Description
AHole II is a remake of a popular drinking card game for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
In spite of its name, there is nothing rude or offensive about this game.
Three "Skill Levels" are available, allowing the game to adjust to your abilities as you learn how to play.
There are many variations to the rules of the game — some of the most common variations are supported through the Game Settings screen.
The goal of the game is to get rid of your cards before the other players.
The first player who is out of cards is awarded the highest social rank — this is President — the next is Vice-President, and so on down. The last player to be left with any cards is the AHole.

Perfect port of the old Mac OS game.
Great game! We remember playing this many moons ago on OS 9. Thank you for this! Sometimes the random generator algorithm seems not so random, but after 250 hours, perhaps we have seen it all. The only bug is during the card swapping phase at the beginning. If, at any point during the swapping phase, you exit from the game (because you accidentally hit a notification from another app), the game is frozen and you must start a new game. Very unfortunate if you are on a winning streak. Otherwise, great game!
We love this game – and probably spent the most time playing it than any one out there – programming needs to make game bit smarter – the basic flaw with game is this – let’s say there are only two players remaining – us and the computer player – let’s say we have only one card Jack and the computer player has two cards – a Queen and a 3 . And let’s say its computer turn to lead – instead of playing first the queen first and then three thus making us loose the game – it will play 3 first to which we can throw down our Jack and beat the computer – let each computer player also remember how many cards have been played and "pass" when necessary instead of always blindly playing the lowest card – that is not how you run the game – because of this basic flaw even at hardest setting we win more than 70% of the time – we are sure developer can see our stats via Game Center Update – August 31 2014 Pls pls pls fix the – lowest card playing at any given instance by the computer players – for the reason we listed above. Have computer players count the cards pass when necessary – Make it bit smarter Secondly the game locks up occasionally specially if you try to switch the app like taking a call during the play and resuming. Third – those wise cracks at the end of the game is starting to get annoying make an option to switch it off.
Why can’t you play the same single card as the player ahead of you? There’s no "skipping" in this game. If a comp plays a 9 and we have a 9 we should be able to play that 9 to skip the player to our left.
The rules are no where near the real game. Bummer!
Really brought back some memories of the old Mac version we hadn’t played in over 10 years. It seems that most of the issues people are saying have to do with the rules of the game, not the app itself. There are so many variations of the game it would be impossible to include them all. We think what’s in the app is a good amount of variation without going overboard. Very addictive.
Options that need to be added: 1. If you clear it w/ a "two" you get to go again. 2. (allow to play the same card) If you play the same card as the last person it should skip the next person. 3. If you can complete all four same cards and it clears and you get to go again. (ie: if you had 3 threes in your hand you could play them on a single three)
Been playing this app on iPhone 5 ios 6 and am hooked! The app is great! We only went with 4 stars though because its been a long while since there has been any sort of update. We would really like to see an update in the very near future! We think this app has lots of potential, lots!!! Some rule making after 3rd presidency would be very cool! Also a basic update could allow skips. One thing that annoys us is when someone plays a 2 it goes around the table again? Kinda annoying since there’s no way to beat a 2. Seems like a waste of time. We’ve always played that after a 2 is played it clears the board and you play again. Essentially this is what this app does but it goes around again? Not the end of the world but slightly annoying. We do love the statistics and hope to never see this removed in future updates as we’re a stats kinda guy. We’re basically giving this app 5 stars in the write up but 4 officially. The developer really should update this app and soon! The app has an amazing foundation to be built upon! Probably the best ahole app out. Period. Online play would be sweet too! There’s just so much that can and should be done with this app. We would urge people if interested to buy this app and help support a fun and entertaining game!
Clever names and animation. We’re not sure how much we like that a single 2 or double 2s can beat double or triple anything respectively. Also, it seems that the computer-animated characters will play their cards no matter what. Their highest cards are played in the first few rounds and that seems like bad strategy to us. Still fun though.
It’s a good copy of the game but not great. But better than 2 stars.
If player one plays a 3 and you play a 4 and players 3 + 4 pass, the game clears and you can place whatever card you want. Furthermore, you cannot play a consecutive cards so their are no skips.
This is a fun and addictive game. The sounds are so funny, unfortunately the sound in this game keeps going out.

This app deserves a better rating, if you like this game, you will deff enjoy this app! And if u like cards, you’ll get addicted.
Overall this is the best app for president out there. The rule changes in the settings menu really sets this app apart from the others. However some added rule changes (such as doubles are higher than singles, triples higher than doubles, etc) would be nice. Also it did "freeze up" once but only once. The voices are funny as hell and the names for the AI players are comedic genius. Keep up the great work!!
Doubles should be better than single and triples should be better than doubles.
Or at least gives us the ability to have doubs beats single card and trips beat doubs. And allow for a cleaner version so we can let/teach our kids how to play.
