This game is good but there are some flaws, with the side halloween game thats similar to candy crush we’re stuck on the level with the wood stumps on the side with the bugs on top LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE, a small side game should not be this hard, its not candy crush, not to mention you can only use the rockets/bombs if theres either another one by it or if all the items match up, which both are rare and then by the time you can get it lined up its not in place making it impossible to get rid of the wood stumps, also some of items take too long to get, its not a game thats going to be played multiple times a day (unless youre just really in love with it) so waiting 2 hours for some of the stuff to be done before you can do more is just going to slow the time it takes to get farther in the game.
We are a big kid lol Im 33. We love this game not only its cool always something to do. We have been a big fan of the Addams family for years download this game no annoying adds never glitches the perfect game.
We liked this game even though it is a thinly veiled cash grab, and the many ways they keep breaking the game to try and keep you interested. There is a bug that items keep disappearing from your inventory and they have not addressed it. So any updates break things that then have to be patched to break something else, it is like they dont even know what quality assurance testing is. We are at the point of deleting the game and never looking back.
We recently watched the Addams Family movie and was really looking forward to trying this game, but it keeps crashing and freezing on us. We cant even get past the tutorial! If this game cant cooperate, it can go sink in the ocean!!!

We saw this game and was excited to download & play. But when we did, we could barley see the words & the Images were so small. We dont recommend this for the visually impaired. If they change that then we would definitely download it again. Everything is just to tiny.

Errors with this game continuously occur, it appears to go off-line when the Internet is worth it working perfectly when it opens back up items are missing. They tell us that we could get a refund if we come up with a code that is not on the Apple receipt, especially given it was not purchased through iTunes. Initially they said we had to have a iTune number now they claim its not iTunes but yet they send us a list back showing the word iTune. We got Apple to help get the code they are asking for but now they refuse to accept it. They are claiming that we have to do it their way, which does not work on our device. Just think people need to know this since we were using it to allow our niece to play when she is here. We threw away $80. The game was cute but everything you did either cost money or you could only play for 15 minutes. Each person we spoke with, gave us a different list. We tried to comply the best we could give them to Rabbis Im working on. Our bank and our attorney say they are going to work on this. Closing game.
This game is slow and tedious unless you are willing to spend real money to buy the gems and items needed to speed up the game. You are able to earn gems by watching ads, but this makes the game slower and more tedious. It is a cute idea but that is all it is. Not worth your cash.
Been playing for a long time and its a great game. Yeah some people might not like waiting for the things to create because the stuff takes longer and longer to make and you can get stuck sometimes but also the fact that you have to wait definitely gives us something to look forward to like if Im at work we can just think this is boring but when we get home MY ADDAMS FAMILY IS GONNA BE DONEEEEE.
On more than one occasion this app has charged us for purchases we did not make. We have never and will never pay real money for this game. Parents check your kids purchase history and make sure theyre not being scammed!
We like the game but theres has been some issues since the last update. The items that are required to go are in our inventory but its telling us thats its not. We have more than one of the items. Can this be fixed?
We started playing this again after stopping for a while because it was glitchy. And now we remember why. Yes, you can get most (not all) things by watching videos, but you’ll be watching videos all day. There is a video limit. And progress is slooowwww… For example, you’re given a task that requires the purchase of 3 items over $20k ( a piece) in coins, but nothing the characters want is over 4k. And to earn the big ticket items your character is busy for 6-8 hours. Then when you complete the task you earn 11k in coins?? It doesn’t make sense. It is also slow to level up and events bring that to a halt even when you have completed the event. Why am we still earning event coins when they are now useless to us in the game? Lots of repeat gifts in the chests, just not really player friendly. The graphics and dialogue is cute but the game itself is more aggravating than fun.
We overall love this game, and we cant bring myself to delete it; however we do have some issues with it. We dont like how you cant fully rotate an object when places and the bathroom mirror should be able to go above the bathroom sink. Also while playing this game you have to do so many tasks to barley get coins to advance to other tasks and unlock other parts of the house.
Cant do much of anything or accomplish much unless you are spending money game could be great but we dont see the point anymore.
We really like this game BUT, it takes forever to acquire coins. Like, even the actions that the characters do dont even reward you coins. If this was a little easier, we could give the game 5 stars.
We recently redownloaded the game after deleting back when it first came out as we wanted to give it another chance. Normally we hate pay to play games and refuse to spend a dime but we broke our rule to support this game and the developers, however, the game is impossible to progress in unless youre consistently buying gems. We cannot complete tasks because everything requires items from the kitchen which does not unlock until level 7 at level 5 we should not be required to use items from the kitchen to complete any tasks. Its ridiculous and unfair that we have to buy gems to buy items that shouldnt even be spawning in until the required room is unlocked. Everything requires kitchen items. Completing desire quests? Kitchen items. Unlocking another room? Kitchen items. How are we supposed to get anywhere in the game like this? It makes no sense.
We love decorating and giving tasks to the characters! It is very detailed that each character has their own way of obtaining objects in the game, even when they are all getting the same objects! We really enjoy the game! Awesome work! :D.
We didnt come here to make a review for the Addams family mystery mansion, we came here to talk about the sandbox evolution because it has a lot of bugs, the developers dont read reviews, and havent been updating the game for 3 years. The first bug is that when we watch a video to get an element it says Sorry, no video is currently available please try again later. Thanks our internet connection is fine but why??? And the final Bug(if you play the game for a few months it will happen) is that we cant play online levels and finish a quest because every time we want to, It says Oh no, we lost connection check your internet access. For the quests Sorry, no internet connection! Our internet connection is fine and that means we wont earn Mana until it is fixed. We really will appreciate it if you fix those 2 bugs because we want to play online levels and finish quests. If youre the developer please read it or respond so that Ill know if youll fix these bugs soon. Also please dont be inactive in the Sandbox Evolution we want constant updates:) Bye!
Everything we have done is fine, we’ve had this app for a very long time, basically since it came out. And so much progress, told us we had to do the update to continue playing, and it started back at the very beginning of level 0 and its like we never even had it. Acts line its a whole new app to our phone this isnt right. Ill not play this game anymore.
We got the game for the really cute art and we love The Addams Family but there is something wrong with the gameplay. Playing on an iPad Pro and the game stopped accruing experience after level 5. We are completing quests and the experience bar never increases in number. It has taken us quite a long time to figure out this bug so the experience has been quite frustrating to say the least. Game is unplayable in its current state.
This game used to be good. It has a few updates that improves the game, but everything is mostly the same as it has been for years. We have been playing this from the start, and the other day we logged in and noticed all our coins were gone. Support claims we spent it all, however we did not. They basically accused us of lying, that we spent a million coins. Unbelieveble. We can assure you we did not spend all that, it was a glitch in your system, just like how you make the same item several times for a quest and it never seem to register. So with that Im deleting the game. Id rather give our money to someone who honors customer service.
Way too long to earn experience points and even then the points dont register every time. Disappointing.

Edit: 9-23-22 Thank you for your response. We didnt realize the Diving outfit could be purchased with coins. Now Im back on track. Original: Cant level up further without obtaining Three arms sweater. Says to send Fester to make them but requires cards for outfit. Boxes havent dropped any sweaters or cards. Have to purchase all ten cards for hundreds of rubies. No alternative way to make the sweaters. We hope this is a glitch.
Etch time in the first level we have to do something with tich and we need to upgrade the inventory and each time we do it never works!
This game wont load. It stops loading at 95% then it closes itself.
So this started out as a great game!!! But we’ve been stuck on level 16 for MONTHS!!! And no new quests to earn have shown upI would hate to delete this game that we play everyday.
In the past you could watch a video to refresh the desires or the truck station so you get another desire or item, now you cant and we keep getting the same things we dont need, and we cant finish the buildings in assimilation, please bring back the videos.
Game is unplayable and completely broken. UPDATE: after deleting and reinstalling the game twice it finally is working and the tutorial is now playable. Not a good start makes us Leary of even playing with this many major issues just in the beginning. Probably just ditch this one for now, too many other functioning games out there to choose from.
We gotten all 10 cards for a walking tree for the chef event and we dont see the tree at all.
We are an old man that grew up watching the Addams Family on TV. And though this is a quaint reminder of that wonderful show, this game STINKS! We gave it a month, spent almost $50 on it just out of a sense of obligation, just to give it a chance but this is a money pit of UGLY proportions. No sooner do you spend money to get a small chance of handling inventory, and we mean seriously, within a day, there are new items necessary to further the game that makes you need MORE space. And the special events harbor into that same stupid (oh how we wish we could show expletives because this game had us fin* frustrated beyond any other) inventory list instead of using a separate special event list, like all the semi good games do. It is NOT worth it. DO NOT DOWNLOAD, ITS BULLHOCKEY! And you developers? If you were in our vicinity? Oh, you would not make it home tonight, nor ever. You are the toads eye in the witchs concoction of pure evil. We dare you to reply. We freaking double dog dare you, because you are disgusting. Such excremental filth!
It was fun in the beginning but starts to get boring the longer the task. You have to try to remember every task before continuing the game as well.
The videos to get a treasure chest or skip a task dont work.
We love the concept and the graphics! The gameplay, though, is very badly designed- or else designed entirely to bore or frustrate the player into spending real money to get anywhere (probably the point). When one tries to play without spending real-world cash, one slogs endlessly to effectively get nowhere. Ill likely keep it around for the artwork, but not to play often. Disappointing.
Cannot unlock rooms without gems. Gems cannot be obtained without watching advertisements. Advertisement vidios are not available very often. Confirmation, even when enabled, does not always prompt and prevent accidental spending of said scarce gems. Inventory space runs out and progress and all game play play comes to a halt leaving no alternatives to play without spending real cash. We spent a couple of days playing this game until we ran into all these issues and any enjoyment became frustration and anger. We cant afford to pay real cash to play so unless the developers provide more advertising options or rewards to those who cant pay to play then we guess there are some of us that will never get to enjoy more than a small portion of game play before deleting it.
We have played this game for quite awhile now and they have events where you can buy extras. We had trouble purchasing the pack 10 days ago, and we have gone back and forth with the developers to try to get the pack we purchased actually added to our game. They keep claiming theyve added it, but it never takes. Instead of trying something different (like adding each part of the pack individually) they just keep telling us theyve added the pack with no investigation into why its not working and no end in sight. We feel like Im going to go on and on into eternity telling them that what they keep doing isnt working, and them doing the exact same thing over and over and over and over.
We play a lot of games, mostly Match 3s, but this is our absolute favorite. We check in every hour or so, to make more stuff to add to inventory, rearrange our rooms, generally just hang out with The Fam.
We honestly love the game, keeps you very busy and engaged. Its fun and entertaining. It does take long for some actions but we mean who cares, then dont play it, Im sure other games take forever in certain tasks as well. Glad we downloaded it.
This game reaches a max level which is boring when a game allows you to reach the end whats the incentive to keep playing? Also in Assimilation Id made it to level 7. And then with no warning it re-shadowed everything above level 1 when it still shows all the stuff we already built in the now closed off spaces. It even lets us send the red van back and forth but wont give us the stuff in the van we tried to update but it didnt open the areas back up and we have to try to reopen it 100 stars a day. This game is pointless. Creators- DO BETTER.
We were really excited to play this game. However it is not like other platform games. If you want to complete one task you have to unlock certain parts of the game but in order to unlock those parts you have to complete a task but in order to complete that task you have to spend coins or gemsby the time you get through with unlocking everything in one room you have forgotten the original task you started with. Then theres the added match game. Like why is there a random match game? Which is ridiculous in it of itself because if you need to wait to reload your lives (which you only get 5) it takes 24 hours to load 1 life. We couldnt get past level 14 so we naturally could not advance in that part of the game. Earning coins is impossible as the challenges earn you very little but to unlock a room you have to spend coins or to add an item to a current room as a task you have ti spend coins and the price of either is 3x what you probably have. The game is cute, but to play it is frustrating and kinda annoying. It seems like they could have executed it a bit better. Its not very player friendly. We mean the point in an app game is to keep you playing for hours but instead this game offers you maybe 5 minutes of literally just crafting items only to find out your storage is full. Eh. We tried it for a few days and deleted it.
This game will likely scam you at some point. Items will disappear from your house after spending a lot of coins. Recently they were supposed to give 1000 rubies for each ring desire and then when we wasnt getting credits said it was a visual error. After we spent tons of rubies to grant the desires. Didnt get any credit towards the event but they did send us half of the rubies we spent to get the rings. Also be warned of the pop up deals. We clicked on it and purchased the golden pass for $4.99 and ended up not getting that but a $14.99 package that we didnt want and they wont refund you.
We love this game. Like our favorite game we’ve ever played on any station. Even if youre looking at this game deciding if you want it, just try it out. The team behind this game, IS AMAZING. We lost our progress- didnt know our ID, Facebook connection missing, restarted our whole cloud for the progress and came up with nothing; they were able to find it and get it back for us! So quickly too, super nice. Makes us a loyal ride or die for the rest of our life now.
We were trying to set off one of the bombs that was near things box. We clicked on the bomb but accidentally hit the spend rubies to get more coins from things box without noticing. Now we lost 110 rubies we did not want to spend. This is not the first time this has happened. We love this game but It frustrates us how easy it is to lose the rubies we have been saving for weeks.
Why is it that when we reached level 31, our inventory storage space went way down? Now we cant collect anything. Fix this.
This game is addictive, however you will reach a point where the only way to continue is to spend real money. Not just a few dollars but $50 – $100. The game has bugs but you can live with them because its a lot of fun. Its the high cost to move on that ruins the fun.
