Your backgammon app is one of the very best ones out there.
We enjoy the game and play often. We do find opponents getting an unusual number of doubles at times, but occasionally we get them. We would like to know the purpose of the coins. What can you do with them. We have over 3,000,000, but dont understand what they are used for. We know we can buy new avatars, for example, but it would take a long time to use them up. Any other purchases.
The house gets every break, and odds are stacked. Graphics average.
This is the first site where the dice seem to be truly random. It does need more experienced players.
This is our favorite version of Backgammon which Ive been playing for over 50 years. This app offers many options and controls for the player but the rankings system can be a bit confusing and they dont explain it anywhere Ive been able to find. Example: our screen name is now followed by a gold star with the number 57XP in it. It is now clickable to find out what it is and we can find info online, yet. Other than that, they continue to update the app to keep it fresh and it allows to to play at three skill levels either with the computer or with someone onlinethey score the same but live is more fun. Now, someone tell us what that star is for.
This game plays very welland fairly.
Dice rolls are not random. Instead, the rolls are computer generated and your opponent always has the advantage and always wins. Example, our outcomes always leave us unprotected while our opponent continues to get perfect rolls. We seldom request double because the outcome is always the same, we lose.
The dice program os good for unprofessional player, don't spend your time and money.
Great game. The only issue is you cant resign a game immediately. You and your opponent have to wait for commercials to run. Should allow resignation to be right away then play commercials.
This is the best one Ive used.
Need to add more time before timing out game. Sometimes you have to think about your move in a tight game and all the sudden it times out. Says idle too long and then game over. Very frustrating.Otherwise fun game.
We like the game but you have to endure very long ads before you can play.
Not sure why our doubling cube no longer works on level Hard.
We have been playing this game for a while and we are familiar with player behavior. Since this latest release, it feels like the tournaments are computer opponents and not other players. Are we really playing against other individual players? We think not.
We have been loving this game and played it numerous times a day. We can deal with the ads that come after you finishing a game, B 4 going to a second game. However, since the recent update the ads start B 4, the game fully loads. Its at least 4 ads B4 you can even play the game. And it makes you watch each one. Very annoying. We have stopped playing this and and we are looking for a better one with few ads. This is just too too many.
The app is really nice, we used to play it all the time, but they updated it and its blinding. We dont like it as much. We hope that they change it a little bit again.
The only Backgammon on the internet thats fair.

The game is good. The ads very long and many.
Ive been playing this game for several months now. Our points that we acquired were 40,000+ points. We bought a new iPad and transferred everything to the new and lost all our points. So this is a request for the developers to restore our points, please and thank you very much.
We have loved this game for a long time. Recently, when playing opponents online it times out even after youve moved and committed. This has happened several times and is very annoying when youre in the middle of the game and have to restart. We really hope they can get this bug fixed cause its always been a great game. We will change our rating to five once again if they do.
We play single hard against the computer. Ive not ever had as many perfect rolls as the computer gives itself. Im on the shelf a lot. Out of 5 games Im luck if we win one. It gives itself more double rolls. Cheat, cheat, cheat.
Roles non random, especially if trying to get in. We only play live players so the non random rolls appear to be as likely to help (or hurt) us as our opponent. Doubling cube doubles from 1 point, does not doubles bet so makes it pretty meaningless not to take it. Since with experienced players the skill is in using the cube it takes that element out unless you just pretend it matters. Too easy to amass points. Even the worst players making the most boneheaded moves (and losing) seem to amass as many points as we have. We do like the graphics and pretty intuitive play. Addendum: we just figured out that often the online players are actually bots. Figured it out as they make moves no human would make no matter how poor a player they were.
Great game for playing online. But latest version has a bug that ends the connection to your opponent when someone cant roll because the home board is blocked and they cant bear off. If we have our home board blocked and opponent cant bear off, after we have opened the home board and they can roll, they never roll again and we win by timeout. And whenever opponent blocks their home board and we cannot roll, after opponent rolls once and if we still cannot bear off, they never roll again and we win by timeout.
The Daily Game in this app is ridiculously unfair. The ratio of single pieces for opponent vs. Us when the game begins is uneven (we were dealt NINE singles), the amount of doubles rolled by opponent is unrealistic (3 them, none us)and the hard level is unwinnable. Not fun, not fair.
U get on the hard board. The computer cheats. Gives the computer alot more of the doubles and only gives us rolls where we HAVE to stay open for the computer catch us open. Then when Im up on the board, it only gives us doubles we cant come down on.Like Really?. A computer have to cheat to win? WOW.
We played ten games where we had built a strong finish and in each.in a row.the other player got the perfect roll or we received a roll that exposed a chip the other player than hit. This game is clearly manipulated and fake. Horrible experience. Deleted.
This is absolutely the worst game ever. You would think that the game is run by dominion. We have never experienced cheating like this.
We signed up and played this game that we thought was an honest game. This game you have options to bet 0 coins, 5, 20 and 50. After playing for awhile we informed the owner that double rolls just dont happen in the real world. Example: One opponent we played against rolled 5 double 6's. They told us that could honestly happen. Ive played backgammon for over 50 years and such a thing just doesnt happen. We played against an opponent who rolled in consecutive order double 6's then 5's then 4's. One night recently we decided to play games where we bet 50 coins for 13 STRAIGHT GAMES. We didnt win one game because of terrible rolls and opponents constantly rolling doubles. So we stopped playing that night and thought Id try again the next night. So the next night we played 8 games betting 50 coins for each. Of the 8 games we played we only won 2 games and the only reason we won those is because those opponents timed out which automatically gave us 50 coins each for those 2 games. If you want to play backgammon theres other games out there that are honest.
At first we thought this game was for real but quickly realized how rigged the rolls are. Will never play again.
We could like this game if it werent so frustratingly slow! You simply loose focus from boredom. Also, need to increase the stakes/rewards.
Wow! We just updated this app. The format is bad! We decided to just go ahead and try it. Again the video to watch for coins does not work! Im deleting this app and finding a new one.
Correction: now that Ive played for awhile, this is worse. On hard and normal. We dont need this agitation. Delete This ones a little better than the rest but still too annoying. Just trying to relax and play a fair game, not get agitated. Not working.
We logged into our account earlier today Friday 7/21/23 & had approx. 460k to 466k in our account. We logged back in this after noon Friday 7/21/23 & now there is approx. 304k. We want to know who was in our account & took our points. They need to be permanently banned from your site and our points need to be restored now! At this point no one from your co. Has reached out to us to solve the theft & return us our points, so we cant even give a effen star, but to leave this review we must give a star even though its not deserved. Star is only to leave the review & nothing else. Sorry not sorry. Do the right thing & find the thief, ban them for life, & return our points. EverLeigh is our game name.
After recent update, ads are ridiculous and even cause timeouts when sending invites to friends. Ive played this app for months, some glitches-freezing, ghost pieces, etc, but NOW???!!!! Cant even get to the game because it times out most of the time, and if it doesnt, then the dice are rolled for us on first roll because ad was playing.. So frustrating..DELETE DELETE DELETE.
This was such a fun game, a classic to play with people across the world. We played more than 3k games. Now you update to a clownish game that appears targeted at juveniles with the layout, smaller board and larger ad on bottom of screen. You ruined it! THANKYOU.
We are not at all pleased with the updates.
Used to love this app, until this morning when we opened it to what appeared to be some cartoonish style of app that is insulting to the intelligence needed for this game. The board and graphics are infantile. Please return to the true feel of playing backgammon that this app embodied.
Why did you change it up? Most people are right-handed and now the dice on on the left! Also, the levels are way off! We play easy to difficult and ALL are difficult/expert. Ridiculous.
The reason is very simple! Completely unbiased !! Great job, to whom did it! There is finally a game that only depends on ability to play and luck from the dice.
We try to play with an online opponent and all we get is searching.for over 5 minutes. We tried to contact someone about the issue over a day ago, and we get no reply. We removed the app, then put it back on our iPad. Still wont work. We really enjoy your game, but Im getting frustrated by this issue and the lack of response. Help.
We could almost deal with the ads before and after every round. If the game wasnt rigged. Played many games over the course of the past few days. Every time we would come close to winning, the computer would roll doubles. And then more doubles. We counted the number of doubles rolled in each game once we noticed it was happening, and the computer ran like a 3:1 ratio in its favor in rolling doubles. No thanks.
Now it doesnt even start games. Was good before, but it is completely unusable at this point. So now you can play games. But the opponent moves do not match the dice. Its completely random.
We cant play the game because we cant close the quick book ad. Ive closed out the game, restarted and it still wont close. Please, either fix this or pull the ads for quick book.
The algorithms for this game ensure that the rolls favor the computer. The computer wins the initial roll 9 out of 10 times, when it should be closer to 50/50. And if you have a single piece open, the odds are 90% the computer will roll to hit your open piece. Fun if you like a game thats rigged against you from the beginning.

Dice rolls favor the computer majority of the time.
Dont even say the dice rolls are random because they are not!!! We played multiple games and literally the other player would roll doubles and then doubles again and we would roll 1 & 2 and the 1 & 3 and the other player would always get just the right roll every time to get out of jail, to claim your piece or at the end to finish first. Plus it seemed at the end the opponent would roll back to back high doubles. Crappy game dont download it.
The game is fine, a little heavy with the ads. But the most frustrating aspect is trying to play championships. You can win the first game and select the button to continue playing in the championship, but after (another) ad, the game board stays frozen on the previous game. Does not matter how long you wait, cannot get to next game. Arrggghhhhh.
Fun enough. We only play online opponents so no comments on AI play. Many flaws include 1. Anyone can can resign at any time to avoid gammon even if gammon is assured 2. Anyone can just disconnect from the server and both sides will see their opponent time out and both players win. 3. Doubling doesnt apply to the coins you bet to start. So if you increase the starting bet, the doubling strategy math is silly and you should accept any double if you have even the slightest chance of winning. 4. It can be buggy. Every so often, usually when we are way ahead and starting to bear off checkers while opponent has checkers on the bar, the game does weird things like magically show us as having negative checkers on the bar and opponent times out. So fun enough to play but not much like competitive backgammon.
