BADLAND is an award-winning atmospheric side-scrolling action adventure platformer set in a gorgeous forest full of various inhabitants, trees and flowers. Although the forest appears to be right out of a beautiful fairy tale, there’s something terribly wrong. The player controls one of the forest dwellers to find out what’s going on, and discovers an astonishing number of imaginative traps and obstacles on the way.
BADLAND takes side-scrollers to the next level with its innovative physics-based gameplay combined with stunning, atmospheric graphics and audio.

We would like to blurt out something here. This game has been a part of our childhood ever since. We know frogmind rebranded (we think) into Hype Hype Oy, but If anyone is reading this, please try to get this game back. When we checked the newest levels posted, its been 2 years. We want this community back, we want a way to somehow make this game flourish as it was years ago. We would also like the game to fix the search levels system. We love this game, and we still love it to this day.
This game is so good as a kid we used to play it and its soo fun play it with 3 friends of urs and yeah.
Amazing style, easy controls, and the checkpoints and respawning allows you to rethink a situation. Great game. 10/10.

Addicting in a fun way. Great puzzlemastery in an interesting and calming landscape, with enough tension to get you on the edge of your seat all while only having 1 control aspect. Really brilliant.

Hi, Badland! We have some pluses and minuses. 1 plus: theres an free editor with many items in-game. 2 plus: many levels. 1 minus: we cant Sign up into badland. 3 plus: you can save groups in editor and place it. 2 minus: we cant make our skin! (e.g. Color, eyes type.).
We purchased this game back when it came out on our android. Years later we switched to iPhone and was crushed. When we finally saw it again, we bought it immediately. Thats been a few years ago now, and we still love it just as much as the first time.
For a game that may cost a dollar it is super worth it. Not only can you play many levels but you can also create your levels! Another thing is that there are no ads at all! No payments needed it is already gone. Highly recommend it. Super fun game and super addicting to play! We think ourselves that it is super fun creating levels and yeah. Fives stars, Highly recommend it for someone who likes playing levels and coding and creating levels.

We love this game a lot. We literally got over 22000 clones just from grinding some clones in these levels called more clone,more clone too and, more clones in the newest category anyone can find these levels.
It needs no Wi-Fi and plus the game is hard which we like.

This is shockingly well polished for a mobile game. We played this on our dads iPad for years and we finally got it for ourselves. This is an amazing game.

We used to play this game on our dads phone for hours and hours and hours. Id watch lets plays and every single video we could get our grubby little mits on about this game. Its so nostalgic for us. Yet once we got our own phone we forgot about it. We couldnt find it on our dads phone. He deleted it. Today, while we were scrolling through the app store, we saw the familiar little black fuzzy creatures and immediately downloaded it. We just want to thank this game for making up half our childhood. This and little inferno.
This is one of the best games we have ever played totally a 5 star rating.
Its very fun to play the levels and make your own! The main thing we like about it is that the level editor is very comprehensive. So everything means what it means. Ive played this game on multiple devices as a side thing when Im bored and have free time and it has not failed once to entertain us! So give it a try even if you dont like it that your opinion and we will respect it. But Im our opinion its one of the best mobile games of its time maybe even the best. 14/10 would and did play again. This is coming from a 13 year old have fun.

What a trip this game is , the strangest of the strange when it comes to games , definitely one of a kind.
We cant express how immersive this game really is with the puzzles and the retrying over and over till you figure it out is quite exciting and not to mention your not done after you complete the game you can try and collect all the clones as a perfect 3 in all the maps.
Our dad had this on his phone and we always played it and always loved it. Im glad they added new features and levels, and the game is very cheap. Worth more than the money you pay.

We gave this game five stars because this was our childhood game, we were obsessed with it as a little kid and we just got it again after so many years forgotten, its a good time passer and full of fun levels.
We used to play this when we were a child almost everyday. We downloaded it again and come here to say, whatever you do dont stop with updates or new levels! It doesnt matter which one gets updated (cause we have all the badland apps downloaded.) we love you guys and always will stay tuned for more levels and new things added! Im a happy and very very satisfied player! Thank you badlands for letting us re-live our nostalgic memories.

We played this game at our dads funeral on our ipad mini and it was entertaining.
This game is amazing! The physics are crazy and the graphics are insane, had us binge playing it for hours! While we admit some of the levels are tricky, that's kinda the point.
This app is currently incompatible with iOS 15. Badland 2 worked fine, and we bought this because we enjoyed Badland 2, but the app does not open. Please update! Edit: app is now updated and works! It is amazing! Thank you.
This has to be the first ACTUAL addicting offline game we have ever played. Its so interesting and the storyline is insane! We dont understand the little fellas story but the gameplay just already says a lot about it keeps us on our feet and is very fun to play. BADLAND 2 is also a good one to try out! Its this exact game but more. Features a brighter imagery with sharper context. Instead of moving Left to Right you get to also go Up and down and also lets you just travel Left.. This game is amazing.
So Badlands is an old game but it holds up pretty well, Used to play this on our kindle Years ago when we were younger. Features; Level Editor Online published levels 100 Official levels (Eternal Day is player made) Co-op Versus And now for the bad part.. Developers discontinued online services, all published levels are still accessible but the last level we were able to see was uploaded on 2023. Badlands 2 has no Level editor, hence it having less genuine good reviews. Shows .1 stars less still. 5 Star Graphics Physics system certainly exists Complicated level editor.
We loved playing this game & it starts off slow enough so youre able to do it well enough but it still challenges you & thankful for check points so you dont have to start all over when youre having a difficult time on 1 there was only 2-3 areas that we couldnt get that was frustrating (hence the 4 instead of 5) to go back so far to do over & over but once mastered, it was quite the sense of accomplishment!(1i just cut ahead not getting it &spending too long on it).
This game seem to be so inventive because it was such a good mixture of figuring out the puzzles, but sometimes just laughing at yourself as you fly helplessly through the obstacles. We found it to be an incredible way of getting 20 minutes worth of distraction, but then the last several levels just seem to abandon all that and become courses where you play for 10 seconds and die, and play for 10 seconds and die, and played for 10 seconds, and die, etc.
We like it, we do! But it's a little strange… It literally gave us nightmares one night after playing v lit. Don't ask lol. Also it's quite difficult for us, still haven't even passed the first level . That's it. We think we'll go play some BADLAND now.

Eternal days become eternal, no newly uploaded contents. What a pity that the developers abandoned the BADLAND community and pursue more profitable game development.
We remember seeing this game a long time ago we never thought much of it, but one day we decided to buy it, and we were amazed by how fun it was, and we always think we shouldve bought should of bought it when we were 7 or 8. Thats when it got bad, the game got harder once you play longer. Man we were about to buy the second game, and chillax for hours now we cant even do that because its so hard.

Pretty fun game in the beginning. The levels progress nicely for a while getting more and more complicated as you go. Problem is that the developers DONT make any concession for the players ability plateau. In other words, youll only go as far as your reaction ability lets you. After that, sorry about your bad luckyour left with having to skip checkpoint after checkpoint finally getting to the point of saying FU to the developers.
The almost impossible to finish user made levels. Without those, its 5 stars.
It would be 5 stars, but the level world search doesnt even work. No matter what we type, the dang thing wont show any levels whatsoever. If that gets fixed it would be an easy 5 stars. It almost impossible to enjoy the game for us because of this glitch/bug. Please fix.
