We loved this game. The star upgrades are bowerful. The new level 4 tower upgrades have great abilities. The only problem is the over powered enemies. There is like 67 of them every time. We passed everything in the game but the game just needed to calm down on the enemies because of the spam.
We love Kingdom Rush but after working tirelessly on leveling up and beating the final boss using a TON of items, we hit a glitch during and it reset our level progress. Way to ruin a fun time right at the finish line.
Always enjoy coming back to this game yeah theres a small pay wall for some story and characters but thats ok its pretty cheap and always a fun play.
Hi we just redownloaded this game and we believe there a bug with the hero we have already purchased before Ashbite and its asking us to buy again when we checked on the appstore and it already says purchased please fix this on our account.
Honestly, Ive never been more frustrated with gameplay before. You cant save your session, so that means you either do battle for 25+ minutes or just waste your time. The amount of time Ive sunk into a battle only to find out the boss deletes your stations at the end.. Oh good lord Ill never waste our time on this game again. So so frustrating.

Ive played this game on and off since we were young. Always fun and always engaging.
Before we bought the game we were worried that we would have to purchase the 8$ heros because Neepercreeper review/rating said it was too hard to beat the game, and that all the tutorials were using the expensive heros, but thats not the case. The game was just enough of difficulty and if it was too much difficulty for you, you could decrease the difficulty. Better yet theres a place in the game where you learn how to beat each level which the included characters. If you keep losing too much or one or two enemies keep slipping past your defense, you can buy bombs and extra hearts in the shops with in game currency. Overall this game was a blast and we highly recommend playing it.
Improved on the first game while also adding new tower upgrades and visuals.
We dont care what no one says all kingdom rush games are bangers our only con is the fact that we dont like spending to much money but Im so tempted to overall definitely recommend this was our whole childhood and Im glad to see that ironhide is still making these games.

Ive loved the Kingdom Rush series when we were 11 years old and we still love the series 9 years later. We think Frontiers in particular has the most personality with extremely unique towers and level upgrades. Big fan since day 1.

For some reason the sound works only in our headphones with this particular app (everything is working correctly on our phone).

Ive played all the Kingdom Rush games, this one is our least favorite. The final boss was not enjoyable at all.
Great game that is greatly reduced in value by putting most heroes behind a pay wall. Frontier plus is better, but saves dont transfer. Another huge downfall.
Most everything is great but seemingly intentional glitches where an enemy walks through 3 defenders, rain of fire, and a freeze suggest they want you to buy upgrades so they sabotage an otherwise good game.
We stopped enjoying this game because of the very last level. It cheats and making it past the last level requires too much time and patience. We made it to the very end without losing any lives, but still ended up losing. This game, even Though fun, is Not worth the anxiety that the last level brings.
We have played all of the KR games and in the casual campaign with the lowest level difficulty Ive never had a problem. But with this specific game even level 3 most players cant get past. Even in the easiest level. We will not continue playing, it is no longer fun. Id suggest spending your money on other apps.
We have loved this game for years. It provides a challenge and excitement. Several levels we have redone over and over again to get a good result. We have noticed while playing that it has become impossible to beat unless you spend quite a bit of money on gems. We do not mind buying gems. Gems are not the issue. The issue is that the game is impossible to beat unless you buy quite a bit of them. This money hungry tactic has turned us off. We are tired of buying a game and then it being required that we throw insane amounts of money to win. The challenge is no longer even feasible. We are left disgusted by a game we once loved very much. Thank you for that. Good job.
This series of tower defense is our favorite.
Kingdom rush games are easily our favorite tower defense games, highly recommend them.
We aboustley adore ironhide games and this one is almost perfect other than the fact that ashbite needs a buff.
We came on to beat every challenge level of each location of map, definitely worth our money if you have already complete the map on free version, only then should you get this, because that means you like the game.

Ive played all 4 games and this one is the best. While the original was solid, we didnt as much like the aesthetic of vengeance or origins, but frontiers is the perfect fit.

We stumbled across the original kingdom rush online and became an instant fan of its take on the tower defense game. Not only has it been a favorite past time of ours, but a huge influence on our future being one of a couple games to inspire us to be a computer scientist. A must play for anyone looking to accidentally stay up till 2 am trying to beat a level or looking for a fresh take on tower defense that doesnt involve monkeys and balloons.
Its a love hate at the beginning. Learning how to upgrade each tower mad a world of diff. When we started.
This is a fantastic follow-up to original Kingdom Rush. Some nice differences with heroes, towers, and overall strategy. But – as others have said, not nearly as challenging as the original. No shade at all on the developers. Very fun game. Just a noticeable difference in difficulty.
You see, this game is very good, however they do not stop players when they accidentally press a button. One time, when we were on wave 13, we pressed the pause menu button out of routine, but then we accidentally pressed quit. The game doesnt give you a Are you sure about this? When you press quit. Then we tried to get back into the level, hoping our progress saved. It didnt. Now we have to go all the way back and do the level all over again (which is excruciatingly long). Other than that, good game.
So this game started out ok but it seems like the same game with a different skin on it. Slightly different towers and with a new enemy every now and again. There is one level where you face a boss and it makes it insanely difficult and just erases your towers. This seems more annoying than it is challenging or clever. Eventually this boss made us quit and regret getting the game. And we enjoy dark souls games Regret paying for this one. 3 stars because its a solid game and works very well for what it is. Just don't expect anything great If it is free then get it. If you need to pay for it, save your dollar and spend it elsewhere.
Compared to other games its so dry and hard to look at.
Ill admit there are some annoying enemies, but overall its a great game. The final fight just isnt fun. Both of the new mechanics it introduces (deleting your towers and a multi-phase fight) are very infuriating and make it feel like you are being forced to use abilities. Id say either one of these features work well, but both of them together leads to an incredibly infuriating loss unless you play perfectly or use a single ability to skip the entire thing. Difficult levels are fine, but when the fight before it is a 20-40 minute slog through the exact same stuff as the last 5 levels, its not a good idea to throw a brand new and super difficult battle at the player. Its just not fun to watch helplessly as your towers are deleted one by one and enemies rush through. You cant plan for it, you cant prevent it, you cant stop it, you just have to sit there and watch.
Game is dull once you complete it. Offers a lot in terms of strategy but only for a short while. Updates needed.

Frontiers delivers it all with amazing maps and super fun towers, with every tower having its own unique purpose. The levels require some amount of tactical play even on the easiest difficulty. We would say this is the best game in the series but they are all so good in their own unique way (it just depends on which one Im playing at the time). Id say this game is definitely worth at least a try. Amazing game.
We have had so much fun playing this game! Great to play when you have down time.
After finishing the first game, we decided to buy this one. After playing a bit of it we realize that it is on the same step of the first one in regards of level design and types of heroes. However what is different is that the levels are a lot harder in this game and we often found ourselves having to retry the same mission over and over just to complete it. Playing on casual felt the same as playing on veteran. We hope Ironhide makes this game free because it isnt good enough of a game to buy unlike the original free game.
We cant get pass the 1st boss because of the annoying mummy summoner we hate this level and we hope the mummy summoner gets a debufff.
Impossible to win certain levels even on easy mode truly a lay to win game.
