What Makes Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles Stand Out

Astrea is a DICE-deck-building roguelike that flips the script on deckbuilders by using dice instead of cards and an unique dual “damage” system: Purification vs Corruption.

Features

• Unique dual “damage” system: Purification vs Corruption – In Astrea there is a new type of “damage” system. Purification can be used to damage enemies or heal yourself. On the other hand, corruption can be used to damage yourself or heal the enemies. Pacify enemies through Purification, or Corrupt yourself to unleash abilities that help tip the scales.
• Dynamic Health Bar system – With skills attached to your health bar, you can take Corruption to enable these skills and unleash powerful abilities. But be careful, if you take too much Corruption you will be consumed by it.
• Not cards, but dice! – Build a dice pool that fits your playstyle. Choose from over 350 dice and three dice types; reliably safe, perfectly balanced, or powerfully risky. A dice type system designed with high-risk, high-reward in its core.
• Customize your dice – Forge your fate by editing die faces with new actions, tipping the odds of powerful results into your favor.
• Choose from Six Brave Oracles – Each possessing their own unique dice sets, abilities, and playstyles. From ingenious spellcasters to brutish berserkers, whether you like beating the opponent into submission or outsmarting them with clever plays, there’s an oracle for you.
• Uncover over 170 modifying Blessings – Imbue your Oracle with unique passives yielding potent effects that changes up your fundamental tactics. Choose between Star Blessings, passive effects with lower power, or Black Hole Blessings, powerful passive effects with a drawback.

This Card game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

We like this game very much, but when playing with a mobile phone, the screen is not covered on both sides, which affects the experience. We really hope that the developers can adapt the game to the mobile phone screen, because this is really a good game. We really like it.

This game should be lauded as one of the best roguelike deck builders available. If the art and overall ambiance doesnt capture you, then the complexity of its mechanics certainly will. We own it on both PC and now iOS. You wont regret buying it if youre a fan of games like Slay the Spire, Monster Train, Balatro, or Dawncaster. This game, in our mind, has earned its spot as one of the best in the genre. Quick note/question to the dev though, are there any plans to get rid of the black bars, or was shrinking the screen size a matter of necessity to port the game.

A very unique take on roguelikes. Instead of worrying about just cards, you have to be concerned about probabilities too. The riskier dice are more powerful. It's it worth it? Do you have enough safe dice to counteract their negative sides? On top of a great game is a responsive developer. We had a game breaking bug that was fixed in a couple of days.

This port is fantastic, but we have one small issue. The game seams to be running at 30fps at all times. Its just weird because Im on an iPhone 13, and it should be able to run it perfectly. Either way we absolutely love this game, so it doesnt really bother us.

Theres some love put into this game.

Great port and well worth the money. However, please support more resolutions for full screen. Also, please include a toggle for a 60 fps mode. Thank you for porting the game to iOS.

Good game that we already owned on PC but decided to grab it to have it on the go. But its 2025, why doesnt this support full screen on newer phones? Even extending the background would be better than having black bars on the side. Just makes it look like an app from 10 years ago. Wish we had gotten it on Switch instead.
