Battleheart 2 Reviews

Incredible game. Played the original for many many hours and this one is no different. Excellent game in our honest, 30 years of gaming, not as a casual, opinion. Mika mobile deserve way more credit as this game is way better than some so-called Triple A games. The bad reviews are likely from children, which, yeah, we guess this isnt Fortnite. Please keep updating and caring for this game and others like it. We’ve been a fan for 10 years and we dont expect that to change. That said, everything from the original has been improved. When we say original we dont mean Battleheart: Legacy. That is another incredible game but has a different formula than this one. We mean Battleheart. Graphics look great in this game and run smoothly on an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Controls feel more fluid and responsive than the first entry and the additions are all welcome. If you like a challenge we recommend upping the difficulty from the beginning. For us, it was better, MUCH better. Hopefully there will be a Battleheart 3 or more content someday. One can hope.

The art style for this game is way beyond the previous games art style knocking it out of the park. The gameplay is phenomenal and the outstanding upgrade system truly brings this game to light. We do hope to see a few more characters in the future like a long distance Ranger or an evil Shaman healer or even introduce a new class that is like straight up tank/brute. We will probably be binging on this game for the next couple years. Great Job Mika Mobile! UPDATE: we are just going to take a guess since it has been a while, the devs are working on another class for this game. We are begging that you add another dark themed character. It could be a werewolf which would be new and cool. An evil gnome or a good one. Something stand out-ish. A dark healing fairy, an orc ranger. Something that will make the game stand out more to customers like a character who obviously isnt your regular playable human character. We know you guys have never done this before but why not try it out. We think you will make it excellent!!! Just please add something soon because the App Store games are feeling dry and this game is the only thing thats keeping us going right now.

This is easily worth every penny and one of the funnest games we’ve played only two hours in and Im completely addicted there is no time for proper punctuation in this review Must get to get back to game.

PLEASE GIVE ME BATTLEHEART LEGACY 2 PLEAAASSEEEE.

Gotta love Mila mobile inc. They always produce quality games.

Everything we’ve been waiting on for years and more.

Can we get controller support for this game we like playing.

Thank you for the inspiration and the time.

We have enjoyed everything Mika has made so far. Its difficult to put this little gem down!

We were happy to see the characters from the original return, we were even happier to see there was more depth added. We really really hope they make a third game, would love to keep supporting this dev, we’ve enjoyed everything thats come from it.

Battleheart games have always been great and this one is no exception. Lots of variety in strategies available, fun gameplay loop, very stable and professional end product.

Loved the original battle heart, and this one holds not quite exact, but a vary close flavor to the first. We recommend both as great fun games that you can sit down and play in some of your spare time.

Battleheart 2 is really good and is a rpg games and is a part of the Battleheart seris we recommend this game to battle heart fans and RPG players we have some suggestions like the Barbearian should have a wolf friend like in Battleheart legacy and they should add Geamancy like summening golems and they should add ninjas like in Battleheart and the skill charm but eaither way Battleheart 2 is a really good game you should play it.

The combat system is perfect for mobile, and it has more depth than most RPGs here. You choose what order to unlock your skills in, you level up, you get better gear, you mix and match characters in your party. The art and music are charming. Battles come in waves and are a few minutes long. Its hard to stop. Just one more, we tell myself at 12:30 a.m. It is a warm and fuzzy RPG experience for classic RPG fans who want to play on a mobile device. Dont worry if it hasnt been updated in a while. Its fun, it works great and it doesnt need updating. And there are no IAP, so it is designed to be fun the way it is. Buy it once and play for hours and hours.

Hello everyone, developer, developers team How are you guys doing we see new update was 3 yrs ago :/ What do you guys not have enough to be encouraged to do more updates this series is very important to continue are you guys out of ideas for updates is that the issue? Our suggestion today is to add save to iCloud all files that we made to enjoy not Just one thats not enough guys please make an update for all the file upload saving that would be something you guys can work on and help you guys have a goal to working too. Please reply to this review if there is an answer for us and How was our review? ^_^ <3 Best Regards, Sincerely, Take care and talk you all soon!, Vadim <3.

Mika mobile consistently puts out spectacular mobile titles. Many games try to work around mobile controls instead of embracing them, and the Battleheart series is a great example of the latter. This game plays like a dream, and sets the bar for how we expect mobile games to handle. We played a ton of the first Battleheart back in the day and immediately bought the sequel when it came out. Of course everyone will compare it to the first game and so we must as well. The diversity of characters and how you can build and upgrade each one is great, but we were a little disappointed at the relatively low level cap and grindy nature of this game. We think the linear nature of the first game lead to more tuned encounters instead of picking encounters based on rewards. Buying some of the upgrades requires you to run missions over and over again, and quickly lead to us turning down the difficulty at end game to clear encounters faster. The first playthrough felt great though and we will likely make another playthrough with different characters at some point. We easily put 14 hours into our first playthrough and there is definitely room for replayability.

Its our favorite game we’ve been playing since the first one so we wish for a third one to come out. Its our favorite game we rate five.

This is truly the best fantasy game ever invented in gameplay.

Enjoyed the first! Enjoy the second! More updates with possibly new characters?! ITunes better make the six star rating! Great job!

Battleheart 2 is a very fun and addictive game. PS… The only option Ill like to see implemented is an Auto-Feature.

As with all Mika Mobile games, it plays like a dream. Menus, movement, actions skills, and more all feel natural even on our smaller iPhone SE screen. Deep character/item upgrading system gives us a reason to keep coming back to enjoy that gameplay, too. We have 30+ hours in the first game and can see myself far exceeding that in this one.

Battleheart 2 was one of the first games we’ve played for more than a few hours straight on our phone, and we loved every minute of it. But, we would like the chance to be able to play a game with someone, just to help them out and stuff. And, yes it does have multiplayer, but you have to know exactly where to go to play. A page for open rooms would be the only thing this game needs!

Theres a bard in this game. Theres a guy who plays a guitar. We do need an archer though Along with an online coop And maybe more bosses and enemies. Those are requests not complaints btw The game is 5/5 right now but could be 6/5.

Battleheart Legacy was one of our favorite mobile games and we’re so glad we have a new entry in the series. These games are just plain good. You pay once and get the whole game. No BS.

If you want we can make a group (name is 1111) play with you.

It is great to come back to a game like this after playing many pay to win games. Everything so far has been smooth, no crashes. Seemed grindy till we discovered your heroes are based on group level. So no individual hero level except for skills. Legendary items are random but you never get the same item. Everything you hate about pay games has been addresses. Only down fall is no real pvp interaction. Overall best game of it type since FF Tatics that we have played.

This is just a small nit pick but we really miss the archer from the first Battleheart, hope they put it in this game too!

For $3.99 we got approximately 14 hours of entertainment. We think that is a phenomenal deal considering you cant really do much of anything for $3.99 today. The game is fun with easy mechanics. We wish it was a little bit longer, but Im not holding that against the Developer for the cost of the game. When we read some of the reviews, we think some of these gamers are delusional. They expect way too much for nothing. There are zero micro transactions in this game. Just paid about four bucks and enjoyed the heck out of this game. Thank you!

Flawless Except campaign was too short. Wish they individual character quests. Great game thank you though. Price is a steal.

This game flew under the radar and it looks silly. But theres actually a lit of depth and its fun! A variety of characters with different skills and the challenging bosses makes this a keeper! Great replay value as well. Its been 3 years. Hope you guys update. This is hands down the best! Better than legacy!!!

We havent played this game yet. Im looking forward to it after being a long time on and off again player of battleheart legacy. WHY did you guys abandon such a gem?! We LOVE that game we just wish you guys would have kept that game alive! There hasnt been an update in like 2 years and it has better ratings than this game! Please consider working on Battleheart Legacy again!

So much fun. Great variety of loot items, so many diverse skills for each of the many different characters you have access to right at the start, fun fights, different play styles of each party combo you set up. Really great low maintenance game you can pickup anytime during the day for a quick play.

Most polished entry in the BattleHeart series, cant seem to put this game down. Hoping for updates in the future.

We love it. Wish it had more of a story but we guess that doesnt get enough attention. Absolutely worth it otherwise.

If you know and love the first Battleheart, youll know and love this game. Its a graphical and interactive improvement over the excellent first. Our one complaint? The late-arriving characters from the first game (paladin, ranger) are nowhere to be found!

We’ve played all the battle hearts. They are amazing. Please make Battleheart Legacy 2. We tore though this BH2 content. Legacy kept us playing over and over again and is our all time favorite phone game. Please make BH Legacy 2!!!

Amazing sequel! But please rearrange the shop so that we can see a character’s current equipment at the same time we are looking at the shop. Also please replace all the "effected" with "affected" in the in-game descriptions. When the necromancer’s skeletons are killed it should play a distinct sound, not the same one as when enemies die.

Big Fan of MikaMoblie games. We have bought them all will pay for more games like these that don’t require in-app purchases! If there are other fans like us we think the real question is when is there going to be a Battleheart Legacy 2? BH: Legacy was legit!

We had a blast playing this game with our girlfriend. With a few minor annoying bugs that boot you from multiplayer server randomly in arena, or if you play from iphone and access your swipe down menu it boots you (which can easily happen accidentally selecting your characters from the top right list). We love the simplicity and customization. We were sad to beat the game in <24hrs play time… But at least we can up the difficulty and play some more…

Fun game but gets very repetitive fast and boring. Basically just little battle areas to get rewards to level up and get better equipment. Rinse and repeat. No real point to the game beyond leveling up. Good graphics and fun for short while or to kill a few minutes of time. Im hoping there will be a Battleheart Legacy 2.

Awesome game, super fun for about 15-20 hours for hard core strategy gameplay for nerds like us, then once you got a couple legendary items and tried a few different squads the game is just repetitive at that point. We got all legendary weapons for Samurai, Bard, Rogue, and Fire Mage, and made it to round 33 in arena, well it was fun to experiment and grind but now there is nothing left to do (I have seen pretty much everything…) in this beautiful cavern of a game edit: made it to round 63 in Arena, nothing new.

Great game. Pausing is really handy for lifes interruptions. Only gripe: ever since we specd out Novembers Glacial Spike and Flash freeze they will both randomly do zero damage. Also sometimes monsters appear to be under flash freeze but actually arent – so theyre still moving and attacking but theyre invincible until big wears off (duration of flash freeze). Im hoping these get fixed because she is really useful with her major spa and crowd control capabilities…

Its a lot of fun and a worthy sequel, with some balance and design choices that are weird. We have never WANTED IAP more in a game; if you play a couple battles while waiting in line, its fun, but over time it turns into a grind, and Id love the option to drop $5 to skip some of the more pointless leveling-up fights. The other big problem is, in a busy battle heroes stand literally on top of each other. You need to trigger the special attack of hero A but hero B has the higher Z-order; so then you have to reposition them, which disengages their attack BUT the enemy still hits them. This didnt make the testers mental? If you liked the first, youll love this.

We love this game and come back to it from time to time. Fun game play and appealing character design. While im not a fan of the change to party leveling, we understand the reasoning behind it. The sound design could use a little work but its more than adequate. The arena difficulty seems all over the place, with a level 21 party sometimes we can make it to the 10th wave and sometimes we cant make it past the 2nd. Still, a fun experience overall and worth the money.

It would be really nice if you could make a damage chart at the end-battle scene instead of the line-up animation and the pause which are slightly too long. The chart consists of the damage output from each character so that we can make more informed decisions on what to upgrade next. Thanks.

This game is quite well made and is about 18 hours of gameplay to complete. The unfortunate part of this game however is that there are a few classes that were not in the game that Battleheart and BH: Legacy had. These include, Archer, Battlemage and Monk. To be truthful those classes are our favorites and we quite missed them here.

Please add auto battle we would play it more its just gets annoying doing everything one by one. Thats all we need, we love this game and these types of games these are our favorite if you can please add the auto battle it would be the best. Thanks for the great game.

Pros: Each character feels unique. Its fun to gradually learn how to make our party work well together. Upgrade system provides interesting decisions. Battles are just the right length. Cons: Battles all start to feel the same, and progress to new levels is slow. But unlike in most games, the grinding is fun. Controls take some getting used to. Its especially difficult when characters are close together and we cant select the one we want.

PROS – Challenging character builds – Lots of characters available – Fun battle engine CONS – No content forcing players to develop more than 4 characters – Too easy to obtain max level – Most enemies dont require a lot of strategy to eliminate – Battles get repetitive and kind of monotonous NEITHER PRO NOR CON – No PVP – No story progression DEV RECOMMENDATIONS – Build scenario fights to encourage development of multiple characters – PvP? – More gear slots and enhanced character model progression as you obtain better gear we bought this game a few days ago based on some good reviews. While those reviews werent wrong, we do find myself somewhat disappointed. The game itself is fun. It will take hundreds of hours to max out all 12 characters. That said, there is nothing in the game forcing you to build more than 4 characters. The party level is capped at 30. We hit that in about 3 days of casual playing. There are 5 bosses and we cleared all of them in about 4 days. We had one decently developed character and 3 meh characters and really didnt have much of a problem on normal difficulty. You CAN increase difficulty in the options menu which does make beating the bosses significantly harder (they hit much harder and have much more HP). Outside of the storyline fights (not much of a story btw if that is what you are looking for) there is an Arena which lets you face endless waves of monsters to collect rewards that help build your characters. This mode is fun and challenging but still doesnt give the player a reason to build out other characters. If the developer reads these comments we would love to see some type of scenario gameplay that requires or restricts specific characters. It would also be nice if you could expand the types of obtainable gear (head, shoulders, legs, feet) and make the character models more visually impressive as players obtain legendary pieces. We like the visuals on the legendary weapons but would like to see the characters visually change from pedestrian to legendary. It makes the effort to build them out more gratifying. There is no PVP option. Im not a huge PVP but its always fun to see how your characters stack up and how other players combine the character options. Another opportunity for the developers if you are reading. We dont know if the offline game play was a strategic decision or not but it is nice to have the option to play without connectivity. But we would love to see events with special gear rewards or something similar. We also didnt see much of an incentive to invest in the majority of accessory options. We pretty much focused on haste, skill haste, and skill power items and havent found any reason to stray from those items. Again, maybe scenario type gameplay options make those other enhancements more interesting. Overall we enjoy the challenge of building the characters but wish there was more content to make that challenge more rewarding.

The first one was way more in depth. This one seems like it was made for 9 year olds.
