Find out what gamers are saying about Battlevoid: Sector Siege:

The game didn’t click for us at first, after putting a lot of time into harbinger. Once we got used to the aggressive rts style it was a lot more fun. However, the unlocks and progression trees are arguably not balanced, neither are the ships. Some upgrade trees end in units that are on the same level of the starting line-up. We don’t think many players would mind if the game had a big update rearranging or buffing certain research trees. Still, great premium mobile RTS. Not sure it had any real competition that isnt a money pit.

We have played all the games that you guys have put out. We enjoy this one the most. We do appreciate all the hard work you put into these games. We hope that you dont quit with the updates. Some ideas- add an upgrade or another battle station that we can play, allow us to play other races and their ships, and add more ships and stations overall. Thanks again for the time spent on development. Keep it up.

Love the game lots of fun to play, but we wish you could have multiplayer on it. Us and our friend would love to play against each other, if you can do that would be fantastic! Great game keep doing what you do!

It has some flaws (like the tech tree), but there really isnt a better real time strategy game for iPhone. Because of the lack good real time strategy games for iPhone – we give it 5 stars.

We enjoy playing this game on the iPad. It is quite difficult starting out, but once you push through it and figure it out – it is very fun. Quite satisfying to blow up ships.

Battlevoid Harbinger is still a better game. The concept of this one gives you more control of the battle then harbinger but the graphics and gameplay are nothing compared to battlevoid harbinger. We hope that this game gets a facelift or harbinger gets a game mode like sector siege with its graphics or a sandbox mode which would be incredible.

Its unbalanced, easy is too hard, too difficult to level up. This isnt s PC game you sink 100+ hours in, shouldnt be so tough to level up to buy better ships. Cloud save is broken, wants a email and password? Just use game center, thats what it is for, or facebook or twitter or anything else.

In truth we guess you just cant expect much for a few dollars, at least its not a pay to play game that you sink $20 or $40 bucks into… The game has a nice little concept and we do see what there trying to do but After staring on the intermediate level and getting destroyed very quickly and when we mean very quickly less than an hour worth of gameplay. We tried a few more games and gave of and dropped it down to beginner level and experience the same results. Thats Just nuts!! In the game Youre limited to how many battle stations you can build and ships you can build and you cant do research and upgrade weapons fast enough to hold back The hordes and hordes and waves and waves of enemy ships. Now Why would someone come up with a game and thought that someone would continually put up with be destroyed over and over and over and you just keep playing? Now supposedly the more you stick with the game the better weapons, ship classes you unlock and we get that in some crazy way but after constantly getting whipped where in the world is the fun in that! Game balance needs lots of work.

This is a remarkably boring game. Make a jump, fight enemy, repeat. We just gave away the entire plot. All the enemys look the same and the environments offer little to make things interesting. There is no save feature so you have to start from scratch each time you play which would be fine but it takes a long time to get enough money to buy anything. Basically, this sad excuse for space combat is slow paced, offers no variety, and takes forever… Im talking several hours… To turn your useless ship into something worth using and you cant save it. This game is really bad. One of the worst we’ve played. Save your money.

First, the syncing must be done through the developer web server (instead of iCloud), but the syncing failed all the time so we kept losing our games. Second, at the normal or hard mode, be prepared to restart the game often. There will be times where at the start of the game (first few minutes), you have enemies with TEN (10) strong ship coming at you and you WILL lose. So you have to restart and hope the next game will have easier enemies. If you ever play any RTS game, you know this is near impossible to win unless you keep trying and trying with the hope the game algorithm will give you a break. To put this into context: Imagine playing Starcraft and in the first 5 minutes, you have 10 Protoss Carriers with all upgrades coming at you. You will lose. You can try this: play a Skirmish with a CPU on yours side. Youll notice that the CPU can build 5-10 ships in a few minutes while youre stuck with just a couple. The CPU definitely have the advantage. Some people may enjoy this game, but definitely not for us.

We wish this was good. It looks like it should be. It’s not. It’s not fun. It’s repetitive and boring. Every once in a while we play it again because we really want it to be good. It disappoints us every time. Spare yourself.

This is an amazing game! A little more confusing than the last, especially at first, but there is so much that has been added here. It is so much more tactical than Harbinger. Definitely worth the cost. Excellent work devs! Edit: we have played the game more now, and we dont think that the extra weapons that you can get through the research should be a part of the research tree. They should be available at the very beginning of the round, since each round involves essentially starting from scratch. It basically results in you spending all your time just to get the third weapon of a research tree, rather than actually upgrading your fleet.

The battlevoid series has always been one of our favorites on mobile. So all the things that were changed in the latest patch, aka no more huge fleets warping in at the start, more resources, cheaper unlockables, etc. It’s a challenge as it is and we like that. Yall are making it too easy-mode. Let people have some satisfaction in beating something difficult. Response to developers: It’s slightly better. Now it’s time to fix that tech tree implementation. Would much rather have tech on the unlockables section. At least for campaign. The current way makes much more sense for skirmish though.

We love the universe you have made and recruited friends on your last two games. This one is awesome and love the freedom it gives for strategy. It can be a little repetitive and seems like you spend a long time investing into a map only to start over!! Which is fine!! However, please give us devoted and paying fans the opportunity to defend our maps we put so much effort in to. Also bring some of the alien weapons back they were so random and exciting to find! Maybe with that it opens the door for some self made hero ships that carry over!! Idk you guys are the geniuses that made these awesome games just would love some continuity in our time spent. Love you guys will wait for all your updates and will keep playing in the meantime!!

First off, this game is amazing. We think this was the right step in the series to freshen things up again and give a RTS style game with tech trees. This game is super fun and is one of our favorite RTS games. Havent had a chance to unlock advanced techs yet but we recognize some from the harbringer series definitely some new interesting ones like Gatling drones and turret drainers. Really love seeing the marines, pilots, engineers and scientists from the one of the previous games. It feels pretty balanced so far with difficulty and pure ship balance. Cheap ships feel cheap compared to ones that are 7x as expensive which is great. More expensive ships allow for more concentrated power. We could have 7 1000 dollar ships that die fast and thus dps goes down or one 4 turret ship that can hold its own and repair its damage along with some defense with fighters. Finally, thank you for bringing us another great game thats not about grabbing as much cash as possible but rather delivering a great product. As of now its #117 in Strategy and we hope its gets higher and higher on the board for more to see. P.S we would totally support paying for a dlc of any kind.

Thanks for developers for you work!

Fun and well made. Gets repetitive. You always only make one point defensive and one main turret due to upgrade points. All provided main weapons are pretty bad, and half the unlockables are bad. The research tree is dumb because the top stuff is either worthless or takes way too long to unlock. You don’t get upgrade points for winning battles unless its close to your base, thats odd. We guess you could build a harvest ship but youd have to spend the whole game researching that tree, which by then you dont need it. We dont understand the wide variety of terrible ships to buy. They are all too slow and you only need point defense lasers. Why have ships with hangers? Why have expensive slow ships? The cheap ships are better then the expensive ones. It takes almost half of each game just to research your vision so you can see anything. Which you have to repeat every time. They should really make the game like kingdom rush where you have a map of battles that you progress through that lead to bosses and each point on the map give you a couple tech tree points to distribute as you like. As it is now you never get to play a satisfying game with multiple types of weapon turrents or even more then one type of fighter planes. If your putting upgrade points in one type of plane why would you even build others. Especially if you have to research just to unlock. Lol.

Bought the game to support this great developer. First Battlevoid is still on our ipad and we still play it on long flights a year later. New battlevoid seems more complex and deep and we’re yet to master it, but the game is as awesome for long flights as the 1st one.

We’re a lover of you guys, truly great game devs! Alas, we’re not the biggest fan of this one so far. In theory, it sounded great to mix a defense and squad commander together game together. But, it just seems like there’s too much clutter on the screen, we’ve never said this about a game, but there’s just too much to do all over our screen. Maybe you’ll change the interface/ship controls. If you did, or gave the option to change the layout around, we would appreciate it. Nonetheless, a great start guys.

This is a real RTS, single player, no paying for anything once you’ve bought the game. Its not easy but it is a high quality game from some great developers and we highly recommend it if you want a game that you can’t pay to win.

We like the game but there was few bugs. One obvious bug is cloud data sync just not working at all! Please fix it!

Just started playing, we love the detail of gameplay and graphics.

Great fun with strategy & resource allocation in space battles.

To all of the devs out there thank you! We have played Battlevoid: First Contact and fell in love with it. Then we decided to buy harbringer and let us tell you it was worth it! We just bought this one and am extremely excited to play it all night long (just dont tell our mom)! Also recently we read your page about how you guys didnt make as much money as you hoped of harbringer and we wanted to just give you all a massive donation to keep your company alive but sad to say we are now down to $1.27 in our bank account after deciding to buy this. We hope that even this one tiny purchase will help you stay alive. You all deserve it. Thank you devs.

We’ve played a lot of space games and this one beats them all by a lot. The game is long and challenging, which keeps the fun up. For what we’ve seem the developers pay attention and care. Best of all you buy the game and thats it, enjoy because there is no need to spend more money like in other games. Overall and really amazing and fun game. We hope the developers keep the support and bring new things to the game.

So we like the game, but we were in the middle of a level and had all the upgrades up to where we wanted them and a review pop up activates. And once cleared it went to campaign map and shows that level won and wouldn’t let us go back. About 40minutes of play wasted and now we can’t redo the level for point. Bad idea for a review request! Reply: Like we said we like the game and we hope you guys do well. If it could be a pop up on a load screen it would be better. It came up immediately (after a free win we guess) and looked like it stopped the game. Thanks for the reply.

We have played all three Battlevoid games. First contact is good and we really enjoy Harbinger. The reason we like Harbinger so much is because you keep the ships and weapons that survive battle and bring them into the next fight. Its fun to build a kick butt battle fleet. While sector siege has some nice new features we dont like starting over every from scratch every time. Each new fight is just like the last as you start researching, building, defending etc. The repetition gets old after awhile.

Please add a faster speed. Too much idle time waiting for money and research.
