ARia’s Legacy is the first mobile escape room game using fully immersive AR. Instead of displaying objects on a table in front of you, it creates a virtual environment around your physical space that has you walking around your room discovering parts that were never there before. Through the power of ARKit, you can immerse yourself in different levels of mystery using an iPhone or iPad, as you uncover the story behind ARia’s sudden disappearance and discover her legacy.
In ARia’s Legacy, you are part of a team of archaeologists excitedly looking for artifacts at your newest archaeological site. Suddenly, your shovel strikes a chest that you quickly unearth with the help of various tools around you. But when you try to open it, you are seemingly thrown into a locked room that is at once familiar and eerily foreign to you.
Your only clue seems to be the chest that you found and the name “ARia" ringing in your head.

We think this game is over all amazing! We have never experienced anything like it! Our only problem is we has been stuck on this one part of the game (Not so far in) where we assume is the key to get into the house in the astrology dial box only has 11 actual zodiac signs, and on the letter showing the signs and the planets, excluding the sign Capricorn. Can someone please tell us why that is? But anyways, we think this is a pretty cool app and we would keep on playing if only we could get past it! :)

We dont typically write reviews but this game is really wonderful. We will be purchasing more chapters as they become available. We love how immersive this game is and we were stumped on a couple of puzzles. Give it a try!
This is not free. The real game will cost you $5.
We paid for the game because the free levels were so well done. We dont want to be completely negative here, so we just want to make it clear that we think the developers really created something special. That being said, we decided to make the purchase because the website said there were 50 levels to play through so we assumed that was what would be available. We figured the paid episodes must have multiple levels. The games been out for at least a year, and we cant find a single word on new levels being released. We had a great time playing what was available, but we feel scammed. Im new to this app, so we dont know the history of how frequently updates come along, but we would not have bought it if we had known how short the extra gameplay was with no word on when the rest will be available.

Its a very amazing game to play and Im stuck on the box outside the front door and Im thinking it makes a star in the sky but can you give us a hint.
First of all, we really like this game. Im not a gamer, but this combination of ideas is creative and beautiful. However, as a newcomer to escape games, Im stuck in Episode 5. We managed to quench the fire and get an extra key that we dont know where to use. We think we have unlocked every drawer and closet that ever has a lock on it… And the key says Unlock and open the door. But we really couldnt find any door in the room. We dont know what we missed or if theres a problem… We repeated the process and was still stuck there. But we saw someone passed all levels… And so maybe it wasnt a bug but we are lost. Could we expect some response (hopefully)? Thanks a lot!
We tried the multiplayer function and it just kicks us out of the game other than that its very very fun and the puzzles are good as well we just wish we could have more information on the multiplayer function so we could play with someone but it wont work.
We never imagined this happening in real life its awesome. And the open world aspect is so cool! Gonna buy chapter 1 soon!
We love this game. Played it as a family mirrored to our TV, finally an app that brings everyone together. Recommend it to everyone we can. We wish more games were family friendly. When is chapter 2+ coming? We are anxious for the next chapters.
Im stuck on episode 6, we cant figure out what to do with the bookshelf. But Im very hopeful for new episodes. Im really missing these games during this quarantine!!
Our kids and we had a lot of fun actually having to walk up to objects to figure out some of the puzzles. Wish there were more chapters!

We cant seem to save our game. At first we thought it saved automatically, so we closed the app and turned off our phone. When we came back to it, we had to start all over again. Okay, fine, we didnt get that far the first time anyway. We couldnt find a save button. Pressing on the top left button just said if you leave now, your game wont be saved. Does the game save after we reach a certain checkpoint? We played for a little longer but found no way of saving the game so we just quit. But Id love to continue playing if we can! Please tell us how to save.
Augmented reality game feels like a poor man’s virtual reality game. Cumbersome to navigate – especially with an iPad. Puzzles arent too hard; graphics are nice. Would have been a better adventure game without the AR gimmick.
Fun game however it would be better if you could save your progress if you close the game.
Im sick of all these games being listed as free yet when you download them, you then have to pay for chapter one. Someone needs to change this rule in the App Store and if an app isnt free, like truly free, it should not be listed as such.
Im using an we phone 11 and it immediately crashed when we opened it and has been doing so for a while.
Crashes at scan area at the start. More than one person guys.
Emailed developer several times over the few months. They say they are working on it but nothing changes. Our phone is iPhone 11 Pro.
Game looked to be promising but we’re unable to play because the game keeps crashing everytime it’s in AR scanning mode. It crashes immediately soon as we see the camera feed and start scanning for empty space.
Definitly the best mystery game! We love it so mush. Also when we were stucked on astrology puzzle, their support team was so supportive and believed in us that we will pass, bigger support then our family.

Its a great game, it makes you think critically with not-so-obvious clues making the entire experience that much better. Its a bit difficult but it makes your mind work harder to solve the mystery. Our only issue is that we passed level 6, now we have nothing to play. We could forget about the game in about a month when another developer comes up with a similar game. It would be pretty cool to have more levels but we guess Ill just have to put it off and see how long the fascination lasts. Great game though!

We absolutely love this game! We love the concept of escape rooms, it’s just most times there too expensive or we don’t have the time to do them! We love this.
Its a cool idea but thats about it. The graphics arent great and our game froze/crashed and we completely lost our place and got sent back to the first room. We only downloaded this to earn currency in another game and give up because we dont want to start over.
When we try to play with a friend it doesnt work and kicks us out. How can we play with a friend.

Just repeats the same hint long after we completed the action. This game seems incomplete.
We love how this game teaches patience, perseverance and problem solving skills. The AR part is quite immersive our kids have fun while we are bonding trying to solve puzzles. Part of the struggle is getting stuck and we know you can message them on social media and theyll reply. We got stuck on the first stage and now we are stuck on the astrology part for part two. We know people requested for hints within the game. And we feel bad for the person who has to answer all the emails and messages because they got stuck lol. Anyway, the game is enjoyable by yourself but its a party when you are doing it as a group! So much fun.
Fun time, really cool AR experience. However we found the puzzles to be a little convoluted and the clues proved to be a little too vague or confusing to enjoy the game fully. We got to the second level and after reading the same note over and over we still had no idea how the hell to line up the box puzzle. Now it may just be our own fault, but a hint option or watchable/readable walkthroughs would be helpful since we basically just rage-quit.
Love this game. We have enjoyed the time it took to figure out the puzzles and clues. We cant wait until the next chapter is released.

A suggestion: a lot of the fun with escape the room concepts are that you experience it with family/friends. Any thoughts on having some sort of party-mode for multiple people to crack bigger rooms? We really like the idea of this game and it is really cool, but it says that the voice is there to help you if you get stuck and she just says the same thing every time. We cant pass the first level and it would be nice if you had a few hints if youre stuck for too long. We’ve been stuck for a long time and want to keep playing but just cant figure it out.
Updated rating and edited review: Bought this game cuz it was a rainy day… Hoping that this game would make the day less gloomy… The instructions for scanning the room is not very clear… There is no help menu and no saving the game… Not that we could find anyways … You can however save the room space you used but once you leave to find help/ instructions… You have to start all over… Not much of a problem since we couldnt get any further… (tried to save a second room space but didnt have the option) The items by default in the bag are not necessarily in actual size view… Which altered our perception of what an item was… Seemed to be a bigger item but turned out to be much smaller… You can zoom in and out to inspect the item which is a nice touch. We read on some of the reviews to send them a message via fb, email or twitter but twitter doesnt allow us to send messages to them so we tweeted them… No response… So much for our rainy day game… Next day tried FB… Got a response in about an hour as indicated. The game itself is pretty cool in that you can literally walk around the objects in the game… Even look under and above, sideways even… Pretty visual… Unfortunately some items had holes and were not completely whole or rendered… But still pretty cool to be able to inspect the in game objects visually as if it were right in front of you. As far as the battery… We actually airplayed it so that we can get a much bigger view and so that we can both see the game so that may have caused additional draining… Have a battery pack or cable ready just in case…
We love ARgaming and puzzles but Im on the first part and cant even find where the hook or the key goes and we’ve been at it forever.

This game is so much fun!! Can not wait for more episodes. If you love VR and puzzles this is the game for you. It keeps us and the kids entertained for hours lol.
