Love the sunsets and sunrises, and the different weather. So cool. Just as good if not better than the original.
We played through this game as well as Adventure. We love these games and get totally fixated on them. We only wish there were more up-lockables or customization, because we got through all 60 challenges and now dont feel like we have a reason to keep playing.

Its perfect but please get rid of the slow mo feature when jumping the Ravines.
This is one of the best mobile games we have ever played. We have spent endless hours playing it and am in the top 100 in two out of the three Game Center leaderboards. The recent UI bug fixes and improvements have seemed to make the UI worse on our end. The two things we’ve seen since the update are that while playing the trick points number overlaps slightly with the distance number and on the end screen when you have over one million points the last digit is squeezed underneath. These are all the bugs that we have noticed so far but we also recognize that this update has improved some text size including coins over 1,000 in the pause screen! Overall we hope they make some adjustments to fix these problems. Thanks!
It a fun game to have, but there isnt anything special.
We love the original Altos Adventure game but we just deleted this one after having it for years and never playing. Its frustrating, we dont know how the jumping on the walls works and we honestly dont care to learn. Wouldve been better if they had just made another Altos but in the desert but leaving the same mechanics and ease of play. Good graphics and music though just not for us.
Love the game but there is a bug at level 59. It is impossible for us to pass the smash 3 crate drops in the air while wingsuiting. We’ve done it twice and it wont pass. Bummer to come this far and be unable to complete the game.
This game is so beautiful. We wish our friends played, because we would love to share things like the pictures we take in it. We love that feature and have taken around 300-400+ pictures! The cycle of weather, time, and scenery is gorgeous. We originally found the game on an iPad in the middle of a Best Buy store, and got it on our own iPad after a few times playing the game in the store. We later bought Altos Adventure as well, and enjoy it as well. We do wish there was more variety in the wildlife. Its also a little disappointing that the upgraded versions of the games are Apple Arcade only. We doubt our parents would be willing to pay for such a subscription. But we guess in a few years or so, Ill just get the subscription myself. One bug that we notice though, is that sometimes Ill go to take a picture, and the screen just freezes, it turns single colored and we cant see a thing. We lose the photo opportunity, and the only way to fix it is to go back to the menu/close the app.
We bought this game because it seemed to have high quality interface and great reviews. We stuck with it for some time for the same reasons, only to be disappointed every time we opened the app. This game often has horrible contrast which makes seeing obstacles impossible, and every death the game suggests lotus flowers prevent crashes not to mention theyre found in 1% of tries. Get flappy wings. Cheaper, way more fun, better game play overall.
No sound or music with latest update we tried: Restart iPhone Delete and reinstall app Didnt work. Very frustrating.
Game is designed for you to fail regardless of skill level, you can almost hear the game designers snickering with their obvious trolling, they dont even try to hide it. Their object placement makes zero sense. If you like only backflipping and magical elevator fairy music this game is for you.

Was in the middle of a suicidal episodeswitched on the game and immediately felt better. WITCHCRAFT. IF YOURE THINKING OF BUYING THIS GAME IT IS PHENOMENAL AND BEAUTIFUL AND THE GRAPHICS HELP WITH ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION AND we LOVE IT.
We love this game to death, so it gets 5 stars, but we want to listen to Spotify while playing, and it pauses any music as soon as we open the app. We have turned off the music and sfx and it still stops Spotify. Please we just want music.

Us and our family have been playing a similar game, altos adventure for years. We can all say that EVERYTHING about this game is just amazing. Then, they come out with a new altos adventure, Altos odyssey. This new game is just incredible in every aspect. Just like their previous game, altos adventure, the music, scenery, how the game works is simply breath taking. An amazing game and we will always remember it :). Thank you for reading.
The game is beautiful and great and amazing, but the un-jumpable caverns are ending it for us. We’ve tried a literal hundred times. We have a 1,200 single combo score, our scarf is off the screen, and we can still make it exactly 80% across this cavern. We dont know what the developers want, here. Its just too frustrating, kindly fix this.
We’ve been playing this game for years now but the latest update 1.1.0 seems to have broken the game on devices not running iOS 14 or beyond. (It would just crash every time you try to start the game) That in itself is not really a problem, but you can still buy and download the game on an unsupported device and thats misleading. If the game doesnt support older versions of the OS anymore, it should be tagged as such.
This game was great… Until we updated recently. Now the game always crashes after the opening sequence. Im on an iphone 6. Is anyone else having this problem?
Compass: travel to any biome for a small fee Also compass: thatll be 1000 coins. Just why Also the game punishes player for making tricks: the coin and power up placement on the track is that you get most of them by just moving without jumps, tricks or any of that. Most of the time if you try grinding the wall or the rope, you will miss powerups, coin vases etc. Thats really frustrating. The game still worth buying tho.
But getting hit by a lemur every single time because there is no where to go or jump or all the horrible objectives like performing two backflips off a grind twice in one run is absolutely stupid. There is NO PLACE in these levels to perform such feats. We loved the first Alto. This one is just too geared for you to lose. We have that one objective left and we’ve had it for more than a year, almost two, and we STILL cant get it. Next Alto, we are NOT purchasing. Tired of these developers who make their games so hard and not enjoyable. What a waste of 5 bucks.
So im on level 16, and we need to wallride and backflip on a chasm. Well we cant really do that if there arent any walls to ride on. When we first purchased the sand board there was an abundance of walls to ride, which is good. But now that we’ve passed some levels it seems like the walls just dont exist. We’ve played more than 20 games and havent spotted a single wall. It might just be us but how can we advance if there isnt a wall? We would love some help with this, thank you.
We bought this game and cant even hear the music.
So we played Altos Adventure for 100+ runs. We gladly bought Altos Odyssey when it was released, and played 500+ runs. Id love to play the remastered version, but even more Id love being able to buy an upgrade to the game we already have. Unfortunately, the creators decided the added features and polish are too good for the people that support the devs over the last several years. Instead, the polished and updated version is locked behind a monthly subscription service. Hard pass.
We luv this game but once again the update wont even let us open the game. This is the 2nd game in the last 2-3 months where the update wont even open the game anymore!!!
Update 1.0.9 made the app crush every time on opening. The only thing we are able to see is unexplainably long and boring title sequence.

We loved Altos Adventure, and to see this sequel out is even better! We enjoy it just as much as Adventure, we’ve been playing it a lot, we have a high score of about 330,000. It is visually stunning, the music is great, and its art style is awesome.
We love this game, we played Altos A dventure when we were younger and always wanted to play this one. We got this about a year ago, and ever time we play itI WANT TO MAKE THIS INTO A MOVIE! Of course Im to young, but hopefully one day we can get into contact with you guys and make our dream come true. This is truly an awesome game and we thank you and all who worked on this game and Altos Adventure. You guys are AWESOME!
We love this game so much since 8 played the prequel and we were pleasantly surprised when we saw this game! But we miss the Llamas so maybe us can turn them into lizards for the desert? Thats right we want to party once we get up to a certain level we could meet the different characters or a princess or anything …. You know in Mario brothers sometimes you get to be with a princess Ha ha ha The characters would say things to us like we really like that octuple backflip you did and the date you did it of course theres privacy issues ha ha Ha… Then They could give you a cool new outfit or a scarf>……………………. We’ve got to be careful or Ill eat up all our time playing it Update; we are almost to the last character for more levels!
This game is so much fun and the way its designed is both calming and thrilling.
Probably the best mobile game we have. But there is a bug we found in zen mode. Zen mode is basically a mode where if you die you hop right back up and continue where you left off. Now the bug, if you wing suit straight into a chasm, you will get stuck there, and wont get reset at the top like normal. Then you have to restart, but we dont know how anyone would accidentally die that way but, who knows?
Amazing scenery. Breathtaking musical score. Exciting gameplay. NO MICROTRANSACTIONS OR ADS. This is the perfect endless runner.

We grew up playing Altos Adventure, so when we heard about the development of its sequel, Altos Odyssey, we were counting down the days until its release! Like its predecessor, Odyssey is incredibly immersive and absolutely stunning in every way. Its extremely easy to play, but offers an ever changing landscape and new challenges to always make the game exciting. As an indie game (and a newer one at that), it does have its flaws and bugs. But the developers are constantly improving the performance. Currently, the game shuts of your background audio as you enter the game (although we’ve heard that the developers are working on this issue). With its catchy music thats never always the same, Im fine with that. However, if you prefer listening to your own media whilst tapping away, we would instead download the critically acclaimed Altos Adventure, which offers that feature. Overall, the stunning art, cute characters, and enticing challenges, combined with the simple, easy gameplay, makes this amazing app worth every penny. As a long time Alto addict, we can definitely say that you will adore this game.
We’ve played this game since our senior high. This is more than just a game. Its more like a place to relax our mind and stay calm and throw all our unhappiness far behind. Especially when playing Zen mode.
Other than some very minor bugs everything else is great. Calming game with great design and style. The moment flows cleanly and there are no ads like other mobile games. Overall very clean game.

This is a great game but it take a really long time to get coins if you had a way too buy coins this game would be awesome. We also think you should add more upgrades. Maybe side quests every now and then would be great. Last you should add skis as a option. Thats all we still think this is a GREAT GAME!!
Would be better if you could play your own music with it. In game music is less than desirable.
We really enjoyed this title and completed all the goals. It really strikes a wonderful balance between relaxing, entertaining, and easy to pick-up which is what you want in a mobile game. The game has a great arc though we found it plateaued a bit after discovering all three biomes. It would have been more exciting if there were more biomes and kept the sense of adventure going. Only complaint is that the game can be difficult to see without your phone brightness way up – especially when it is night in the game or a sandstorm. The changing weather and time in the game are really beautiful, but we would have liked an always day mode that keeps it at noon and sunny in the game so that it is easy to see even if phone brightness is low.
This game is super fun and relaxing to play. And as you travel across the dunes, canyons and temples a story really starts to unfold. We just love how you can use a sand bord to travel on the canyon walls and the wing sute to safely get across caverns. A also think that the character balances are really good. Paz flips really slow but has a lot of momentum. Maya flips really fast but doesnt get very much momentum and alto is in the middle. There is also a zen mode that allows you to peacefully travel the desert without risk of of diving. There is just so much fun to be had in this game and so many solid characters. If you like a strong fun, relaxing Quality game this is the place to come. And if you played the first game ALTOS ADVENTURE than we should brobally tell you this game is a huge step up from it.
