We completely agree with jennifer626's review. This game has a lot of potential, but it misses that mark. The graphics and the story are simplistic and there are just too many hidden object puzzles where you are searching for itty bitty tiny obscure items. The other big problem is the maze. It has a glitch in it and it is impossible to complete; to skip it, you need to click on a green bar above the puzzle. We had to research that information online to discover that it could be bypassed. We liked the game, and we appreciated the reasonable price, however there is a lot of room for improvements.
First, the positives. The brightly colored scenes and the somewhat eerie soundtrack set the tone nicely for a visit back to Wonderland. We did not notice any glitches during the short time that we were playing. Now, why we stopped playing after 10 minutes. We recognize that the first issue may be just our own. We had understood (based on Microids marketing) that this was an adventure game that included both minigames and HOPs. This appears to be a showcase for one HOP after another, which is not our preference. However, even if we were seeking only HOPs, we enjoy more complex varieties, such as assembling components and using silhouettes or riddles as clues. We saw only simple word list HOPs. The death knell was when the font for the word list was so small that we could barely make out the names of the items. The actual items hidden in the larger picture was just as microscopic. We still have 2020 vision, and we had no inclination to try and take this on. We would recommend this only to the most diehard HOP fans who have the eyesight of hawks.
Was a good game until you get to the point where you must find the paintbrush. Once you get to the garden to find the brush, the game crashes and won't open back up after that. Anytime you try to load the saved game it crashes and the app closes. Kind of disappointing since the game was getting interesting.
Why do you release a game if it has a glitch where you cannot finish he game as it crashes. Why Is this game not tested before it's released.
Fun and challenging Not to hard and not to easy. For all ages. No bug problems. Graphics are very cool.
This game needs to have more levels than it has. Other than that it's a really fun game.
We were sad when the game ended. Loved the puzzles. Good mixture of puzzle and hidden object. Not too difficult.
Nice game. Could increased the ratio of puzzles to hidden objects, but the hidden objects weren't of the annoying variety.
Game freezes. After 2 hours of play, after "winning map, it disappeared,and we can't proceed. Hint keeps saying: " find map" we already did. Our last Microid download.
Loved the facts hidden throughout.
