We were skeptical at first, as most gacha games lately have gotten more and more greedy and anti-player. This game is not like that. It is super generous, rewarding plenty of free currency through story mode and events so that you have a chance to get characters you want. The question is: is it actually fun? Yes! Its a really unique type of game in terms of the gameplay that will challenge you to understand its systems and put together complementary teams. The base building aspect is really great as well. We dont normally write reviews but we had to for this game because it just exemplifies what the mobile gaming industry could be in a better world. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.
Very good game with great graphics and appealing character art, the game has plenty of content and dose not make you feel like you need to spend wads of cash to progress within the game (although we already have lol) great game! Hope they keep up the great content.
This game reminds us of Genshin impact one of our favorite games ever and this is so incredible. We like the designs of the characters they are so amazing and so cute. Its a really cool game and we are so glad we have this game.

When we first downloaded this game we thought it was gonna be like any other but NOPE this game is amazing and has its on fun and creative way of playing it. Its just such an amazing game!!!
Its really hard to find decent mobile games with unique systems and a story that makes sense. This game has a unique battle system, beautiful and original character designs, and an interesting story. Even though it’s a gacha game, getting characters isn’t infuriating, as they provide you with plenty of the currency. Truly a hidden gem.
We absolutely love this app- we have a habit of getting bored quickly, but we love how in-depth you can get with each character, and the writing for both the characters and the story is amazing. We genuinely want to continue going through with the story, and every time we get a little text it keeps us going. Absolutely love the app, and its one of the few where we are truly invested in the characters!
Really cares about its players, ui looks great, the gameplay is great, there are a lot of fun features, and its F2P friendly. Definitely recommend.
It really is an amazing game and one of the best gacha games we played, we have played many before well into the 20s and played all of them extensively to some degree but this one really stood out. Its very unique and amazing. One thing that could be better is the login, it should remeber who you are everytime you open the app, you shouldnt have to put your information in everytime. And the gacha could get a consistency update. Sometimes it feels like you pull a 6 star every summon and other times it feels like you just cant pull one at all. Other than that amazing game.
We’ve played a few gacha/mobile games over the years, and alchemy stars has to be one of our favorites! A unique fighting system which is more engaging through the need to use strategy in approaching how to best navigate the map to do the most damage/set up your team to win battles. Theyre also always creating new content to continue the story line, or make new things to keep players engaged (cloud gardens update with the 1 year anniversary update)! Our only suggestion for a future update, would be to be able to select at least multiples of 10 when transmuting colossus patches into fireflies, which are used to create materials to ascend aurians. It gets tiring very quickly having to click a colossal patch one by one, and an update to fix that would be much appreciated!
Id had our fair share of going through many many gachas and this one was the one we’ve stuck to for the longest. It has an excellent main story line that connects throughout all the events or colossus stories. With this 1 year anniversary update, so many new and fun features will become another great part of the game. Its understandable that this game isnt your forte since we all have our personal and preferred gachas, but give it a try! We’ve been a free to play player for however long we’ve been playing mobile games and this game gives you enough to get the characters you want. You dont need 6 star characters to complete the game or events since 3, 4, and 5 stars can also do their job just as well as 6 stars. Overall, this game has to be considered one of the best gacha games that keep their generous personality towards all the players of their game. Really recommend trying out!!!

Gameplay is unique and refreshing, not at ALL a pay to win, and an excellent and forgiving gatcha system (5 stars are frequent and strong). Beautiful illustrations and an AMAZING soundtrack, plus the story are intriguing and varied for all of the hundreds of characters (stories for all- 3 star to 5 star). ALSO if youre an anime fan youre in luck- because the Japanese voice acting is SUPERB (we got Demon Slayer, Danmachi, and LOTS more of famous VAs). Add in a cute open world system and yeah thats Alchemy Stars.
LOVVVVVVVEEEEEE THE GAME. We’ve play so many of these anime card draw or RPG games and they always want your money and stuff you guys are so fair on your prices and Im loving the cloud garden thing hope more stuff comes out for that. The only problem we do have is leveling up your different element characters now we dont mind it. But we just hope there was an easier way to level up your characters instead of just leveling them up via there element. Thats all we have HAPPY 1st anniversary and KEEP making the game awesome.. 10/10 for me.
When we downloaded this we expected just a simple gacha rpg but it exceeded our expectations to the max. The art style is beautiful along side the music. The game play is fun and fresh we’ve never really seen anything like it, the color tile aspect of it is really fun. The storyline is also a really good aspect. Now usually in gacha games ironically the gacha is the worst part but im this game its actually high rates of getting a good character and they are so generous with the currency wich is super nice and refreshing especially with a certain fantasy rpg wit terrible gacha. Anyway this is a really great game and we would recommend.
The dev team has proven they care about their game and listen to the players. Especially with the balance adjustments and the new cloud gardens..

We really REALLY love the game but we’re just annoyed you can’t transfer your account from Samsung to iphone all that hard work gone to waste Not gonna remake a new account causes it no use putting that much work (and MONEY) again Thanks for everything devs!
The bad: To start with, we think the days of modern Gacha games requiring you to farm staging by putting something in Auto-Repeat and setting down your phone for a few hours are way in the past. Unfortunately, this is one of those games. The good: The art and unit design is great, the events are fun and not time consuming or intrusive, the story is interesting, having the guaranteed 5 star on initial 10 pulls is very nice. Theres enough stuff to keep you busy in the game if you wanted to spend the time in there each day, even late game. Lastly, the gameplay mechanic is unique and fun and you really enjoy building up your units. However, no matter how much good they add to the game this one bad thing makes it very unappealing as a game to play long term. We hope Tourdog does the right thing and adds a sweep/offline dispatch system so that this game competes with modern gachas because, honestly, its one of a kind and appealing enough to be everyones 2nd or 3rd gacha.
Great game, constantly logs out of facebook accounts though so if you use that link method and somehow lose access to your facebook account you can get screwed over.
We sorta wish there was a different gender option, and if thats not possible, then gender-neutral terms are fine too.
We would say we really enjoyed the gameplay of it and how the characters are very creative looking. The only problem we have with the game is being unable to log into our account through Google. We originally played it on android but am now trying to play it on iPhone. Is there a way for the developers to implement a google sign in feature? Because we know other games allowed us to log on with our Google account like Cookie Run Kingdom.
We love the game But the one problem is that we cant play as a girl we dont really like being called mr by the characters when we open the app. We know its not that detailed but we really want too play as a girl :)
As myself reading your advice to faster loading/crash fix, none of it works. We have waited around 3 hours just for Calculating Version Differences.. It is really, time-consuming, we do understand, but 3 hours for something not to load? Overall, we love the game design itself, just fix the loading.
For starters, we actually dont mind when games are similar to eachother (like how Genshin Impact is great but takes a lot from BoTW), it can work really well when done thoughtfully. However this one is SUCH a copy of Arknights that its super distracting to the point of being annoying. For starters, compare the UI. Its almost completely identical. (I say this when we couldnt even get into Arknights either) Everything minus the actual battles is almost the exact same. We didnt find it to be particularly generous either like other reviews are claiming which makes us suspicious. We also had almost 10gb of free space but it still wasnt enough and the download kept pausing? We had to make more space to finally get it to work. But thats HUGE. Not sure what thats about. For a company that has no issue ripping off something else to make a quick buck and not even trying to improve on it or change anything, Id be wary of spending your money here.
We like this game so far but theres this weird glitch were the game forces us to level up miss Blance. The problem is we dont have her and it get stuck on the leveling up characters screen so we are unable to play. We would be very happy if they fix this glitch please because we cannot play the game anymore, and we really want to get back into it.
This games controls are overly complicated and annoying a simple auto button could fix all of there issues but unless they do that we dont see this game reaching true popularity it wasnt even fun the characters and art style are amazing but the controls are just unenjoyable couldnt recommend to anyone really if you add auto controls for people who dont want to do irritating puzzles just to play then respond to this and we will give it another shot if not well Im sorry we wont mince words on a review Im always honest this just wasnt fun.

This new update isnt installing at all on our device.
They dont have the ability to use google login outside of android devices, so the account that we worked at from launch is still inaccessible since we switched to iOS last September. Definitely play it if you havent, but consider linking your account to an account that they better support transferring.
Every time we try to open the app it just says "Alert. Cannot access manifest. Try again later." we can’t open the game. Please fix this. Edit: 2 months later we still have the same issue. Can’t even play the game.
Whenever you have an anniversary or any event you’re supposed to give US free stuffs not us paying you for stuffs. Open up some good package deals for us since its an event that’s understandable but ultimately it’s for the players still playing your game who are loyal. Your mindset is backwards you need to change that, you made a game for players to enjoy you didn’t make a product for consumers.

Good game but ever since this update, we can no longer use the Colossus. Im on an iPhone X. The colossus will load, but the screen wont respond to any touch. Every other part of the game works, but we cant access our Prism Pillar which is especially frustrating.
This game is SO FUN we never write reviews but this is too good not to. We’ve been spending like a week looking for a good anime-type rpg and this has satisfied us. The characters have personality, beautiful art, a little confusing but still engaging story, and REALLY GOOD drop rates. Overall, we love it.
Alchemy stars was one of our first games ever and it was really fun playing with the characters of your elements like Iroden and Schwartz. The game fighting system is very unique and also love the characters design and the overall gameplay. Thank you Alchemy stars for this fantastic game. You can be a P2W or casual F2P player it is up to you. There is enough to keep us entertained without too much of a grind effect with a new event every couple of weeks. If you like playing a choose your own adventure you will also like this game.
We just wish there were more playable characters of colors because theres only a handful that are.
We’ve been playing since launch day and its been lots of fun. They are very generous with their premium currency and give you plenty of summons. There are new events every two weeks which adds something new every time. Hope the up coming anniversary event will draw it more players!
We downloaded this game out curiosity and out of seeing all of the positive reviews and ratings it had. We wanted to try it out myself, and our goodness, it lives up to its expectations and then some. We don’t normally write reviews, but the gameplay experience has polarized us to into typing one up. Gameplay: Smooth and straightforward. Easy to understand but also has interesting interactions added in here and there to keep you engaged. Plot: The best part of this game, 100%. The characters have so much depth to them, and they each feel so unique. The storyline is amazing and adding dialogue options makes it more engaging as well. Gacha: Game is F2P friendly; there is a 6-star (Highest base rarity spawn for this game) chance up system that increases the more Aurorians you recruit (Aurorians are the name of the units you spawn). Side note: Vice is best girl, would loveee to see more in-game content with her.

We’ve played the latest event story ( Fragments of a Feast). The story itself is so good, so so good. And characters are amazing too. You are getting better and better TourDog. Once again, Im giving you 5 stars. Love you TourDog.
