The camera is not always able to recognize the puzzle, for example in poor lighting or due to glare. This is not a problem – the puzzle can easily be entered in manual mode.
For simple puzzles (2x2x2, 2x2x3, 2x3x3, 1x2x3, Skewb, Ivy, Pyraminx, Dino) ASolver finds the optimal solution with the minimum possible number of moves.
The solution of the 3x3x3 Magic Cube and the 3x3x3 Void Cube is very close to optimal. For a well tangled puzzle, that's about 19 moves.
For 4x4x4, 5x5x5, Kilominx with and without centers, and Megaminx the optimal solution is unknown, so nobody knows :)
A well-tangled:
- 4x4x4 on average is solved in 48 moves
- 5x5x5 in 83 moves
- Kilominx with centers in 35 moves
- Kilominx without centers in 33 moves.

We love this app! It works perfect to solve a rubics cube! All you do is put in the exact point your rubics cube is at or take a picture and it gives you step by step instructions. It will show you a video of it moving step by step at whatever speed you want or it will list the steps with pictures. It worked so good no matter what point we put the rubics cube at.

We recently got a 12×12 cube and a 3×3 gear cube. Will there be an update for that.
We downloaded this app and realize there wasnt many ads which we are so happy with. We dont know how to solve a cube, which is why we downloaded this app. This app helped us solve it and its so fun to make patterns.
We got a megaminx and this is an amazing solve app where you can go at your own paste.
Two things we especially like about the app – (1) the camera feature allowing easy entry of the cubes scrambled state works much better than other cube solving apps we have tried. We hardly ever get an error message that the entered cube state is invalid, and (2) the algorithm for solving 5×5 cubes is much more efficient than other apps we have used. Other apps we have used took about 250 turns to solve the cube using the half-turn metric. This app only takes 80 to 85 using the half turn metric, which is a huge improvement! Highly recommended.
Only six solves until you have to pay or watch ads, but you can just delete the app and reinstall it.
We scrambled it all up because we wanted to be a big boy and put in a MASSIVE (LOW TAPER FADE) combination and when we tried doing the opposite we failed and left it alone for a few days then we got this app! Now our cube is solved Question for developers: how do you make and add the app to the AppStore.
When we got this app in 2023 to solve our megaminx, we tried to color it, but it said it had wrong colors, but it didnt. Today, we decided to get it again and they changed the design and this time, the app was organized and it actually solved our megaminx.
We did not know how to solve a Rubiks cube but now we can!!!!!! You can solve any type of cube a 6 by 6 by 6 by 6 we could not find the times dont mind that But back to the point it is so fun It only has 3 steps 1-find the cube you have. 2 click on your cube and scan it. 3 it will help you solve it so follow the instructions it tells you. And if we are only 9 years old and we can understand it you can so download it now it is a 5 star rating/app.
We mix it up for fun and if u study the moves u can be a pro at it we recommend this app a bunch.

If you dont know how to solve a runic cube run this is the app for you. It has step by step solving videos and different patterns you can do on your cube and it even teaches you how to solve different runic cubes like the pyramid.
The app is great, but sometimes with certain cubes with a logo sticker on the white side / Face of the cube (like GAN), the app will sometimes mistake the logo for a different color. It is an overall great cube solving app for sure, we even solved a megaminx that has been sitting on our seat for over a year.
This app is absolutely amazing and is very helpful.
