrade. Stop forcing us to upgrade characters if we lose a fight.
Fight a battle. Upgrade hero. Fight same battle. Over and over. What little elements of tower defense are even easier. Just do the same pattern over and over.
This game is very fun at first with lots of prizes and heroes that unlock quickly. However, you will run into a very heavy Paywall after the first introductory 7 days. This game is designed to grab your cash. Your progress will be so behind if you dont spend money that its literally no fun at all. You wont be able to progress and the amount of cards needed to level up with the most horrible pull rates is infuriating and frustrating.
The latest update reset our account back to lvl 1. Please fix or give us a refund.
We were upto level 74. We were ranked in the top 15 in arenas and kings arenas. Our heros were all ranked in the top 20 for power in every class. We did the update and it asked us to sign in again. We lost everything and its showing us all this new stuff but we lost everything else.
Last update was a mess. Had a mature account with high level characters and the next moment it was all gone with no way to get back. Dont waste you time on this game. Developers are a mess.
Add the feature of exiting the alliance, need to wait 24h to freeze.
Cant even open it now it keeps asking us to update but we already did, then it just stays at 20%. Ill close the app out and try again but it keeps asking to update when we have already.
We just updated our game and now it says our account has a problem and to contact them. Not happy. With the amount of money we have spent in this game we dont want any issues at all with JUST trying to even log in.
The game is marketed as a tower defense game but the focus is not on TD. The ads that lure your to the app dont often reflect actual gameplay. The game is fun at the beginning when you have to learn a lot, but you soon realize they dont have an official website where you can look up information. Information about the game is scattered in bits and pieces throughout their discord. Their servers are all mixed with different regions and have a horrible chat translation feature. Its hard to communicate with your team and everything is censored for no reason. The developers dont bother hiding their biases towards certain factions. There as a serious lack of balance. The game significantly favors those who pay (pay to win) and theres always a number of glitches in the game. End game becomes all about the whales and isnt very enjoyable for someone who wants to play for free or casually spend. The top players spend over $1k. Unless you have a ton of money to drop, this game is not recommended.
Beware we have played this game on and off for 2 years now enjoyed it but twice with new versions they lost our account info. IT doesnt help just a robotic generic answer every time. Basically making it seem like something you did or need to do to fix it. What a scam this happen twice, once we can understand but they are stealing time and money and never fix it.
Characters teleport across the map instead of having movement animations. Its wants to be an idle clicker but you have to get deep in the game before you can even use fast forward.
Seriously the worst user experience Ive ever witnessed when buying a gem pack. We bought it (you can only buy 1 development pack), & when we went into the game from the payment screen, it said purchase invalid & the dev pack was still available to buy (since you can only buy 1 & it was still there) we were like it didnt go through. Thus, we attempted to buy it again & received it, but they charged our account 2 times for 1 thing. Apple refunded 1/2 charges, but as soon as we received the email refund approved. The game blacklisted us, stated we were stealing, & took back what we paid for. Then, after we message them, explained what occurred & provide screen shots to prove this, they still wont give back what we bought, nor remove the blacklist status, but stated if we pay another $20 we could get our account un-black listed. Therefore, keeping our $, & trying to extort us for more to regain full access to our game/items bought. Thus $40 for a $20 item. Even though the error was on the games side, & we could provide proof of the error, no real assistance. Poor customer service, extorts users, & acts like they dont understand what your saying in English. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY OF YOUR $, OR TIME.
Dont even download and try this game. The game is so full of bugs and admin are bunch of robots. This game just want u you our money and not care about players or customer services.
We played the game for 30 minutes and still cannot make any of our own choices. Got really boring really fast. Usually when you make a strategy game, you want to allow the player to actually use some strategy.
They show you 1 price for purchases but then they charge you double the price shown! Absolute scammers! The game is fun but way too heavily pay to win! We spent $100 in our first week and we completely regret it! If you have the money to burn then by all means enjoy the game but free players need not apply and pay players better watch your accounts and the charges they apply! Ive never played such a predatory game.
This game is horrible since you cant skip the tutorial and it forces you to play it.
For the starting, it says the tower defense game so we started to play, and then becomes something else like a siege game, and you need to keep purchasing to stay playing or you cant even normally finish everyday rewards, costumer service awful, one time we do the purchase with extra rewards and they never give to us, complain and they said nothing they can do and end of the conversation, we purchase a lot and thats why we still playing, waiting some other games came out and we quit this game right the way, if you never play, dont wast your time and money.
Please make it happen! We have been playing this game with our friends but there is no way we can fight each other to compare which team is stronger. Just friendly match between users who are friends.
We liked this game a lot until Ace decided to add empire building with armies and gathering resources. We chose this game because we hate the empire building type of game because it consumes your time to be a good player. We are a busy professional and we dont have that much time to invest. But since this is the new direction, we will quit the game. It was a great game; now its just the same like the rest of the games here. Thank you, next.
This game has adopted the mechanics of others but hasnt mastered those mechanics. Theres a lot of redundancy and things that can be more efficient for the consumer but the pay to play dynamic dominates all categories, even customer service as level 12 or so VIP has increased customer service. Free-to-play players dont stand a chance of enjoying the game at all. If you dont plan on spending thousands per week then this game isnt for you. If you expect service for running into game faults, this game isnt for you.
It was a good game once but now its wast of time.
WEIRD GAME IT'S NOT EVEN WHAT'S ADVERTISED WASTW OF TIME.
We invested a lot of time in this game. Purchased a misleading pack. When we realized it was not what it appeared to be (less than 1/3rd of what it appeared to be) we requested a refund. We expected them to take the little that was received back from the pack. However instead they just forbid the account from participating in almost every phase of the game unless we repurchased the pack. This was our first purchase in the game. We picked a specific purchase that looked like it contained rewards built up from levels you had beaten in the game and received less than a third of what was listed. Buyer beware. We would suggest finding a more one at game maker.
They steal money and dont help.
All in the title. You buy the monthly pass for $10 to not be shown ads. Then they STILL show you ads. Apple, please do something about this FRAUDULENT game that has been scamming money from its player base. We have receipts of purchases, and to this day, we still see ads even though the monthly pass EXPLICITLY says NO MORE ADS.
That new thing you guys call realm of whatever is ridiculous. Most of the people playing this game did not want to play games where they had to build a city army. If we really wanted to play that kind of game, we would keep playing SOS or something. We spend so much money on this game and we enjoyed it because it was about building a team. We liked that we decided what time we need to login and all that stuff. Now with this new update we must keep up with buildings, soldiers, academy, defending a city, gathering food wood and all that nonsense. Dear apple, please help us to get our money back since this game fooled us to think that it was a different game than others and ended being the exact same thing in less than a year.
We started this game about 6 weeks ago and was having fun. Decent game, minimal issues, similar to many idle games w/ their own twist. We made a purchase of $3.99 which we thought was a monthly purchase to receive rewards each day for 30 days, but it turned out to be a one-time purchase so we requested a refund. We then got 5 or 6 pre-form, in-game mail messages about how we were cheating the game and would be locked out of pvp content and other rewards for requesting a refund. At this point we opted not to make another purchase and see if this lock out would eventually go away, but it has been 3 weeks and we are still locked out from even participating in daily, basic pvp. Really glad we didnt end up putting any more money into this game as it is a terrible policy to lock folks out. Ive seen games that will take away the purchase you made or make you make up the difference by subtracting gems or items from your account, which we would have been fine with. But to lock out content is idiotic. Uninstalling the game today as there are plenty of other games on the market to scratch the idle-itch that dont cut you off from content because you refund a purchase from them, and then try to force you to make the purchase again to access the full game.

Played this game for a day it gets an update the next and now we cant even play because there is a constant server issue that keeps disconnecting us. Just when we were ready to get hooked these games always fall short with something that makes it unbearable to play.
Ever since this new update, our game wont load past 18-20% and it keeps saying Failed to connect to the central server. We havent any major problems with this game up until your Christmas update. It must just be an iPhone thing because Im literally watching someone with an Android, on the same exact server Im on, play his game with no problems whatsoever. Please fix this.
Good game, but it keeps crashing. And for the past two days it has refused to load. Kind of frustrating.
Its pointless you arent doing anything. They put more time into designing sexy characters and figuring out how to charge you micro transactions but skip the part where the game itself has anything fun to do built in. Its a team battle, tower defense blah blah with none of those features. STOP GIVING THESE TERRIBLE COMPANIES MONEY. Give people a reason to make fun mobile games that you can actually play.
